Pullan saw Abigail walking out with a grave expression, following her step by step. His gaze fell on the girl, Sophia Patel, lying on the hospital bed. However, he couldn't suppress his chatty nature. "Miss Abigail, how is she? Will she die? If she does..." It would be quite troublesome if she dies.
"She's lost a lot of blood, but she won't die." Abigail glanced at the girl Pullan was pushing. She seemed to be in her twenties and was likely a blood donor brought by the Piers family. If she had arrived any later, she might not have made it.
Pullan breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that she wouldn't die.
"We're here." Abigail stopped.
Pullan looked at the closed door behind him, then at the seemingly seamless wall. How were they supposed to get out? He couldn't help but look at Abigail.
Abigail bit her lip. "Outside is the morgue. The old man in charge should be there at this hour. However, he's not much of a threat. We might run into four gangsters. Be mentally prepared."
