The mutant's attention was solely focused on Kira, who was lying unconscious. When Herro rushed, he shouted to taunt the mutant and direct its attention towards himself.
The mutant turned it's head and saw Herro was rushing in his direction while having two katanas in both of his hands.
Herro was still wearing his red armor as he rushed towards the mutant. It didn't hinder his movement, since it was lightweight and it was designed for being comfortable, even if the user moves a lot.
Then the mutant roared towards Herro and started walking towards his direction as it dragged its right foot.
Then he was not five meters away from the mutant. He could see clearly that the mutant had many wounds on its body and a deep stab wound on its waist.
The mutant raised its claws and swung it at Herro. Herro stopped running and slid, evading the mutant's attack. He was now under the mutant.
Then he used his katana to stab the mutant's heart, but the mutant moved sidewards and he was only able to stab its lungs.
Then the mutant hops to get away from Herro. Seeing that his attack failed, he stood up and didn't give the mutantthe upper hand in their fight, so he took the initiative to attack it.
The mutant didn't raise its arm, but he pulled it back and used a sweep attack. Herro who gained strength points was now stronger than before. He jumped and evaded the sweep attack. He was now in front of the face of the mutant. Then he pulled back both of his arms to prepare for a strong stab attack. Then he stabs both of the eyes of the mutant, blinding it.
From his observation of a few Animes he watched before, it is better to remove the sense of sight of a bigger enemy to guarantee to win a battle.
Now that the mutant is blind and was not able to see a single thing, It started to brandish its claws aimlessly. He was just brandishing it so that Herro would not be able to get near to it.
Herro walks around the mutant to find an opening for his finishing blow. But the mutant's sense of hearing was so strong that even if Herro is tiptoeing on his steps, he would be able to hear it and brandished its claws towards Herro.
"This will be tough." Without the sense of sight, the mutant was focusing its everything towards its sense of hearing.
Then a sudden idea entered Herro's mind. He leaned down and picked up a large stone. Then he threw it above the mutant. The mutant didn't react to a stone that flew above it. But when it landed, it created a loud thud that caught its attention.
He faced the direction where the stone landed and swept its vicious-looking claws.
NOW! It was the right time to make a move. Herro, with his twin katana, ran towards the mutant as soon as the stone landed.
The mutant has no time to react and his back was open. Herro brandished his sword and wounded its Popliteal fossa or the back of the knee.
With its popliteal fossa suffering from a deep wound, the mutant was not able to support its body and it slumped down on the ground.
Its right leg was fractured and the left leg was also wounded on a critical point, so he was not able to get up at all.
Herro used this chance to pounce on its back and stabbed its nape. Since it was a living creature, it needed to breathe, so as he stabbed its neck, he hit is throat unknowingly resulting in its death. Then a blue notification panel appeared in front of him saying,
"Katana skill-leveled up to Beginner level."
Then Herro realized that he didn't even qualify as a beginner before. Then he smiled, knowing that his mastery skill had leveled up.
With the mutant dead, he realized a deep sigh of relief. He was about to use absorb it when he remembered Kira.
"SHIT!" Then he jumped hurriedly off the back of the mutant and rushed towards Kira, who was lying down there on the ground unconsciously.
When he reached Kira, he saw a large, gaping, slashed wound that came from a claw. It must be that sh*tty mutant.
He was so shocked when he saw it and in addition to his zero medical knowledge, he didn't know what to do.
"Maybe she has some medicine, like before that healed me." Then he checked her backpack if there was such medicine or pill in it, but he failed to find some.
His face was filled with worriedness and nervousness towards the dire situation Kira was suffering.
Even though Kira almost killed him, he was still saved because of her.
Then a thought came into his head: "The pill that I took was her last pill? No wonder she deliberated it for some time before giving it to me.
Herro, who was foreign in this world, was so helpless when facing such a situation. And since he has zero medical knowledge, he didn't know if it was a good thing to carry her or let her just lie in there.
Kira also mentioned it before that the BES upgrade their body, so maybe regeneration was included in that upgrade. But form Herro's perspective, even how fast that regeneration might be, it won't be fast enough to heal Kira's wound before she dies form: Exsanguination, or excessive loss of blood.
"If I can only transfer the effect of the absorption to Kira's body, so she will benefit from regeneration and heal her wounds," then he shook his head, ignoring the idea.
Then something came to his head: "Wait, I gained a skill from using Katana, so if I just focused enough, it is not possible to transfer it to her, right?" Then, without deliberating it any longer, he slowly placed his hands on Kira's back slowly and carefully. Then he slowly lifted her and walked carefully towards where the mutant's corpse.

Then he placed his left hand in the mutant's corpse and his right hand above Kira's wound. Kira flinched in pain, but she is still unconscious.
Then Herro started to activate Absorption in his left hand—he could feel his palm sucking the corpse slowly. It travels to his body with a warm sensation. He didn't feel this sensation before because he never concentrated on absorption and was only relying on the automatic cast of the skill.
Then he controlled the warm sensation inside his body and directed it towards his right palm. Then, when the energy was in his palm, he slowly poured it to Kira's stomach, where the wound was deep.
His eyes were closed all the time as the process was ongoing. He was not bothered by the thought of zombies attacking him while he was doing the energy transfer, because the mutant was so strong and big, causing the zombies to instinctively avoid going near even though it is already a corpse.

Then he opened his eyes and looked on his left where the corpse was located and he saw that it had vanished completely, as if it was not there in the first place.
This skill is indeed good at disposing of corpses. I can use this if I'm going to assassinate someone in the future. Herro happily thought on his head.
Then he suddenly remembered Kira and immediately shifted his head towards his right and saw Kira, who was still lying unconsciously. He noticed that the deep slash wound was not already at her stomach. He was happy and contented with what he did.
Then a blue notification panel appeared in front of his sight saying, "A new skill created AET(Absorption Effect Transfer). This skill allows its user to transfer the effect of absorption towards another target.
He smiled after reading the skill description. It was indeed what he hoped for.
I can create skills based on what I am performing or doing! He happily exclaimed on his head.
After a while, he slowly shook Kira to wake her up. Then Kira slowly opens her eyes, with hard difficulty.
Then when she finally opened her eyes, she saw Herro looking at her excitedly. Then, after realizing that the mutant had attacked her, she pushed her self, slowly using her arms. Then she asked Herro hurriedly, "Where did the mutant go?!" Then she clutched her head because it suddenly hurt.
Then Herro said, "I already killed it, sin--- AHHHHHHHH!" Before he could finish his sentence and brag about his achievement, he suddenly shouts in shock, as his eyes also widened while pointing his fingers at Kira's hands.
Then Kira stared at him confusedly: "Why are you so shocked?" Then she saw Herro pointing his fingers at her hands.
Then she slowly removed her hand that is holding her head and said," Why are you so shocked at my ha--- AHHHHHHH!!"
