It seems to confirm what Ye Qiao had said, as the courtyard was soon filled with the miserable barking of a dog.
Su Tang recognized it as a cry for help.
Glancing through the window—
A white tiger, slightly larger than the dog, was baring its teeth and snarling at it.
The dog's tail was tightly tucked, and upon closer inspection, all four of its legs were trembling, its eyes were bulging enormously, and its voice was pitch-shifted.
Little Gaiya, transformed into the little white tiger, charged forward with a grunt, and the dog yelped in terror and began to sprint wildly around the courtyard.
Seeing this, Little Gaiya became even more excited in the chase.
Su Tang drew her gaze back and smiled at Ye Qiao, "It's just children horsing around, no need to interfere, let's get cooking."
Ye Qiao sighed, casting a somewhat pitying glance out the window at the dog, and said no more.
