They were able to reach Charms without anyone seeing them enter and exit the shortcuts to the classroom even with them running the whole way. They walked into the classroom with seconds left until the lesson started, "Welcome you three, glad you could join us, however, I must say, you were cutting it extremely close." Professor Flitwick exclaimed. "Very sorry Professor Flitwick, it was all my fault for holding Fred and George up, but I assure you, it won't happen again, sir. So please, don't be cross with them, sir." Lily explained, Fred and George were more than willing to take the fall with her, but Lily responded extremely quickly, she wasn't entirely wrong though. Lily's words surprised Flitwick, for not many students would take the blame and admit that it was their actions that got the others into trouble. In this case, almost in trouble, seeing and hearing her words made him smile. "I appreciate you being honest and straightforward with me. That takes a lot of courage and responsibility to come forth and admit that it was your actions that made your friends take the fall as well. Therefore, you three won't be punished for you arrived in the nick of time. However, please don't make it a habit to these close calls. You three may take your seats now and we shall begin with today's lesson." His reassuring words made Lily able to drop her shoulders a bit. "Absolutely won't happen again sir, you have my word professor." With that, they took their seats without another word. "Now students, for today's lesson we will be learning the wrist movement once you get it down, you will start performing Wingardium Leviosa, which is a spell of levitation. Now, you need to just swish and flick the wrist, like so." He said, pulling out his wand, he has a feather in his hand, says, "Wingardium Leviosa" with a swish and a flick, the feather starts to float as he moves his wand a bit the feather goes higher. "Now, it's your turn to give the wrist movement a try." The students start working on the wrist movements over their feathers, but none of them went up in the air. Fred and George were kind of having some trouble with this charm as well, they then looked at Lily and noticed that she isn't trying to do the spell. "Lily, how come you aren't trying to do this spell?" questioned George and without a word of explanation she picks up her wand. "Wingardium Leviosa." Her feather starts to float in the air and she slowly raises her wand and the feather steadily goes up to the ceiling. "Oh! Well done! See here everyone, Ms. Snow's done it!" Professor Flitwick exclaimed with full pride and joy then said, "Well done my dear. You deserve an 'Outstanding'." Once everyone was dismissed from the class Lily started packing her things, "How in the world are you this good at the classes so far? First with potions and now charms." Fred was amazed and astounded by how quickly Lily is getting through the lessons. "Oh, well, to be honest, I'm not really sure myself, but I promise you, I'm not trying to show off or anyth-" "Could have fooled us!" The voice was heard from behind Lily that interrupted her from finishing her sentence. "Oh no! I know that voice from earlier this morning." Lily thought and slowly turned around, low and behold, it was the same red-headed Slytherin student that had her surrounded earlier today. "Please, I don't want to cause any more trouble so please just leave me alone miss." Lily tried to not stutter or show fear in her tone. "Well, look at who's trying to act tough, considering what happened this morning, or are you trying to act tough in front of these two boys?" She gave Lily a devilish and evil smile after she mentioned Fred and George. "I am trying to act tough for myself not because I am around my brothers." Lily snapped back, but didn't raise her voice. "Well, look at you. Trying to act all tough, but not a really smart move considering you are supposed to be the brightest witch of our generation." Remarked the Slytherin student. "Look, I don't know what your deal is with our little sister, but, you should have learned your lesson from Professor Snape when you and your two buddies surrounded her three -to-one when she didn't want to fight or get herself into trouble. Yet, you and your friends decided to pursue harassing her, maybe you will learn that same lesson when Professor Flitwick gets involved." Fred and George stepped into the conversation and in front of Lily as if they are protecting her. Professor Flitwick saw that there was a lot of tension around the group of students and decided to intervened. "What do you think you are doing to Ms. Snow, Mr. Weasley, and Mr. Weasley, Ms. Gweniver? Causing trouble again no doubt." "Oh no professor, I'm not causing any trouble here. I'm just amazed how fast Lily is getting through these lessons." Genevieve Gweniver lied through her teeth as she said that and Professor Flitwick caught on that she was lying with her tone, body language, and more importantly, her attitude towards Lily. "Well, even so, I heard what Mr. Weasley said about you harassing Ms. Snow earlier today. Five points will be taken from the Slytherin house. You are dismissed Ms. Gweniver." Flitwick said with such disappointment to Genevieve and she left with a scoff then he turned to the trio and smiled and said, "I wish you two gentlemen hadn't resorted to threats, however you only did it to protect Ms. Snow. I am proud that you three didn't start a fight even when she had already caused mischief with Ms. Snow. Five points to each of you Mr. Weasley and Mr. Weasley, however as for Ms. Snow, who not only encountered Ms. Gweniver once, but twice in the last few hours, ten points to Hufflepuff! Now, you three should head to your next class before you're late." "Yes sir and thank you so much sir!" Lily said happily and all three of them left the classroom heading to Transfiguration before lunch or having a break between the classes.
