Nana woke up to an empty bed, 'George had probably left for work' she thought. She got down from the bed and went out of the room, Greg was heading towards the room too.
"Good morning mum," he said smiling
"Good morning son"
"Did u keep brother company throughout the night?"
"Yeah"
"Am so jealous?" he said pouting trying to look pitiful "was he the one who screamed?"
"You heard that too?"
"Yes, but I was too tired to come out to check"
"Too tired? You're so lazy greggy" she pinched his cheeks and started laughing at his cuteness.
"By the way has George left yet?"
"I think so, I didn't find him in the room when I woke up"
"What are you both talking about, I didn't go anywhere, I just went out for a walk"
There he was standing at the end of the alley leaning on the wall, he was wearing a white Tee and black pants, his beautifully sculpted face, his brown eyes, his slim and tall physique and thick black hair made him look breathtaking.
"Wow big bro, you look good wearing a Tee, I've gotten too used to seeing you wearing business suits"
Nana smiled widely while staring at George "you're still home? Aren't you going to the office today?"
"Not today, I want to take a day off, Natty's party is today"
"Oh yeah, I should go start with the preparations" Nana left the duo in the hallway.
"Greg, where's Natty?"
"Oh am sorry, I forgot to inform you, she's at Lisa's, they were having a sleepover, you miss her?" He asked smirking evilly.
"Oh Okay, I just wanted to know if she's mad and apologize to her but she isn't at home" he ruffled Greg's hair and walked past him "Go wash up bro"
George couldn't stop giggling his brother's action wasn't expected, on a good day he'll just say no, and when he's in a bad mood he'll ignore him, but now he replied to him.
He had always thought that George had a crush on Natty, they were not blood-related after all, and she and Nana were the only ladies he freely associated with.
Still standing in the hallway he started having different ideas on how to get them together, he was smirking evilly and his mind was deep in thought.
"Greg, what's with the smirk"
"Oh nothing mum" he finally snapped out of it and ran into his room, he took his bath and went downstairs for breakfast.
After breakfast, he assisted Nana in setting up the decorations in the house, they were having the welcome party at the mansion, and they decided to use the poolside for the after-party after the welcome dinner party.
Greg called Natty, to tell the ladies there was going to be a pool party, they should come in bikinis or more comfortable clothing for swimming.
Lisa was a bit worried, she had never exposed much of her skin.
"Don't worry Lisa, it's going to be dark, three of us will just have a good time, not minding what anyone says, it's my party after all"
"Yeah, you're right, but I don't have a bikini"
"I don't have a bikini too and don't know how to swim either"
"Am not surprised that you both don't have bikinis, okay let's go shopping for bikinis, and Lyn you don't have to worry it's not difficult, I can teach you and you can decide not to go inside the pool"
"Okay, but I want to learn how to, let's go buy the bikinis then"
They left for the mall to buy bikinis but ended up going on a shopping spree, they attracted a lot of attention, especially Natty, some ladies loved and wanted her sparkling deep blue eye, and the guys couldn't stop talking about Evelyn's beauty being of the black race, her smooth brown skin, her thick black hair and her emerald green eyes.
Lisa and Lyn excused themselves from the clothing section to get Natty a gift, they had to be quick so they split up. They meet back at the counter paid for what they bought and asked the lady to have it delivered to Greg's address, She called Greg to inform him about the delivery and asked him to keep it safe till that arrive.
They went back to the clothing section and meet Natty on the phone.
"What? Your flight got cancelled?"
"Why?"
"I wanted you to meet my mum"
"Am not upset, it's okay, it's not your fault"
"I love you too"
The call ended.
Natty let out a loud sigh, "girls you can't meet him today, his flight got cancelled"
"Aww, I wanted to meet him today," Lisa said looking disappointed.
Somewhere in the same mall, someone was busy shopping for an engagement ring, he had seen Lisa with Natasha Brinks and ran into her in the jewellery Section, she even helped him in choosing a ring, she was kind enough to give him her number when he asked.
'What a lucky day' he thought, he was smiling widely, his plan was going on smoothly. He left the mall and got in his car, watching the exit, waiting for Lisa to come out, he needed her help if he could pull this off successfully.
He watched her and her friends get into their car and drove off, he decided to trail them, he soon found out where they were living he drove to the closest restaurant there and made his move to execute his plans, he brought out his phone and dialled her number, He made his voice sound pitiful and like he was in tears.
"Hello Melissa" his acting was on point because Lisa thought something bad had happened.
"Hello, Sam, what happened?"
"Melissa, She didn't accept me" he started sobbing "she rejected me," he said and started crying loudly.
"Relax, don't cry, where are you?"
"Am at Heaven on Earth"
"The one at Broadly, it's close to my house, I'll be there in five minutes"
She ended the call.
"Lisa who was that and why are you going to see him"
"It's urgent Natty, I'll explain when I get back," she said and hurriedly left her apartment.
