After being dragged off by Praestantia, Reigga had landed himself in a spot he didn't know what to do.
"Go on, fight it." Praestantia casually told Reigga as she stood in front of the giant fire snake-tailed loin with spider legs coming out of its eyes, that she just summoned.
They were standing in an orange see-through barrier in the sky. The ground wasn't too far from the barrier. Just a few more stories above the trees.
"That?" Reigga pointed at the beast in confusion.
"Yes. Go." She shoved him a little bit at the loin-snake.
"Hell no!" Reigga stumbled back away from the loin-snake.
"Why. what are you, a wussy?"It seemed Praestantia really didn't know why he was scared of the loin snake. "Look its weakness is water, now go get'em!" She appeared behind Reigga and kicked him at the loin snake.
The beast roared as Reigga launched at it at a high speed! "Shit!" Reigga formed a water arrow behind himself and pointed at the beast and sent the arrow right into its eye! Reigga slid under the monster as it roared in pain and stood on its hind legs!
He bounced to his feet and turned to look at the beast. The loin-snake was looking at him as spiders began falling out of the loin-snakes eye.
"This sum bullshit." Reigga watched as the spiders flowed out of the beast's eye down to the orange barrier floor.
More arrows formed behind reigga as he cocked back his arm, then he released them at the beast by punching! The arrows gunned down the beast cracking its skull with one of the arrows!
"Oh wow, this is much easier than I thought." Reigga thought out loud.
"Yeah, this is why you're dumb. Maybe try feeling your enemy BEFORE running away?" Praestantia sassed him from behind him.
"Screw you." Reigga told her, "I don't want to hear you talk."
Praestantia's face twisted with rage, "Oh yeah!" She stomped her foot and the beast was gone just like that. "Fight me!" She slowly started to walk towards Reigga.
"Wait, I was joking." Reigga smiled as a cold sweat ran down his face.
"Nah, fuck that!" Praestantia's eyes turned red as a big spider leg came shooting out of her back that reach 6 feet over her shoulder. Then a scorpion tail came shooting out of her lower back and stretched 15 feet over her.
"Wait! I said I was jo-" Reigga's screams were cut short by Praestantia grabbing Reigga by the throat and holding him in the air.
"You got no right to speak to me that way!" Praestantia slammed his head on the ground and cracked it open a little bit. "Respect me! I sit above you pussy!" She held the back of his neck down like he was a dog being punished. But it felt like his neck was going to snap.
She let go of him and got rid of the animal limbs she grew. "Even if I'm around your age, I've done things your stupid little brain can't even comprehend. So speak to me like a teacher got that." She turned and vanished.
"My neck and my back!" Reigga uttered to himself as he slowly passed out.
In Reigga's dream world of color.
"Yo. You got donked up bozo." The shadow figure teased Reigga as he cast his shadow over Reigga.
"Yeah." Reigga sighed as he sat up.
"You should learn how to talk to females." The shadow grew a grey teeth smile.
"That hell!? This is my first time seeing any type of light on you." Reigga leaned in to stare.
"Yes, our power has grown making me able to come into the light more." The very dark gray smile vanished from the shadow. "...Reigga tell me, what is it you most want in life." The shadow's tone changes to a softer tone.
"Me? Hmmm, For money! As much as I want to save my mom." Reigga closed his eyes and laid his back on the soothing ground.
"That is a pretty cool wish." The shadow seemed to respect it.
"What about you." Reigga pointed his finger at the shadow while Reigga laying on his back, "What would you wish for?"
"Good question...I think I would wish for The Nihil Est Omnia." The shadow voice seemed filled with an emotion Reigga could not yet understand.
Reigga lifted up and put his hands behind him to lean on, the grass on the ground going in between Reigga's fingers.
"Wait!?" Reigga looked at the ground around him and noticed grass-like things on the ground. The only difference between it and regular grass is that this grass was white. Absolutely no other color.
"When did this get here?" Reigga felt the ground like a caveman feeling the warmth of the fire for the first time.
"Grass is pretty cool. It is truly one of the only things that just go with the flow of life." The shadowed sighed, "Sadly the future is coming." The next moment Reigga was back awake. He seemed to be in his bed.
"What the hell? Oh yeah, I got my ass beat. I kinda needed it though." Reigga sat up and stretched.
"Good, you're up." Praestantia was suddenly on the side of the bed.
"Why are you here!?" Reigga jumped in surprise.
"Get up. You've been out for three days. You should be fully healed." Praestantia ordered.
"Shit hold on!" Reigga jumped out of bed from her deadly gaze.
"Good now put on some clothes." She demanded then walked out. "Man I was pretty cool over there. Maybe I'm not so bad at this." Praestantia smiled and sat down.
"Alright, I'm ready," Reigga told her walking out in a school uniform.
"You don't have anything else?" Praestantia asked as she stood up from the couch.
"I'm broke," Reigga responded honestly.
"Oh, fair enough." Praestantia pretended to know what it felt like to have no cash. "Aren't you in class 1 though? You should have an alright amount of money."
"I'm...saving up for something." Reigga looked like he didn't want to talk about it so Praestantia dropped it.
"Anyway, we're training again today. So get ready." Praestantia tapped what seemed to be nothing but then a portal opened up that led back to that sky room.
Reigga had seen this a few days back when Praestantia first took him. He walked through and Praestantia follow right behind him. When she stepped in, the portal shut behind them.
"Alright, let's pick up from where we left off. As you now know fear plays a big factor in qompo. If you have fear of any form inside you when getting attacked, your qompo can be punched right through by even a weaker attacker qompo. And unless you've trained in the art of Corporalis, which you don't learn till the third year, you're screwed if that punch hits you." Praestantia told him like it was basic knowledge.
"So rule 1 of fighting! Don't be a bitch!" She yelled like a sergeant.
"Don't be a bitch!" Reigga yelled back like it was instinct.
"The rest of the rules you will learn as training goes on. With that being said let's get started." Praestantia shot ice out of her hand until three ice glaciers that rivaled the size of the Antarctic were in front of them.
"How did you do that so fast!?" Reigga could not begin to comprehend what happened.
"I'm better than you. Anyway, your qompo is not reinforced. It's basically a big ball of color. It is indeed powerful. But it's like you don't even try to make your fireballs hot." Praestantia shook her head.
"What? I can make my fire hot. I just don't try." Reigga lifted his hand out at shoulder level and a big fireball formed at a hyper speed.
"It is much hotter. But why do I feel like something is missing? It feels like it's burning but not really on fire. What is this?" Praestantia's mind raced as she stared at the 4 stories sized fireball. "We'll start from the middle basics." Praestantia snapped and the fireball disappeared.
"What just happened? I didn't make it disburse. Did her snap overtake me that easily?" Reigga stopped thinking like an anime protagonist and waited for what to do next.
"Your training will be to go straight through these glaciers I made. No going up. Not going down. Dig." She told him while pointing at the 3 large glaciers she made.
Reigga didn't dare to try to go against her orders again. He just made fire shoot out of his hand to start melting it.
Suddenly Reigga felt a hand on his back, "Just keep going, I need to check something." Praestantia told Reigga with her hands placed on his back.
"Hmmm. This is already weird. It's like qompo locks that need to be unlocked are locked. But that doesn't make any sense! Why can he use that much if he is locked down like this? Huh? What is that?" Praestantia was in a space in darkness but a single light shined far away. But it approached fast!
"What the-!" suddenly a flash of light shined and Praestantia went flying back away from Reigga slamming into the wall of the barrier!
Reigga stopped blasting fire and ran over to Praestantia, "Are you ok!?" Reigga asked as he took a knee next to her.
"Y-yes, I'm fine." Praestantia wobbled to her feet and leaned her back on the wall of the barrier. She smiled and looked at Reigga, "You are not normal. I look forward to training you." By the time she was done with her sentence, she had fully healed.
"But now I know where to start from." Praestantia snapped her fingers and all that ice she made turned into a soccer ball-sized water ball. "This is a water orb. It will not break if you drop it or anything like that. Your goal will be able to shoot your fire from the palm of your hand through that water orb." She handed over that water orb. "Take this everywhere with you until you can shoot fire through it. I will also be giving you training while you are here as well." She smacked the orb she just handed him out of his hand.
Reigga slowly looked at the rolling away orb, then looked at Praestantia, "Why though?" He asked.
"Shut up, time to train." She flicked him on his forehead then stepped back. "Watch this." She made a fireball in her hand the size of a baseball. "Even where you stand you feel the heat of my fireball. That is because I can heat my qompo and change it. You seem to be mostly changing somehow. If I can figure out a way to balance it out you would be way better."
"How the hell am I supposed to understand changing?" Reigga sighed.
"Learning change is natural like baby turtles or ducks with flowers as tails. You just know." She told him very weirdly but sounded sure of herself.
"But I don't know." Reigga was getting mad.
"Hmmm...Oh! I know. Headmaster taught me something about this. Close your eyes." She got rid of her fireball and placed her hand on his forehead.
Reigga closed his eyes, then Praestantia begin to speak, "Change is the future. The future brings change. Change is everywhere..." Those were the last words he heard from Praestantia before he woke up on a dock on a peaceful lake surrounded by misty mountains.
"Where am I?" Reigga felt with each move he made a clone of himself that did his movement a second after made him stumble. He fell over and looked at his reflection in the water.
"Damn is that me?" Reigga looked about 40 years older but good. "I aged pretty good." Then the lake started to shake and his reflection started to change. After a few seconds, the shaking stopped like nothing just happened at all. Reigga gathered himself and then looked at the lake. The reflection was much different now. A woman with silky hair and smooth skin stared back at Reigga.
"Come..." The woman reached out of the water and touched his face lovingly.
"Mom..." Reigga whispered as he slowly started to fall asleep, the woman slowly dragged him in.
"It's not her!" A familiar voice called out.
Suddenly Reigga's eyes snapped open to see the woman's face slowly pilling away down to the meat!
"It's all your fault!!" The woman screamed out as she tried to drag Reigga into the water!
"Shut the fuck up!" Reigga punched the whore in her face making the whole entire lake and the mountains shake and then started to crumble! The whole entire natural habitat had been destroyed and was caving into a huge crater made from Reigga punch.
"What the hell is going on?" Reigga thought as he calmly fell through the air into the infinite hole with all the mountains. The sunset over all the destruction with a calm breeze and a pinkish-reddish sky. Reigga closed his eyes and just fell without care. The sound of rocks and water crashing down roared like it could be heard from the other side of the planet. But Reigga heard nothing in his peaceful state of falling.
Then a scream rang out, "ReIGgA!" The sound was like high-pitched static with a disturbing calmly voice wrapped in the static! Reigga's eyes shot open and looked into the infinite void he was falling into. The whole world was falling as the screams multiplied by 20 and were so loud it made your head shake and your eyes vibrate!
Then a black cloud seemed to have ripped out of space and surround Reigga, "What the hell is happening!?" Reigga finally went back to being a teenager, "Who's calling me!?"
A voice called out from in the void, "Reigga!" Suddenly everything stopped. An out-of-this-world girl stood in front of him with glowing eyes and hair that lit like a fire. "Wake up!"
Reigga snapped out of it and realized it was Praestantia. But her hair and everything was glowing.
"You're back." She sighed and took her hand off his head.
"What the hell just happened??" Reigga felt his face and looked around.
"I showed you change. I forcefully instilled it in you. It worked in the way I thought it would...Now I see why the headmaster got me to train you." Praestantia's eyes and hair slowly faded back down to the normal color.
"Why?" Reigga overheard her talking to herself.
She paused and stretched, "It seems like...you are a Potential."
