They consulted the doctor about this but he reassured them that it was only temporary. Because of the impact she received on her head it caused a concussion. While she was also recovering that, the lack of nutrient also implemented her to this situation. Her body was currently going through a process of recovery.
Elliots heart ached for. She seemed to have gone so thin so quickly. Even though she was on liquid diet and was getting the nutrition she needed through the wires, it made her look even sicklier.
When Alexa finally convinced Elliot to go it was the fourth day of Charlotte's unconsciousness. He went home to shower and change clothes before he ate the meal cooked my his nother. For the past few days his been relying on takeout. Finally eating a nice meal, Elliots stomach felt comfortable.
"She'll be fine sweetheart." His mother comforted him.
Elliot hummed and said nothing else. Soon after he took his change of clothes to the hospital. When Elliot returned Alexa left to eat leaving the two them in the room.
Elliot sad beside Charlotte. He gripped her hand in his and pressed his lips to the back of her palm. He let a shaky breath out and murmured, "Please wake up Charlotte. You said you loved me so please wake up i have so much to confess to you. I want to tell you that I love you too and that I'll never let you fall in such a dangerous position ever again. I want to tell you that I'll always protect you and I want to to tell you that I can't wait to plan out future." Near the end, Elliot had turned into a sobbing mess. You would expect him who had been constantly crying these days would dry his tears out but they never stopped. It kept coming until it dripped down their intertwined.
It was the like the gods had heard his silent prayers, there was twitch in Charlotte's fingers. The next thing Elliot knew Charlotte was blinking her eyes open and staring at him lovingly.
Elliot jumped from his seat and moved forward to hug Charlotte. His sorrowful tears turning to ones of happiness.
A dry and raspy grunt pulled Elliot back. :Are you okay?" He worriedly asked her. "Let me get the Doctor." As Elliot turned to leave a hand held his wrist.
"Its okay, I'm okay." Charlotte told him. "Just sit next to me you can call the Doctor or nurse from here." She pointed towards the little button in the VIP room that was specifically made to get the professionals attention.
"Alright." After pressing the button, Elliot took a neat near Charlotte's bed. Their hands intertwined tightly to reassure eachother.
" Come closer." Charlotte called out. Elliot followed and brought his face closer to her. He felt her hand leave his and grab his face. "You must've been worried." Using her thumb she soothed the bags under his eyes. "I promise I won't do that again."
Elliot broke into sobs. "I thought I lost you. We were okay one morning then the next you—" He didn't get to finish his sentence as he chocked on his tears. Charlotte with difficulty got up from the bed and into a sitting position. She cupped his face with both her hands and made him look at. "Oh darling but I'm here now aren't I? I won't leave you again okay?" Elliot sniffed and nodded before he wrapped his arms around Charlotte.
Charlotte could understand Elliot. The restlessness that gnawed at him was clearly obvious. Although she knew her disappearance distressed him a lot she would never fully understand until she would go through it and never she never wanted anything like that to happen to anyone nor does she want to experience the pain.
They just sat in that position bathing in eachothers arms. They were in their own world, silently comforting qnd loving eachother. Unfortunately there world lasted for a minutes before a knock broke them apart.
A Doctor followed by a nurse entered the room. He ran some tests on Charlotte. It did not take too long for him to diagnose. Fortunately it was good news as she was told she wsas healthy and with plenty of rest and nutrients she should be good again.
