SAM'S POV
My instincts tells me to make a flight now bago paman ito makalapit sa'kin. And with that, I quickly make a step forward.
"Just stay where you are."
I groaned as my foot froze on the ground when the bastard firmly demanded that.
Oh God.. Couldn't he just leave me alone and just mind his own business somewhere?!
Talagang sinasagad na niya talaga ang pasensya ko!
I just kept groaning on my feet without turning around and face the bastard.
Napansin kong dumaan sa gilid ko 'yong waitress kanina. She was obviously in a haste. As if the poor woman was terrified of something. Or shall I say of someone? Someone like this stone-faced behind me?
"Hindi ka man lang ba haharap, Ms. Javier?"
That made me raised my brow when I heard that demand again from him using his usual mocking tone.
Heaving out an exasperated breath, I wheeled around and greeted him with a glare.
"What now??" I barked out whichfortunately he just answered with a bloody smirk and a raised brow. As if my reaction amuses him so much.
Can I just kill him now? Or can I atleast wipe that smirk off his face now?
"There's no need to be grumpy, woman. Alam ko kung ano na namang kalokohan ang ginagawa mo sa lugar na'to...."
That made my brow arched at that, With his tone sounding as if he was well aware of my mission here.
kung sa bagay.. Ano bang hindi pwedeng alam ng isang 'to? I'm sure menstruation period ko lang..
But we don't want to give him that satisfaction that he was right, do we?
Crossing my arms on my chest, I just shook my head before I answered.
"And why are you here again by the way?---let me guess. Nandito ka na naman para sirain ang plano ko dahil dakila ka talagang pakialamero. And probably, you are here to give me those threats again as if that would ever make me work for you. Kung alam ko lang sana na magkikita pa uli tayo, eh 'di sana nilumpo nalang kita noon pa when I still had the chance to do so."
Unfortunately, that sarcasm didn't even fazed the bastard and instead, he just scoffed at that as he pocketed his hands on his sides.
"Well, sorry to inform you na hindi na mangyayari 'yang iniisip mo, Ms. Javier."
"Oh really? Why don't we try it then?" then with that, itinaas ko na agad ang kanang paa ko and was about to injure his foot permanently but unfortunaely, he was quick to step back away from me.
And seeing that quick reflex, I smirked in amusement as I looked at him with a challenging look.
"Oh.. You had seen that coming now.. Mabilis."
"Don't even think na oobra parin sa'kin yan, Ms. Javier. Once is enough and I can never allow it to happen again." Aroganteng saad la nito with a smirk in his mouth while slightly shaking his granite head.
I straightened up on my feet while I still smirking at him in amusement.
"'ah-ah' ka rin, Mr. del Fuero. Don't even think na 'yan lang ang regalo ko para sa'yo because this time, there's still one coming for you."
Then in a swift motion, I kicked his left shin using my left foot.
"S-SShit!" he muttered under his breath when he hadn't avoided that kick. Probably he hadn't expected my left foot to do the kicking.
I just grinned up at him in satisfaction, mocking him to death. Everyone who had witnessed that were now throwing us a prying look.
"Mukhang hindi mo yata napaghandaan 'yon, Mr. del Fuero. So sorry to hit you hard there. I didn't know sensitive pala ang tuhod mo.. "
That made him growled more with his glare at me became murderous now habang hinipo-hipo nito ang tuhod nito.
"You really know how to annoy anyone, aren't you?"
"I'm well aware of that. Kaya next time na susundan mo pa'ko, I won't even hesitate to---"
"Don't be so sure na oobra pa lahat ng mga kalokohan mo gaya ngayon, Ms. Javier dahil hinding-hindi ko na hahayaang mangyayari pa 'yon!" Putol nito sa'kin with his usual rock-hard face. And this time, he was done nursing his leg.
"Don't just say it, Mr. del Fuero. Make that----"
"It's a promise, Ms. Javier. And I hadn't break any promises before so expect that to happen soon." He said with a promising voice while looking at me with an intense glare..
Well, okay. Tignan natin sa susunod...
I just shrugged at that and shook my head. As if I'd even allow that to happen.
"If you say so... so now, pwede na'ba 'kong umalis rito because I don't have much time here for a chitchat.. lalo na 'sa-yo'." I said with emphasis.
"Then you can go now.."
I should've felt grateful to hear him saying that but with how suspicious his look right now, especially with that small smirk peeking through the corner of his mouth, I don't think so.
Something is off.
For a few moment, I just stayed there and studied him closely while trying to read his thoughts.
"Ano pang hinihintay mo, Ms. Javier?I thought you don't have much time here? Bakit nakatunganga ka parin ngayon dito?" sulsol pa ng gago.
I can feel him a bit suspicious but at the thought of the chance na lumuwag na naman ang turnilyo nito, I just rolled my eyes at him and then turned around to leave.
To hell with him. I don't give-----
I suddenly stopped on my track when from here, Judge Agustos was heading to this way. My darn target was heading to this way. Shit!
Quickly glancing down at my wristwatch, I let out a curse when it says it was already 3pm and I hadn't even notice that until now..
holy shit! This was all this bastard's fault!
Looking around me with alarmed gaze, I found out na nasa labas parin pala ako ng VIP room 5 hanggang ngayon.
Goddammit! I don't have to panic. I have to find a way out from here and shit again! wala ng ibang labasan kundi sa hallway lang na dinadaanan ngayon ng target.
Groaning in frustration, I wheeled around before the target could even notice me at paharap sa gagong del Fuero with an amused look pasted on his face right now. A look which confirmed my suspicion awhile ago.
I just glared at him with clenched teeth, ready to murder him and buried him 5 feet below the septic tank!
Geez, kung pwede lang sana..Matagal ko na sana yong ginawa!
"Oh? I thought aalis kana, Ms. Javier? Have you forgot something?..." tanong pa nito with his sarcastic voice.
"You know he was here." I whisper-yelled at him. Trying to control my voice kahit gusto ko ng sakalin ito.
The bastard just shrugged at me, now wearing a satisfied smirk.
"What do you really want from me, Mr. del Fuero?" I asked him in a hiss. Annoyed with him.
"You know what I want, Ms. Javier. Work for me and be my P.I.." He said in a straightforward manner.
"No. There are other investigator out there that were much better than me so no. Stop pestering me."
"Yes. There are countless of P.I. out there na mas magaling sa'yo, Ms. Javier but I only want you." He answered without any hesitation.
Oh.. how sweet. Sweet that I hope could rotten his head!
"But then again, I don't want to. You can't make me do it."
"Why don't we just give it a try then? You'll never know. Mapapapayag pala kita ngayon mismo." Arogante pang sagot nito, sounding so confident about it.
I scoffed at that, can't believe his arogance.
"NO. You can't make me." I firmly answered with finality in my voice.
"Well...I guess, I have to talk with someone na palapit sa'tin ngayon.. I'm certain that they would want to know kung anong binabalak mo." Then he smirked as his gaze shifted back to which I think the judge, causing me to look at him with red warning in my eyes.
"Don't you dare, Mr. de---"
"Mr. del Fuero!"
I stiffened on my feet when that voice from behind me suddenly called out his name.
Oh shit! Talagang alam na alam ng gagong 'to kung pa'no kunin ang gusto nito!
I was literally shaking in rage right now. Gustong-gusto ko na talagang sakalin ito but with the target being around, all I could afford to do right now is to murder him with my glare. Lalo na't parang tuwang-tuwa pa talaga ito sa situation ko. He was obviously challenging me to speak up and threaten him.
I just balled my hands in fists, controlling myself not to punch him on his gut.
"I didn't know you're here, Mr. Del Fuero. Do you have any business..." he trailed off, obviously noticing me now.
Mr. del Fuero just smirked at me for the nth time saka tumingin ito sa likuran ko with his face back to its usual serious face.
"I have someone..." he started saka tumingin uli sa'kin, obvious na nanunuya sa'kin before he continued.
"na imemeet ko ngayon dito, Judge Agustos. That's why I'm here."
"Oh...This woman must be the one why you've came here. Tama ba'ko?"
That got me raised my brow. I can imagine him now pointing his dirty finger at me.
Yes. Ako nga 'yong 'someone' na imemeet nya rito. 'Someone' na tatapos sa katarantaduhan mo..
"No, she's not, judge Agustos.. I just happen to find this woman here doing 'something' suspicious----" then he looked at me again, challenging me to stop him sa gagawin nya.

Talagang sinadya nyang icorner ako rito to blackmail me again and leave me no other choice but to work for him!
I don't want to work for this man. Pero ayoko rin namang mabulilyaso ang misyon na'to!
"Something like spy--"
"I'll do it." I snapped with low voice but with a deadly glare and with gritted teeth.
Talagang tuwang-tuwa talaga ito aa ginagawa nito ngayon!
Hearing me, he just looked at me for a moment with furrowed brows. As if he was analyzing my answer kung seryoso ba'ko though amusement in his darn eyes was shamefully obvious.
This conniving bastard!
"Something like what, Mr. Del Fuero? What is it about?" The judge curiously asked, waiting for him to continue.
"Just something about her answer regarding with my offer, Judge Agustos."
Hearing him said that, I was able to sigh in relief dahil hindi ako binuko ng gago.
"Oh.. I thought she was your girlfriend."
That term made me rolled my eyes upward.
Girlfriend my foot! Baka girl enemy and your worst nightmare!
And I think my reaction amused the bastard because I caught a small smirk at the corner of his mouth.
"No. She's just a janitress here kaya maiwan kana muna namin dito. I still have something na irereklamo sa manager tungkol sa babaeng 'to." Then before I could even react from that, he grabbed my shoulder then dragged me away from my target.
Janitress??!!! Of all excuse na sasabihin nito, janitress talaga? Is he out of his blasted mind????
Kahit na gusto kong pilipitin ang kamay nitong nakahawak sa'kin, I stopped myself with difficulties to avoid any suspicion. Instead, hinayaan ko lang ito and just bend my head to hide my face.
But once we're outside of that place, I quickly took his hand off me saka lumayo sa kanya. A good meter distance from him.
"Janitress??!! Talagang janitress lang? Of all excuse ? Iyon talaga ang napili mong sabihin?" agad na bulyaw ko sa mukha nito, now ready to bite his head off.
The bastard just crossed his arms then raised his brow.
"So anong gusto mong sabihin ko? That you're my girlfriend?? Goodness woman! Hindi pa'ko nababaliw ano." He reasoned out while shaking his damn head.
"At mas lalong hindi pa'ko nababaliw you stupid jackass! D'you really think na 'yon yong gusto ko? Ang gusto ko lang namang sabihin sa'yo, you should've think something good excuse than me being a darn janitress!" I muttered under my breath, now heaving with anger and frustrations with this man before me.
Diyos ko! Ba't ko pa ba nakilala ang bweset na taong 'to?? Wala naman akong ibang hiningi kundi hustisya for my parents and not this shit!
He just scoffed and then answered me while shaking his head, obviously mocking me.
"Can't you just be thankful with that, can you? Mabuti nga't 'janitress' lang 'yong sinabi ko at hindi 'escort girl' na siyang lagi mong ginaga---"
"Sana nga 'yon na nga lang ang sinabi mo. That way, babango ang pangalan mo...." I hissed at him while throwing him a shuriken glare.
"Yes. You're right. I should've just said that instead. Total, hindi na yan bago sa part ko..hmm." he agreed with a nod but then smirked at me with eyes glinting in malice.
Good Lord. Is he some pervert para tumingin sa'kin ng ganyan??
Oh God. I think I'm with a sick man right now..
Not wanted to waste more time here, I blew out a sight of resignation.
"You know what. Maybe I should just talk to you later----or mas mabuting hindi na. Sinasayang mo ang oras ko." Then with thay, I turned around and started to walk to my car. Entirely ignoring his presence.
"You have no choice but to talk to me later, Ms. Javier.. or else.."
When I heard him said that, I just rolled my eyes and then get into my car.
Trust him to do what he was good at. Blackmailing anyone.
"Gumawa ka muna ng contract natin, Mr. del Fuero at tingnan natin kung mapapapayag mo ba'ko sa mga kondisyon mo. For now, I have more important things to do than talk some nonsense with you." I answered and then with that, I drove off from there.
And before I reached the first intersection in the road, I quickly pulled my car to the side and halted.
The other target must be at the restaurant by now.
Iniactivate ko na agad ang video footage sa VIP room 5 na'yon sa phone ko and my assumption was right nang makita ko na ang nakaupo na ang dalawa sa loob.
"Ano? Alam mo na ba kung sinong P.I ang kinuha nila?"
"Yes."
That made my brows furrowed.
So they already know..
"Good. Gawin mo ang dapat mong gawin just to stop that P.I."
The judge just nodded with crossed legs.
"Dinala mo ba ang kailangan ko?"
"Of course." Then agad na inilatag ni Frederico sa mesa ang suitcase na nasa tabi nito.
"Check mo muna kung kompleto.." he encouraged then leaned his back against his chair, waiting for the judge to open it.
Yes, open it judge para makita natin. Para matapos na'to.
At 'yon nga, the judge quickly complied and opened it.
And when a bundle of bills appeared inside that case, I couldn't help myself but whispered 'bingo!'.
"Good...hmm.."
"Just make sure na gagawin mo ang lahat. At tungkol sa P.I na 'yon...."
The judge smirked at that. The next words from the suspect made me listen to it with intent.
"Kung magmamatigas, dispatched it right away."
Oh.. so as I had expected, mga halang nga talaga ang bituka ng mga gagong 'to.
Well...kung 'yon ang gusto nila, tingnan nalang natin kung sino sa'min ang mauuna...
I just hope Al would be able to get an invitation card for me. Alam kong marami itong naging client noon na related in business industry. Kung may kakilala lang sana akong tao na----
I suddenly stopped with my thoughts when realization suddenly hit me on my face.

I was snapped from my thoughts nang may bigla nalang bumusina sa may bandang likuran ko.
Frowning, I glanced up at the rearview mirror to check if who the hell was that.
And the moment a bastard came out from his black car and started to walk to my car, an exasperated sigh escaped from me.
Ano naman kaya ang kailangan ng taong 'to? Why don't we just murder this man para matapos na agad ang problema ko rito?
Hindi bale'ng kailangan ko ang taong 'to para sa event mamaya..
When he knocked at my car window, I rolled the glass down and greeted him with a pointed look.
"Ano na naman?!"
"The contract, Ms. Javier.." bungad nito sabay abot ng mga papel na hawak-hawak pala nito.
Oh hell. He had really planned all this. May contract na agad- agad!
Groaning, I quickly snatched that contract from his hand without a word.
"Babasahin ko'to mamaya so you can leave now." then without waiting for his answer, I throw that contract to beside me and then started the engine again at humarurot palayo rito.
From my rearview, I could still see him followed my car with a disapproval glare.
That's right. Akala niya siguro makukuha nya agad lahat ng gusto niyang mangyari.
Shrugging, hindi ko nalang ito pinansin. Pero hindi pa'ko tuluyang nakakalayo roon, my phone suddenly rang, nagring ang phone ko. I quickly received that call then turned it to a loudspeaker.
"I'm sorry, Sam. I failed. Wala akong ibang mahanap to get an invitation for you." Sa boses palang nito, I know he was sorry.
I sighed saka sumagot rito. Maybe ako na dapat ang gumawa ng paraan nito.
"Don't worry, Al. You have done enough para tulungan ako. Ako ng bahala."
"But---"
"May nahanap na'kong makakatulong sa'kin."
Pero 'di ko lang alam kung tutulungan ba'ko ng taong 'to.
Bahala na si Batman, nandiyan naman si super granite man.
"Sino?"
"Basta. Bye for now." then I ended that call and then pulled my car to the side again. I quickly got out of my car and ran back to where he was.
Nakatalikod na ito ngayon while talking on his phone.
Kailangang niyang pumayag sa gusto ko kung gusto nyang pirmahan ko ang kontratang 'yon.
"Liam, are you sure na sa kanya ang number na'yon----"
He suddenly stop talking when be senses my presence. Agad nitong ibinaba ang phone nito saka kunut-noong humarap sa'kin. Probably wondering why I've came back.
"I have some condition na gusto kong isali sa kontrata natin, Mr. Del Fuero." bungad ko agad rito, not wanted to waste a second for any greetings because I only have a few hours left for that event.
"Condition? at ano naman kayang condition 'yon, Ms. Javier?"
"Be my date tonight sa event na ihahandle ng ECC mamaya."
Mas lalo pang kumunot ang noo nito dahil doom.
Well, of course. ECC 'yon and his arch enemy in business industry.
"And what made you think na pupunta ako sa event na 'yon, Ms. Javier?"
"All business-related people were invited to attend to that event and you are one of those so no doubt na kasali ka dun, Mr. Del Fuero." I stated in a 'matter-of-factly' manner.
He just nodded his head at that aka ito sumagot.
"Yes, you're right. Kasama nga 'ko sa mga invited. Pero pa'no ka naman nakakasigurong aattend ako sa walang kwentang event na 'yon mamaya? I've no interest in events like that."
That got me raised my brow.
Such a cold hearted man he was!
Of course, helping people wasn't his cup of tea. Saving some cents is.
Wala rin namang alam gawin ang isang 'to kundi manggamit ng ibang tao.
"Before signing the contract, dapat mo ring iconsider lahat ng hinihingi kong kondisyon sa'yo, Mr. Del Fuero and that even was one of that. Hindi naman siguro lahat nalang ng gusto mo ang masusunod dito, hindi ba?? There must be a give and take in this contract."
He frowned then hardened his face. Probably murdering me in his mind.
For a few moment, tahimik lang ito habang nakikipagtitigan sa'kin with his usual murderous eyes.
Nakaarko lang ang kilay ko habang hinihintay naman ang sagot nito.
And after a few moment of just looking at me, he finally sighed then groaned.
Probably frustrated by it.
"Okay....." he finally said kahit halata sa mukha nito na napipilitan lang.
Good boy!
I just smirked at him, satisfied with his answer.
"But-"
I looked at him, waiting for him to continue.
"But what??"
I took an alarming step back nang bigla nalang itong lumapit sa'kin, leaving just a foot away from me.
I furrowed my brows, wondering kung anong gagawin nito.
"I want you to sign the contract right away, Ms. Javier. Time is ticking."
I just rolled my eyes at that.
Akala ko pa naman kung ano. My choice pa ba ko to say no?
"Just give me enough time para tapusin ang case ko ngayon. I won't run kaya kumalma ka lang."
He nodded his head then smirked.
"Good. I'll pick---"
"Cam???!!! yuhooo??? sagot-sagot ka naman diyan 'pag may time!!!say hi naman kay Ms. Javier for me.."
He groaned when he heard that in his phone na nasa kamay nito.
I didn't know na hindi nya pa pala naputol ang tawag na'yon kanina.
"Talk to you later---"
"Kita tayo sa entrance later tonight." Putol ko na sa kanya knowing that he was still busy with that call saka tumakbo na'ko pabalik sa sasakyan ko.
