Red clenched her fists and tried to hold herself back from attacking the jealous fiancée.
Did she just accuse Red that she lied?
It was true that Red and Ari weren't allowed to have any romantic relationships and that still holds true up until the end of the seven trials. She assumed Philline already knew that and Red just stated facts.
Ari and her didn't have anything she should be jealous about. And that went both ways too!
"I said, future queen, know your place." Philline hissed in her ear. "I am his fiancée, and you are not allowed to have feelings for your warrior."
So, she did know about the rules!
"I will break you apart if you dare to steal Arikyer from me." She whispered cunningly.
Ari was about to open the door to his room when he heard a sudden blast behind him. He turned his head and witnessed that Red was already enveloped in her own flames whereas Philly spread a giant fan she summoned while a circle of fire around her feet danced.
