Fred and George finally got to the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey walked up to them at a fast pace for she saw Lily unconscious, "Oh, dear, here, lay her here upon this bed." George did what she instructed and gently placed Lily onto the mattress, Madam Pomfrey placed the covers on her, then looked at the twins, "What exactly happened to her?" She asked with such great concern in her voice, then Fred said, "She passed out from deep exhaustion, for you see, she found out today about some tragic news about her parents that was kept from her for so long, that she didn't take it very well. She had cried herself to sleep but she forced herself to awaken so she would be able to make it to class. We were in the Great Hall when she fell unconscious, since we are in different houses, we really didn't have much of a choice but to bring her here. Also, we were worried that she wouldn't let herself rest properly if we left her alone, so-" Madam Pomfrey nodded and smiled kindly at the boys, "You made a wise decision in leaving her here in my care, don't worry, she'll be well rested here. Now I'll notify her professors that is isn't fitted to attend class tomorrow and we will most certainly go from there. Now, you two can visit her tomorrow, but for now, let her sleep, as you said, she most definitely needs it." She ushered them out and watched over Lily while she slept for the rest of the day, which is the longest sleep she has had and deserved in such a long time. Madam Pomfrey grabbed some bread, pumpkin juice, mixed vegetables, and some chicken from the Grand Hall if Lily woke up during the night and got hungry or thirsty. But, the hours rolled by, it was as if time had slowed down for Lily while she slept, but in fact, the hours were slipping away from her. Fred and George visited their sleeping sister whenever they could, but grew more frantic when they saw no change in Lily of arising from her deep slumber.
