A wave of spiritual energy spread from Lord Rina's palm across the desert, lifting up the top layer of sand.
The desert erupted in multiple explosions and the party protected their faces as sand and dirt erupted, flying about everywhere.
The ripple of effect caused by Lord Rina's spiritual energy was strong but not overly so and those who knew Lord Rina well would know he had restrained his destructive spiritual energy by almost half it's true force.
Lord Rina had studied the pattern of the sinking sand, although he could not quite understand it, he could predict the point beneath the earth where he was certain he had sensed General Edgar's presence.
