Brandon Piers spoke so decisively that Abigail couldn't help but glance at him, wondering what bad idea he was up to again.
"Soft-hearted?" Brandon met Abigail's gaze, thinking the little fatty had softened. He raised an eyebrow.
Abigail shook her head. "I'm just curious how you managed to deal with his lawyer."
As she spoke, Abigail flipped through the contract in her hand with a bit of amusement. There was a subtle language trap in it that Lincoln Green hadn't noticed. How could his lawyer not have seen it?
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I personally acquired Lawyer Toynbee's law firm two days ago. Objectively speaking, he's my subordinate now, so he naturally looks out for my interests. And does this contract have any problems?" Brandon took the contract from her and glanced at it.
Abigail shook her head. Naturally, there was no problem with the contract. It was just that Lincoln Green would be disappointed.
