In the Great Hall, Fred and George barely ate anything, they kept glancing at Lily worried that they just lost their big sister and friend. As for Lily, she is gently messing with her apple while she is trying to think of a way for Fred and George to make up for their actions, unfortunately, it was time to go to astronomy class. Lily got up and the twins quickly followed for they knew that she was like an actual clock and knew when it was time to go to class, how long it would take to get there, and things like that. They reached the Astronomy Tower, but not exactly at the same time, Lily walked in first, and the twins followed a few seconds behind her. The three of them took their seats, however they weren't side-by-side like always, Lily was a few seats away from the twins. Lily got her ENORMOUS amount of paperwork that she did on the Swan constellation, the other students began to swarm into the room. The professor rose up from his desk, "Morning students, now, before I begin with today's lesson, Lily, would you mind giving me your assignment so that I may see which constellation you chose to write about? " Without saying a word, Lily walked up to the front of the class, handed him her work, and he commented, "OH! You chose the Cygnus, interesting choice, almost everyone chose the Sagittarius or the other common or easy constellations that everyone already knows, but you not only chose the uncommonly known constellation, you went into SO much more detail on the ACTUAL constellation and the individual star location and so much more depth, everyone else just kept theirs with what we already know about the constellation as a whole, nothing like this! Outstanding! Ten points to Hufflepuff!" Lily took her seat then he continued, "Now, for today's lesson will be doing a group project where you must choose one of the constellations that wrote for your assignment, HOWEVER you must bring your constellations to life, by that I mean you will be using your wands to make your constellations appear in front of us and do something. Whether it be, the Leo roaring, walking on the floor towards your group, and sitting proudly in front of you all, something along those lines. So, form in a group of three, four, no more, no less. Once you are all grouped together, you must all agree on the constellation that you are going to go with. After that, it's all up to you and your teammates to choose what your constellation will be doing. You all will show us what you came up with near the end of class, that should be more than enough time for you all to come up with at least something, so better get to work." Lily really enjoys Professor Moonacre's classes because he always came up with the most exquisite and unique ways for the students to really grasp the ways of how the stars light up the sky and be able to be seen at night, as well as being able to know each and every constellation is to be located. Fred and George cautiously approached Lily, "Lily, Fred and I are deeply sorry for our actions and jumping to conclusions like we did, could you ever forgive us?" Lily was silent for a moment, but all she could do was nod at the two of them, even though she is still trying to think of some way for them to make it up to her. Fred and George sat next to her and the both of them had already decided that they should do Lily's constellation since she missed the classes and plus it's to make up for what they did just a bit, it's not much, but it's certainly a start. The three of them came up with the idea of the Cygnus constellation flying into the, dive down to the floor, and make it form into ripples as if the floor itself turned into water. One by one, each of the groups showed which constellation they went with and how they made it come to life. Soon, it was Lily, Fred, and George's turn, they go to the front of the classroom, she used her want to summon Cygnus and all three of them made Cygnus's wings flap, going up to the ceiling, then dive straight to the floor, and the floor rippled as if it was water and Cygnus was gone. Almost everybody clapped for their presentation, except the Slytherin bully trio. The three of them were thinking of how to make Lily look bad, or at least not let her become the brightest witch of her age or better than them. Meanwhile, Lily and the twins went back to their seats, "Alright everyone, that concludes today's lesson, class dismissed." Professor Moonacre ended with that, all of the students gathered their things, but Lily was picking her things up extremely fast and bolted out of the classroom, but once she was out of the Astronomy Tower she was by Professor McGonagall, "Oh, Professor McGonagall, so sorry ma'am." Lily said suddenly stopping before she had run literally into McGonagall, which would have caused them to fall. "That's quite alright, dear. I was actually looking for you, Snow. Madam Hooch told me how you saved another student and flew like a Seeker in Quidditch flies. So, I thought you could be the Seeker for Hufflepuff." Lily was SUPER surprised by what she heard, then Professor McGonagall moved her hand to say, " Come with me" instead of using her words. Fred and George finally got out of the tower and saw Lily and Professor McGonagall walking off together, "Wonder what's up." thought Fred and George in unison. Professor McGonagall and Lily walked up to another Hufflepuff student, "Snow this is the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain, Janelle Irene. Irene, I have found you a seeker." she said with full excitement in her voice and a twinkle in her eye. Janelle and Lily carry a trunk to where the flying lessons take place, but there is no one out here right now. "So, before I begin explaining anything, I just want to let you know that Quidditch is a fun sport and event, but it can be dangerous." Lily nodded with acknowledgement upon hearing her say this. Janelle opened the truck and there were three balls, one large reddish-orange one in the middle, and two medium brown ones on the left and right sides with a chain cap on top of them, that were causing the trunk to move side-to-side quite a bit. Janelle bends down and picks up the one in the middle, "This is called the Quaffle, the Chasers," she turns and points to the school's Quidditch ring, "must throw it into one of those three hoops." She turns back to Lily, "The Keeper, that's me, defends the hoops, you with me so far?" She asks while tossing the Quaffle to Lily before she replies when she tossed it back, "I am with you so far, but," she looks down at the trunk, "What are those?" Janelle picks up a club that had a bit of weight to it at the end of it due to the thick metal bands on it, but sat comfortably in her hand, Janelle took off the metal cap off of one of the middle sized balls, and it immediately shot up into the air like a rocket, moments passed before it came back down towards them. With Lily at the ready, she hit the ball, causing it to fly at the statue that is over the roof of the entrance that they came through just moments ago, it's holding arms up with two swords in its hands, clashing them together. The ball cleanly went through the opening over its head and below the hands, "Woah! Well done Snow! You'd make a fair Beater." Janelle looked where the ball went and looked a bit alarmed when she saw that it was coming back again, "Uh-oh." Was all she said before she braced herself, it landed right into her hands and body, but it was trying to escape so Janelle had to use her entire body to try to get it back in the trunk and put the metal cap back over the ball once more. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" asked Lily with such a fascinated tone in her voice, but with great alarmnet with what just happened. "A Bludger, nasty little buggers. But you," she looks up at Lily and points at her when she said "you," and continues, "are a Seeker." She goes back to the trunk and opens a shield in the middle near the top of the lid on the inside and pulls out a golden orb, "The only thing that I need you to worry about, is this." She places it in Lily's hands, "The Golden Snitch." Lily looks at it with great fascination, "What do I do with it?" "You catch it, before the other team's seeker. You catch this, and we win. Now, each team has seven players, three Chasers, two Beaters, a Keeper, and a Seeker. Any questions?" "Just one last question, you said that there are seven players, who's the other five?" Janelle looked at Lily before answering her question, "First, there's the Chasers, Noah Davidson, Nichole Summers, and Harper Jenkins. Then there's the Beaters, Damion Summers, Nichole's big brother by two months, and last, but certainly not least, Ethena Lionheart. They make up the rest of the team." Lily was more than excited to be a part of the Quidditch team for Hufflepuff, but to be in her first term at Hogwarts. Once they put the trunk back where they found it and Lily made her way back to class while Janelle went to tell the other teammates about their newest member to their team. Fred and George just caught up to Lily after finding out the news from Professor McGonagall, "Hey, well done Lily, McGonagall just told us that you are on the Quidditch team for your house, you can count on us to root for you." They said in unison, however, Lily looked at them not entirely thrilled hearing those words they just said to her, so she then asked them, "Even if it's against your own house let alone, teammates?" Fred and George looked at each other with just their eyes and softly smiled at her before speaking, "We'll still be rooting for you in our hearts." Lily was a bit taken back by that response to her question. "Well, that wasn't exactly what I was expecting for an answer from the both of you. But, how can you say something like that, especially to someone you barely know? I mean, yes, we clicked almost immediately when we first arrived, but, naturally, I don't think friendships or relationships should progress THIS fast. It's almost, well, as if it were a spell or charm, or SOMETHING, I don't know. But, what I DO know, is that you shouldn't rebel and not root for your team if I am going against them. It's like Professor McGonagall said that first night we were going to be sorted into our houses, they are like our family, and we shouldn't turn our backs on them, even if it isn't externally. I mean, being friends is one thing, but to root for someone on the opposite team, it's like-" She couldn't quite finish her sentence because she realized the time by the sun casting shadows, "BUTTER BISCUITS! Come on, we have Potions next and if we aren't there in time we won't hear the end of it from Professor Snape, not to mention, the Slytherins!" With that they hurriedly made their way to the next class.
