Chapter 6 - Pull the Black Wall

SAINT HAROLD HIGH SCHOOL

THE school principal indicated that children would be sent home early due to a meeting this afternoon. Harold was on his way home when his imposters stopped him in front of a little store. They dragged him into a little area on the store's side and abandoned his bike on the road. It's the five bully boys all over again, Jade grabbed Harold's collar and pushed him against the wall. He was so troubled that he knelt on the ground and coughed twice. Renz and Calvin, the two youngsters, promptly assisted him in standing by holding his both arms. The aid gesture is not intended for Harold, but rather to prepare Jade for another attack. They thrashed him till he was exhausted.

"S-Stop . . . p-please stop!" Harold was pleading. They wanted to oppress him even more when he said this.

"Okay, smack him some more, Jade!" Raphe shouted. His face lit up with delight as he saw Harold struggling and in pain. Then, as Harold knelt on the ground, Jade kicked him in the stomach with enormous force, causing him to fall down.

Harold vomited blood, which spread on his face. He then lost consciousness because he was unable to cope with the terrible discomfort he was experiencing. Harold's status was checked by Harry, who came over to see if he was still alive and breathing.

In the middle of the forest, where hideous creatures are just hiding above the tress and elsewhere. Even though they have the unstoppable energy and strength to help the poor guy—Harold, middling human's delinquent is not their top priority.

"Don't tell me you feel sorry for that guy, huh, Harry?" Jade asked sternly, but Harry was unable to respond due to his fear of what had happened to Harold. So, Jade bent down and assaulted Harry, pushing hard against the wall.

"Perhaps you want to be like him?" Jade threatened. Harry simply nodded, indicating that he did not want to experience what they did to Harold.

As they stood in such a position, suddenly a dark cloud covers the small corner on which they were standing. It was as if a dark wall had blocked their view to the outside. Renz and Calvin quickly ran to check what kind of thing it was. But before they could get close, it was done covering the place. The only thing that gives them light is the sun from above.

Even with the light of the sun, the goosebump sensation pervades the entire space. Its incredible energy is causing their bones to quake violently.

"W-What's going on, guys? Raphe asked, his voice trembling.

"Don't be terrified of that! You appear to be a gay kid! " Jade responded fiercely, as if he wasn't terrified.

"How do we get out of here?" Renz said.

The four of them approached the black wall that blocked their way out, while Harry tries to wake Harold up. They tried to shout too loudly, but no one could hear them. They tried to figure out a plan for how they could get out. While they were busy thinking, they didn't realize that Harold was slowly getting up, except for Harry.

Raphe rolled his eyes, looking for something to use to get past the dark wall. He struck Harold by his sight, his head slowly looked up and his strength seemed to return as if nothing had happened.

"G-Guys?" He was taken aback when he called his friends' attention.

"Can you shut your mouth off, Raphe! We are thinking a way to get out from here—" Jade couldn't complete what he intended to say since he was so taken aback by what he saw.

He was enraged and was about to attack Harold with a punch. But just before he hit him, he turned into a statue. He was unable to move his body. "What is going on?" he said to himself. His friends are equally perplexed as to why he abruptly came to a halt.

Renz yelled, "Jade, punch him now!"

"I-I can't move!" Jade exclaimed, terrified as he looked about at his friends.

Everyone fell silent at once. The breathtaking scenario enclose their body as they witness a unexplainable strength that is coming from the poor guy they'd show no mercy.

"J-Jade?" Raphe asked anxiously, staring at Harold, who was slowly rising. Jade slowly turned to face him, his sweat dripping with apprehension as he swallowed his own saliva.

His eyes almost popped out at what he saw. Harold's eyes are widened and swelled with anger and gritting of the teeth as he smiled like a monster that ready to eat human flesh.

"Hold him, Harry!" Renz commandingly yelled.

But Harry is afraid to obey and carry out Renz's commands because he doesn't want to be a part of whatever they do to suppress Harold. As black smoke erupted from Harold's body, Harry moved away, as did the others. Jade is already urinating as a result of his tremendous dread, and he is unable to move his own body.

"Adiuro vos, Jaade, ut iam non nocuerunt mihi et physice et passione existens. Ute vitae meae, ne derelinquas me solum. Adiuro vos, Jade! Adiuro vos!" Harold was three times casting a spell for Jade.

The black wall that earlier hindered their exit is slowly dissipating as Harold is still in the second time of his spell. As Harry stood behind Harold, facing both his pals and the wall directly behind them, he immediately spotted this. As a result, he and his three other buddies bolted from the scene. Meanwhile, until the end of the third spell, the lone and leader of the group is left in front of Harold.

"From now on, you won't ever touch a single part of my skin, ever . . . again," Harold spoke sympathetically yet chilling into Jade's right ear. He quickly erased the enchantment from Jade's body after that. Then Jade bolted away from the scene.

Harold is unable to control his nasty laughter. His distinct appearance and energy are no longer reflect on the innocent and kind impoverished guy who was always subjected to bullying. Something has risen to the surface.
