Brandon Piers felt elated, not only because of the little guy in his arms, but also because someone else's calm face showed tension for him.
He became even more excessive, controlling the force in his hands, lifting and lowering Teddy repeatedly. The little guy laughed even harder, toothless mouth wide open, eyes squinting with joy.
Abigail, standing aside, thought this man was doing it on purpose!
Kelly couldn't help but exclaim, "Teddy likes his dad so much!"
The man who had been nervous just a moment ago heard his son's innocent laughter, and then hearing Kelly's words, fixed his narrow amber eyes on the little guy's face and asked, "Do you like Daddy?"
His answer was another burst of giggles.
Brandon took this as a definite yes and laughed along. He had thought calling himself "Daddy" would be difficult, but it turned out to be so simple once he actually said it.
This was his son, how amazing.
