"How would you sit there and tell me there is nothing wrong with you, we've been together for many years, so I know you well enough, just tell me what's bugging you, a problem shared is half solved you know"

She let out a sigh "still, I want to know"
"Please don't bother me"
"I shouldn't bother you, when Did I start bothering you? Am I now a pest?"
"Am sorry, that's not what I meant"
"So tell me what you meant, Do you not love and trust me enough to share every secret of your life with me? huh?"
"You don't have to raise your voice I love you alright"
She finally relaxed, those words were soothing to her heart, it felt like a warm bath on a snowy day, so refreshing "Am sorry for yelling, just tell me what's bothering you, I can comfort you, you are not supposed to grieve alone, for better for worse, remember?"
'sigh'
"I lost it, I lost everything"
"What did you lose?"
"My company"
"We could still work it out, what exactly happened"
"Am not even sure how and why it happened"
"Huh? What happened?"
"Mr Stone, he's out to ruin me"
"Mr Stone?"
"Yeah, Stone Empire CEO, Mr Stone"
"Why? Did your companies have a clash?"
"No, not at all"
"Then why is he making things difficult for you"
"Same question I have been asking myself, he didn't even let me see him sort things out"
"Damn, that Son of a bitch, Stone Empire right?"
"Yeah"
"I'll see what I can do but sweetheart you have to take things easy, come downstairs and let's have dinner together"
"I'll be right there honey" he stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom "I'll have my bath first" he entered the bathroom and shut the door behind him.
"Mr Stone huh? I'll so deal with you for messing with Mrs Soma"
Meanwhile, someone was restless in his small world trying to figure out how he could start a new life
'I got it, yeah, that'll do, I'll need some help though' he thought grinning widely. He picked up his phone and dialled a number.
"Hello, Ray, I need to discuss a business deal with you, can we meet up tomorrow at the cafe"
"Tomorrow, ok, it better be good though"
"It's so good Ray, see you tomorrow then". He ended the call smiling widely while he let himself drown in the river of dreams.
Three pretty ladies were sitting on the big bed painting each other's toenails and they looked like they were having fun, they were wearing their matching pyjamas with fairy designs, Natty's pyjamas were pink, Lisa's was purple and Lyn's was blue.
"Should I put the pink sparkling polish or the red polish?" Natty asked Lyn.
"No no use the white polish then add glitters" Lisa suggested.
"Yeah, white will be perfect," she said dropping the two pieces of polish she was holding and collecting the white polish Lisa was stretching at her "Lyn, you're going to love this," she said smiling widely.
"Hurry up Natty, I want mine to be more pretty than Lisa's," Lyn said excitedly.
"Patience babe, stay still let me work my magic" The room was quiet as they all watched Natty working her magic, she moved her hands gracefully like the colour fairy.
"All done" she announced.
"Wow it's pretty," Lyn said looking at her toenails with stars in her eyes.
"I love the stars, Natty how did you do that"
The design was breathtaking, with a white background with colourful glitters arranged in a star pattern on the big toe and just scattered around the other toes.
"No fair Natty, I want a redo," Lisa said pouting.
"I'll give you a better design if you design my fingers brilliantly," Natty said smirking.
Lyn was paying no attention to them, she was busy blowing on her toes, she didn't want her design to get ruined.
"Challenge accepted dear sis, get ready to be shocked"
"Am ready" Natty said stretching her hands for Lisa to begin. Lisa took Natty's white hands and stared into her blue eyes.
"I'll use blue, get ready Nat," she said as she busied herself. "Am done, this is perfect?" she said smiling proudly.
"OMG, where did you both learn these beautiful designs, all my life I only had a single colour polish," Lyn said looking at Natty's fingers.
"Wow, it's so beautiful, thanks Lisa" Natty said, Lisa, kept smiling proudly as she received praise from her besties.
"It's my turn, Nat, do a design on the black colour you applied on my toes," Lisa said stretching her legs towards Natty"
"I'll use silver, you like silver right?"
"Yeah, get on with it already"
"Okay okay, relax, now stay still"
Lyn watched the two attending to each other, she was happy to be with them, she was blessed to have such wonderful friends who valued her not regarding her colour, she excused herself to go get dinner ready, that was the least she could do.
"All done," Natty said smiling, they had polished each other's fingers and toes.
"Thank you, it's so pretty, I love it"
"I love mine too, thank you"
"What's that aroma?" Lisa asked sniffing the air.
"It smells like cake, Lyn is at it again"
"Let's go help her" They hurried packed the polish and dash out of the room.
"Lyn, what's cooking?" Lisa asked.
"Am baking a cake for dessert and noodles for dinner, am almost done by the way"
"You're amazing chef Lyn, I'll get set the table," Natty said.
"I'll do the noodles, Lyn, go get your nails done" Lisa suggested.
"Lyn happily agreed to leave and go to Lisa to finish up what she started.
