The following day.
The sunlight pierced through the clouds, stirring the slumbering Beastmen from their sleep.
They rose from their dreams, forming groups to bathe together, gradually filling the valley with vivacity. Everywhere, laughter and cheerful words resounded, and everything brimmed with vitality.
Su Tang woke up early that day, simmering porridge on the stove with a slow fire.
Gaiyin was awakened by the rich aroma of the rice. Starving, he got up and saw Erha sitting next to the stove, drooling, with Su Tang seeming to be scolding it for something.
Gaiyin rubbed his eyes and approached in a daze, "Sister-in-law, why didn't you wake me up?"
Su Tang turned her head with a smile," You're up? Go wash your face by the river, and you can eat when you are back."
Gaiyin nodded. After he washed his face and returned, he was much more awake.
Looking around, he asked in confusion, "Hey, where did Brother go?"
