Day Eleven.
Gaiyin carried Su Tang as usual, weaving through the Maze, with Xi closely following behind.
After they passed through a narrow, cramped corridor, a vast clearing suddenly opened up before their eyes.
Gaiyin unconsciously stopped in his tracks.
This was a huge circular clearing, surrounded on all sides by high stone walls, with three exits just like the corridor they'd come from.
This was the first time they'd encountered such a place after so many days of travel.
Su Tang's brows knitted together in thought as she patted Gaiyin's arm.
"Ayin, go to the very center and fly up to see if there is any change. I think we may have come to the heart of the Maze."
Gaiyin nodded in agreement.
Then transforming into his white tiger form, he cautiously moved upwards step by step.
He quickly reached the height where the sparrow had been struck before, but he didn't feel any obstruction and continued ascending.
