"What's taking your brother and father so long? Did Aiden fall asleep after I told him to wake up your dad?" Lily muttered.
"Should I check on them, mom?" Isaac replied
"Don't need to, if they don't come down in 10 minutes we'll just take a bigger portion for our breakfast."
"Alright, mom!"
But sadly Isaac didn't get his bigger portion because Mark and Aiden finally came down after 5 minutes. Isaac looked at his brother and father, and sees that his father got a bruise on his left foot so he asked,
"What's up with the bruise dad?"
"Ah, it's not really a bruise. I think it's cooked."
"Wait what?"
"Your brother is quite extreme when waking me up," Mark said with a tired face while pointing at Aiden.
"I thought that dad's strong body won't be affected by such weak heat."
"I mean, it will disappear on its own after a few days, but it just looked bad on me." Mark shrugged
"Okay that's enough boys, it's time for breakfast. Today's breakfast was made with Isaac's help and he said from now on, he will help me cook every day, don't you two want to help me in the morning too?" Lily said while looking at Mark and Aiden.
"Early morning? I want to, but I need to save my energy to go hunting for magic beasts." Mark said while coughing and making a tired face.
"Mark, hunting those rank 1 and rank 2 magic beasts is as easy as flipping your palm, what are you tired about? And you Aiden what's your reason?" Lily retorted
"Isaac said that we are still a child and need 12 hours of sleep every day, I need to listen to Isaac's advice," Aiden said while looking away.
"Isaac, where did you get that knowledge from?" Lily asked Isaac with a confused look.
"Ah mom, about that, I, I only know that a lot of sleep is good so I randomly muttered that number," Isaac said with an awkward smile on his face.
"Says who? You only need to sleep well at night and wake up the next morning, no need to time how many hours you go to sleep." Lily said.
Faust was about to debate using scientific facts and the benefits of enough sleep especially for growing children, but he remembered his circumstances right now so he decided to just be quiet and agree with his mom.
"So what are you three going to do today?"
"We will help dad go hunting and go to the village again, I think," Isaac replied.
"Yes, I think that's what we will do. The people in the village liked them, you know? They got a lot of free stuff yesterday from the vegetable lady and the butcher man and Isaac also told me he got bonus beef skewers from one of the stalls, maybe being a cute kid has its own perks." Mark said.
"Just do what you want to do, but make sure you guys don't get into any trouble this time, you don't need to get involved into troubles every day," Lily said while staring at them as a reminder and half-scolding them.
"Yes, of course, we won't be making any or be involved in any trouble, rest assured mom." Mark said
"Okay then finish your breakfast first before you go hunting."
"Yes ma'am!" The three of them replied.

"So, dad, what should we hunt today?"
"Anything is fine today since we still had the magic beasts from yesterday's hunt that your mom preserved with ice magic. So today, you can just hunt one or two magic deer or boar and hunt some rank 2 magic beast for leveling up."
"Can we just hunt rank 3 magic beasts now dad?"
"About that, I actually want to send you guys into a hunting mission in the forest for a few days, to hunt several types of rank 3 magic beasts, it will be a good experience for you guys to learn how to go on an expedition and camping in the forest."
"Really dad!? When are we going? Will you be going with us?"
"How about the day after tomorrow? You will use the whole day tomorrow to prepare and set out early the next morning. And by the way, I'm sorry, but I can't go with you guys since there is some stuff that I need to get done and that's also why I'm sending you guys to hunt the magic beasts to get the materials I need."
"It's okay dad and doesn't worry! We will quickly hunt the magic beasts and fetch the materials you need." Faust said.
"Leave it to us dad," Aiden added.
"Thank you, boys, but for now, let's focus on our hunt."
"Yes dad, I already located several magic deer and magic boar near us so rest easy."
'That damn spirit tracking system is really enviable… Should I pick a spiritualist job if it ever pops up in my available jobs list next time?' Mark thought. So far, his jobs are all combat-oriented and there's only one job which is a semi-supportive job called hunter that helps him search for animals' tracks, but it turns out Isaac's way of doing things is way more efficient than his and every time he sees how good it is to be able to control spirits, he felt kind of jealous, but he knew that he is no good at that sort of stuff, that's why he is supporting Isaac, his son who has a talent, to be a great necromancer.
"Ah, okay then let's capture them and bring them back home to prepare them for selling."

Back at home, at the butchering shack, Aiden is currently doing a splendid job skinning the magic deer that they just brought from the hunt while Isaac said that he wanted to try something that may help him to skin the animal better.
"Isaac, I believe you already know this, but whatever magic experiment you're about to do, please do as little damage as possible to the animal's body since the one in bad conditions can't be sold."
"Don't worry dad, the very worst thing that could happen is the meat exploding and torn into pieces. There must be a sacrifice for a great cause dad!"
"Please do it outside so that the explosion or whatever spell you conjure won't ruin another game."
"Alright, dad." Isaac then brought with him a knife and the magic boar that they just hunted, with its blood already drained and its insides gutted outside of the shack to do his experiment. The only thing left to do to the game is to skin it for it to be able to be sold. But if Isaac messes up the skinning and ruins the meat below, depending on the damage it may be unsellable or the price will be cut off.
After making sure that there's nothing around him that can be broken by his magic experiment, Isaac then sealed off the cut from the gutting process earlier by gluing the two parts together using earth magic. Isaac made sure that the two parts were glued together nicely and not easily separated, he then put his hand covering the boar's neck at the part where it was cut to drain the boar's blood.
He tightened his grip on the neck before conjuring wind magic to go through the part between the skin and the meat of the boar. The wind traveled throughout the boar's body, bloating up the skin like a balloon and at the same time, separating the skin from the meat part of the boar. Now that the skin is fully separated from the meat part, Isaac stopped injecting wind magic to the boar's body, and he reached for his skinning knife to swiftly cut open the boar's skin that was now bloated up like a balloon.
He made one very swift cut at the boar's back to prevent the air inside from leaking out before he finished that one cut. After he successfully cuts open that part, the rest is easy because he only needs to widen the cut part, since the skin is already separated from the meat using the wind magic, Isaac can just pull the skin away from the meat to prevent him from cutting too deep and ruining the meat under. And then he can pull out the skin away from the meat as if the skin was a clothing and the meat is the body.
Happy that his experiment succeeded, Isaac then brought out his skinned boar and the skin to his father and brother who was at the sack preparing the other meat.
"Dad, Aiden, look at this!" Isaac said while holding up the boar's skin on his left hand and floated up the skinned boar meat using magic with his right hand.
Aiden and Mark, who were busy themselves, looked at Isaac who was at the front door already done preparing his game. Mark then comes up to him to check on his work. Mark looked at the skinned boar and couldn't find any cut mark on its body besides the cut on its neck and belly from the blood draining and gutting process.
"This is incredible Isaac! How did you do it?" Mark asked
"Hehehe, I use a little magic! So how you do it is.."
Isaac then proceeds to explain the entire thing to Mark and Aiden who are listening closely because they are curious how Isaac is able to improve this good this fast.
"Ah, Isaac, you're cheating," Aiden grumbled.
Isaac wanted to retort Aiden, but this time Aiden is right, he cheated using magic so he just said,
"Well, creativity and control in magic is also part of my skill, right? So I'm allowed to use magic to do this!"
"Still, if you always rely on magic for everything, your body will deteriorate faster! You need to exercise and use your body more, Isaac!" Aiden rebutted.
"Oi, who said that I never use my body!"
"Enough kids, you two did a great job and that's what matters. Now let's go to the village!"
