Gu Kai agreed with his point of view, but, think of Ranran tearing up and saying she wanted to come back, his heart tightened.
The sudden ringing of his phone interrupted what he wanted to say. Gu Kai took out his phone and saw the incoming call. A curve of joy tugged at the corner of his mouth. He pressed the answer key and started, gentle and full of warmth, "Ranran."
"Bro, where are you guys?"
Over the phone, Wen Ran's voice came through clear and crisp, tinged with faint sounds of commotion.
Gu Kai replied with a chuckle, "Ah Jin, Ah Feng, and I are at Yi Pin Xuan Pavilion. Ranran, have you finished your movie?"
Glancing at his watch, it was nearly ten o'clock. His phone ringing most likely meant they had finished a movie.
As expected, Wen Ran happily replied over the phone, "Bro, we've just come out of the theater. We'll head over to Yi Pin Xuan to find you guys, which floor are you on?"
