Two people finished chatting, and the room suddenly became quiet.
The silence was a bit awkward.
"Um..."
"I..."
"You go first." Brandon Piers tried to ease the awkwardness.
"Why didn't you tell Dean Foster about the surgery?" Abigail hesitated and glanced at the man, wanting to know his motive.
"Do you want Dean Foster to know?" Brandon stared at Abigail's beautiful eyes.
"I..." Abigail thought about the defeated look on her senior's face when he left and hesitated.
Brandon misunderstood her, "I know you want to prove yourself, but now is not the time. The things that happened on the day of the surgery were suspicious. Although we found out one of the experts had issues, we can't guarantee there aren't others with problems."
He spoke implicitly, but Abigail understood, "You suspect Dean Foster? How is that possible?"
