Angra is currently trying to imitate how the shield break skill worked, he gathered a massive amount of fire mana to his right hand and used fire fusion on his body so that the mana imbalance will be more tolerable for his body. And his body is already used to containing mana ever since he was very little.
Gathering the huge amount of mana is the least important problem that Angra has to deal with when trying to recreate the shield break skill, he also needed to figure out how the mana invades the other person's body and overloading it causing the explosion from the incapabilities of the body to hold the overflow of mana.
'Faust? Can you hear me?'
'Loud and clear. Do you need any help?'
'Ah, there's this skill I want to recreate and there is some part that I can't figure out on my own, want to give me a hand...or a brain?'
'Sure!'
'So how the skill works are by condensing a lot of mana into a certain part of your body then when the attack hits the enemy, the mana contained will overflow into the opponents and damage the enemy with the massive amount of mana injected to them.'
'Ah I see, so the hard part should be injecting all that mana simultaneously into the opponent's body right?'
'Yup.'
'Why don't you try this, first just condense the mana into your right hand.'
'Already done, I even used elemental mana to make it more interesting.'
'Then make a pointy edge at the front of your fist that will be the point of impact of the attack.'
'Okay, next?'
'Just imagine it as a syringe. When your attack hits and penetrates the enemy, just imagine all that mana going through that syringe straight into the enemy's body.'
'Ah okay, I will try it.'
'Don't forget to picture the image of the mana going through the pointy part clearly Gra, conjuring needs a very clear image, the more accurate you portray it, the better the result will be.'
'Yes, thank you for the advice.'
'And can you handle the mana imbalance? Infusing too much elemental mana in a certain part of your body is dangerous, you know?'
'Don't worry it's bearable.'
'Okay, good luck Gra.'
Although he is able to hold the huge mana imbalance from using elemental mana instead of attributeless mana, it still hurts for him. Since the first time Angra used fire attribute, this is the first time in this world that he felt a burning pain in his body, fire fusion makes him practically immune to fire spells let alone normal fire used for cooking. A normal fire had no chance to hurt him, except right now where he forcefully inserted not a healthy amount of fire mana into his right fist.
Angra then did as Faust said, and shaped the fire mana on his knuckles into spikes. There will be 4 spikes or syringes as Faust said that will be transferring the huge amount of fire mana from his right fist into his opponent. Now his preparations are complete and the only thing left to do is to imagine the mana transferring through the spikes.
Seeing that now the boss is also done with his preparation with the skill, the only thing left to do is to clash against each other and see whose skill is stronger. It should be the boss's because he is assisted by the system, but Angra gambled on the fact that he is talented in magic and his brother's genius ideas to make the spell right now. Because he trusted himself and his brother, he is confident that he will win the gamble.
The 2 people looked at each other and nodded as a sign that it was time. They dashed forward with all their might and winding up their fist before their fist clashing against each other.
'Syringe ! Syringe ! Syringe !' Angra repeated the word in his mind over and over as he remembered Faust's advice to make a clear picture of how he wants to influence the mana.
When their fist collided against each other, Angra felt the clashing of mana in his right hand that he felt that his right hand was about to burst. He keeps repeating the word 'syringe' and releases all the fire attribute mana in his right fist into the boss's right fist.
The more aggressive nature of fire mana triumphs over the attributeless mana, and Angra's condensed fire mana successfully invades the boss's right fist. The thing that should have happened if Angra used the same shield break skill as the boss is that the boss's right fist should have exploded from the inside, destroying his arm's skin, bones, and muscles. But what happened instead was, the fire mana traveled even further inside the boss's body.
The aggressive fire mana burned the boss's body starting from his right fist and traveled to his head and the other parts of his body. The flame spreads swiftly through the boss's body more like gasoline when ignited rather than the slow-burning oil. And the actual force of the initial punch launched the boss's now burning body straight back to the death mana wall, ensuring his death.
-3rd job human killed-
-Level Up!-
-Condition fulfilled, Shield Break unlocked-
-Deeper applications of the skill detected, the skill Shield Break upgraded to Elemental Armor Break-
Angra then walked up to the burnt corpse and buried the boss's body as a sign of respect for his first tough human opponent.
'Faust, I'm done here.'
'Alright, can you help me clean up the death mana?'
'Sure' Angra said before absorbing the death mana that covered the wall. Faust only used a thin layer of death mana so Angra was able to absorb most of it, and the little remaining bits that Angra wasn't able to absorb are scattered around as thin as possible to the surrounding area. After the death mana is gone, Faust deconstructs the earth wall back to the ground.
'Now that everything is done, Should we report to dad? He should already know that they are defeated right?'
'I think we should, and the next part of the plan also requires dad to be with us.'
'Okay then let's go.'
They went upstairs out of the basement and walked out of the house. After that Faust told Eleora to stay with Angra while he flew up to report to his dad that they had done the mission successfully.
"So Angra, the next part of the plan is for you guys to pretend that you guys 'just' saved me from the kidnappers' base right?"
"Ah, yes that's the plan. But I don't know the details, Faust and Leader are the ones who think about that complicated stuff."
Eleora stayed quiet for a while, she seems to want to ask Angra something, but it looks like she didn't have the courage to. Since Angra is bored from waiting for Faust and his dad, he then took the initiative then asked,
"What is it?"
"What?"
"What do you want to know, I'll answer it as long as I can."
"Umm… Can you please tell me how are you both so strong? You are able to defeat all those people by yourselves and you guys didn't even flinch when cutting their heads and seeing all the blood splattered all around the place. How is that possible?"
"I don't really know how to answer that question, but I guess we both have been through a lot? And when you have been doing things for years, you will eventually get used to it. You're still a kid so take your time slowly and be strong, you said that you wanted to join us right? You still have lots of time, so do it right."
"..."
"What? All the things I've said are true, and you better work hard if what you said about joining us is not just you casually babbling nonsense."
"Ah, it's not that."
"Then what?"
"The way you talked is just like my father, are you actually an old man?"
"..."
Angra stayed silent when asked that question and just silently waits for Faust and Mark to come and pick them up.
"Hey, you're not actually mad are you? Come on, I'm just kidding Gra."
"No"
"Why are you answering me with only one word? You really are angry are you?"
"No"
"You're definitely angry!"
When Eleora was about to bug Angra with more questions, the long-awaited Faust and Mark finally arrived.
"Nice job kids! Now let's proceed to the last part of the mission then finish the job."
Faust noticed something in Angra's face and asked
'Is there something wrong, Gra?'
'Not really, but I think that less talking is better for me'
'?'
Faust tried to ask more about what happened but Angra didn't give him any further details.
After they walk back to the kidnappers' base all that's left to do is to burn the house down to minimize leaving any unnecessary evidence.
"Do you want to do it, Faust?" Mark asked
"Sure! A small explosion should do it right?"
Faust then condensed fire attribute mana and encased it inside a solid magic ball and then layered condensed wind attribute mana around it so that the fire will spread all around the house when it explodes. Faust threw his own version of the napalm bomb inside the house and released the solid magic frame that was holding the bomb from exploding.
The condensed fire mana quickly exploded releasing burning flames inside the house and the wind attribute mana helped to supply the fire with more oxygen and helped carry the flame all over the house, resulting in the house completely in flames even in the nook and cranny of the house.
The explosions caused a loud *boom* to be heard across the village, and the bright light from the fire makes it very noticeable where the fire is coming from.
"Now that everything is complete, let's go bring you back home, Eleora."
