Lincoln Green knew Abigail's route wouldn't work out. He was worried about Ruby's injury when Clark's words were as opportune as offering a pillow to someone wanting to sleep. He promptly replied, "That is really great!"
The Stones smiled and chimed in, using the opportunity to bring up the marriage between the two families.
Lincoln was taken aback and found himself in a bind. "About Abigail's matter..."
"Dear in-laws, there's not only Abigail in the Green family." Mr. Stone smiled meaningfully.
Ruby's heart echoed her suspicion. She shot Clark a warning glare.
But Clark leisurely sat on the sofa, ignoring Ruby's reaction, as if letting his parents decide everything.
Ruby was furious. She pulled out her phone and sent Clark a message, "What do you mean?"
"You'll know soon." Clark replied to Ruby's message and gave her a suggestive smile.
