"Yes, a maid handed it over to me when I was about to search for you." Red replied as she heaved and switched the bag to another hand. Her right arm was sore already and is about to go to sleep.
"Leaving so soon, queen candidate? I had thought you would've wanted to discuss more about Kleister Lakschmidt." Amihan said, still inside his drawing room.
Red whipped her head and her long strawberry curls swished. She glared at Ari and he scratched his head in a shy and apologetic way.
"You told your father about Kleister and grandmama's journal?" she shout-whispered at him.
"You still need to learn a lot about body language and it's advantage to keeping a secret, queen candidate. Ari knows that and I believe you will need to master it as you are forced to mingle with the nobilities during the Midsummer Festival." Amihan said as he exited the room.
