Chapter 5 - The capital of Tiszod - Meres

A few hours later, Suna suddenly looks at Celine with a thoughtful expression, she reaches out and removes the tiara Celine was wearing, explaining when she sees Celine's doubtful expression:

– It's better not to wear too much jewelry out here – She smiles.

Celine is a little scared by these words, she knows their meaning.

– You can go back to reading now – Suna says as she puts the tiara in her bag.

Finally in Meres, Suna guides Celine out of the carriage, and soon the princess's attention is drawn to the many street stalls.

Celine is easily attracted by her curiosity, and only after taking two steps towards the tents does she feel a hand grip her arm, turning to look, she finds Suna, looking at her.

The princess raises her arms in surrender, and spoke with a sad expression – I just wanted to check it out, I've never visited a fair before.

Suna was still staring at her, sighing she let go of Celine's arm and said seriously – Alright, we can take a look, but you mustn't leave my side.

Celine nodded quickly and broke into a smile, pulling Suna straight to one of the stalls...

A few minutes later, Suna had an expression covered in black lines.

Celine ran to the stalls, one after the other, insisting that the products were very good and buying some, when she was going to another stall, Suna caught her.

– Miss, let's go to the inn, it will be night soon.

– This will be the last one, I promise – Celine said with a serious expression.

Suna gave Celine an odd look and sighing she followed Celine to the 'last' tent.

In this stall, several types of trinkets quickly attracted the young woman's attention, which the seller easily caught. He picked up the object and showed it, it was a simple silver bracelet.

– How much? – Celine asked.

– Oh. This is a good choice miss, I see you have great eyesight for jewelry – He began.

Noting their garments, they definitely had money, smiling he said – This bracelet is made of a very hard to find silver, often they can only be excavated from the deep caverns of Li Tui's realm, this humble would say its true value could not be set aside.

Veins cracked on Suna's forehead, what was this peddler thinking? Trying to deceive the princess of Celestia... this man didn't have an ounce of shame on his face.

– Approximately fifty silver coins would be a great price – Suna gasped as she watched that man's expression, he practically believed his own lie, he didn't even blink before saying this nonsense.

Suna was about to say something when a clink came from the sales counter, was a small bag of coins placed there by the young woman beside her.

– Exactly fifty silver coins – She said extending her hand to receive the bracelet, the seller grinned as he placed the bracelet in the palm of the young woman's hand.

– Thank you very much, I hope to do business with you again.

Celine nodded and pulled the paralyzed maid beside her toward the inn.

Suna wanted to scold Celine but was interrupted again by a commotion in front of the inn where they would stay.

There was a carriage in front of the inn, it was very luxurious, hence the absurd amount of people trying to see who was the nobleman inside it.

Suna held Celine, as well as the others, waiting to see who would get out of that carriage, depending on who they were they would change inn.

The carriage door opens and a slender white hand appears first, then followed by a handsome young man with dark hair and black eyes, dressed in navy blue clothes, his expression was cold, making some people take a step back with a little of fear.

The servants worked quickly at his side, moving bags and tending to the carriage.

Not sparing a single glance at them, the young man entered the inn.

– Young master!! – One of the servants called as he saw his lord walking away.

– Please Young Master, the master instructed us not to take a step away from your lordship!! – Another servant spoke suddenly.

They looked desperate as they grabbed their bags and instructed someone else to guard the carriage, and as soon as they were done they ran to the inn trying to catch up with the young man.

Suna thought, 'It's probably just a spoiled young man from a wealthy family', smiling, she looked at Celine and said – Celine, come in first, I'll guide the other servants to guard the carriage and bring your bags, let me choose the room, just wait inside, okay?

Celine nodded in confirmation to Suna, entered the inn, and sat in one of the waiting chairs of the place, the attendants there were too busy with the young man who came before that not even realized she was sitting there, and meanwhile, Celine watched the situation.

The young man continued with the same expression, while the two servants chatted with the attendant, he was looking quite bored as he waited for the negotiation.

Turning his head to look around, his eyes met Celine's, who was still staring at him curiously.

A little uncomfortable he nodded, and without waiting for her to reciprocate, he looked away, quickly climbing the stairs to the second floor.

As soon as his servants noticed that he was walking away again, they just took the keys the attendant was offering and ran to their young master.

– Please Young Master, don't stray like that again or these servants will have no more legs to follow you – One of them whimpered as he followed the young man to the second floor.

Celine kept watching until they disappeared from view, she turned her gaze to the counter and noticed the attendant staring at her, and from a distance, he asked if she needed anything.

– Oh, I'm waiting for someone – Celine turned her gaze to the entrance looking for Suna.

Suna was still talking to the servants, the attendant saw her and associated her with the young lady inside the inn.

'Another noblewoman, that must be your personal servant' - He thought.

So, like Celine, he waited for the servant outside to finish what she was doing before coming to talk to him.
