Chapter 17 - Start of the war.

At the training grounds

"Richards progress is incredible. His Ice has become colder and harder by at least 12 times. She also has improved a lot." Knethern eyes darted at Leslie. "Her water and fire are working out normally well together. Angle isn't doing bad either, he is compressing his power and learning new things. Osdy learned how to mix his fire and wind. That's going to be lethal. And Avery will soon learn how to use crystal Qompo. They've all approved by at least 10 times." Knethern thought to herself proudly. "There is only 3 days left until the war. I wonder how that other boy is holding up."

Meanwhile...

Cari had just defeated the 9th door monster and was heavily injured. Almost dead. His breathing started to slow down. And his vision started to get blurry. "Fuck that I refuse to die like this!" Cari took all his focus for all his other bodily functions and put everything into healing. Even his heart was stopped. After 3 hours of healing himself, he was back at full strength. but insanely hungry.

"I really need food..." Cari looked at the dead bull demon he killed. "Can I eat demon meat?" Cari thought to himself. "Scew it!" Cari rip meat off the bull and ate it raw! He kept eating without thinking. Then he stopped...his body started feelling like it was burning! "Son of a bitch!" Cari falls to one knee and has to sit there and heal himself. "I think I'm good...Demon meat is a last resort meal for sure. At least I'm full now." Cari was covered in demon blood. It dripped off him like a broken faucet. "I guess it's time for the last door." Cari walked out of that room and went down the corridor a little more and the 10th door was huge. It was in the middle instead of on the left or right this time. Its handle was a dragon. Cari took a deep breath then opened the door. When he entered. It was complete darkness.

Then suddenly the room lit up and he stood in a room made out of white brick. A chained-up boy with a blue and black hoodie whose face was completely dark. And so was his skin. Looking at him was like staring at something that was not supposed to exist.

Cari looked at the boy "Who are you?" Cari asked.

"I understand. You must have suffered. I'm so sorry." Cari looked sad.

"I'll put you out of your misery!!" This hurts to watch.

Cari ran at 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎. And 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ ran at Cari they cocked back and clashed fist. The overwhelming sadness in 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ punch made Cari almost tear up. The punch sent a shock wave of power! 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ Quickly came around with a quick punch and punched Cari in the side and a flash of something appeared in Cari's mind. Cari returned with a left hook to the jaw.

👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ punched Cari in the stomach. The Cari headbutted him. A day passed of them exchanging punches. Then another....Then the final day came. Cari had only 1hr till the war started.

"You're a tuff guy." Cari smiles. 5 ribs shattered. Both of his arms on the verge of snapping.

"I can somehow feel what you're trying to say." Cari smiles. "How bout we make this our final attack. Everything we got into one final punch.

The lost soul nods. Then a burst of something I guess you can call it power burst from 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ hand. A burst of Qompo came out of Cari's hand. They both looked at each other.

"I'm sorry." Cari smile sadly.

Cari takes a deep breath then runs at him. At that moment everything felt like it was slowed down. Each step they took go towards each other felt like an infinite amount of time had passed. They took one final step and cocked back their fist. And then everything went silent... Then a loud explosion that sounded like all of their emotions put into one filled the room. After 5 minutes the explosion stopped. And Cari's hand was through 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ chest. Cari hurried and pulled his fist out the laid him down gently against a wall.

👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ Took off his hoodie and held it out to Cari.

"You want me to have it...?" Cari felt a huge rush of sadness come over him.

👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ nodded. As Cari reached out his hand it was like stars formed around them and they were sitting in a higher universe. When Cari grabbed the hoodie. He heard a voice.

"My...friends...help them...become stronger...and help them...please..." It was the voice of 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎. But he sounded different. "My friends...you will know where they are when you take this hoodie."

"I will help your friends. Don't worry." Cari put his fist on his heart.

"Then walk tall...my friend." 👍︎✋︎☹︎✌︎☠︎❄︎☼︎⚐︎ let go of the hoodie and started fading away into blue and white light. Until he was gone.

Cari looked at the hoodie. Then put it on. A zipper appeared on it when he did. Cari zipped it down and left it open. Suddenly all the abilities of the jacket rushed to Cari's head. "Hot damn. this hoodie is amazing...Thank." The room went back to white bricks. Cari smiled then fell to the floor and started healing himself.

Meanwhile...

"Where the hell is he!? The war starts in 30 minutes." Avery yelled.

"Shut up. We don't want to end up getting surrounded." Richard responded to Avery.

They were all sitting on top of the training ground rooftop.

"If the war starts without him we'll figure something out." Angle sounded a bit worried.

"We would defiantly have a better chance if he was here though," Leslie responded.

"That's true." Osdy agreed.

"Naw, I thought we would have a lower chance," Angel responded sarcastically.

"Stop being a dick," Avery said to Angel.

"Mmhmm." Angel ignored Avery.

"Guys seriously? Now?" Osdy looked at them a bit irritated.

30 minutes passed. 10 more seconds until the war starts. 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. The war has begun!

A moment of silents claimed the school.

Then suddenly an arrow landed next to them. Everybody quickly put up a barrier then the arrow blew up! They fell through the roof and inside the train ground waiting was 30 people that had Qompo element charged! Leslie quickly took out her bow and rained arrows down on them taking them all out. When they landed on the ground they started to feel it rumble. They all quickly ran out of the building then it blew up!

A rainstorm of Fire, water, earth, and wind came from above them! They all quickly put a barrier up then Richard slashed his staff at the building where all the attacks came from and chopped it in half. Then he froze the whole building before it fell completely and raised it off the ground and dropped it on another building. taking out 20 people.

"We need to find another spot. We can't just stay out in the open." Richard starts running with the group following behind him. Suddenly a man grabs Angel and slams him through a building! Angel bounces back to his feet and looks at him.

"You'll be fighting me." The man with wrist bans and a white headband tells Angel.

"Alright." Angel stands up straight and forms his sword. The other guy forms wind ninja stars.

Meanwhile...

"You sure it was ok to leave Angel!?" Leslie asks Richard.

"He'll be fine," Richard responds calmly.

Suddenly the ground under them starts to shake! Then it blows up! They all quickly jump to a roof but a woman attacks Avery with hook water swords. But Avery blocks by using his weapons. She had black hair and brown eye.

"Looks like you're my opponent." The girl said to Avery.

"Get off my dick bitch!" Avery kicks her in the stomach away from him.

"What a cheap shot." the girl groaned.

"No, you're just weak." Avery has a cocky smile.

Osdy got stopped by a guy on a roof. He had nunchucks made out of fire.

"Whataa! Come at me!" The guy made noise each time he swung his nunchucks.

Richard and Leslie stuck together and found a spot to hide and make a plan.

Meanwhile...

Angel and the wristband guy were going at it! The wristband guy jumped upside and threw some ninja stars and Angel. Angel ran at him and blocked the ninja stars then jump at him and then slashed at him but the guy pushed off the roof and dodged Angel. Angel made a new sword and threw it at him! The wristband guy threw ninja stars at it and knocked the sword away. Angel used the momentum of his sword and spun and through it 5 times faster. The guy barely had any time to react but he jumped out the way. Angel landed then combined his fire and water ability and made mist. And blinded the guy, Then ran at him from the side and cut his side super deep but in a ninja star to the shoulder. Angel dropped his fire sword and punched the guy in the face and knocked him out.

"Hell yeah!" Angel jumped up excitedly.

Back at Avery's fight.

The girl and Avery were clashing swords. Avery was starting to overwhelm the girl though. Avery jabbed his scimitars at her she barely dodged to the right but was met with a right high kick to the cheek. She was dazed. Avery then sliced her stomach with his left scimitars then he push-kicks her on her cut off the roof, knocking her out. "You suck balls!" Avery yelled down to her.

Meanwhile, Osdys fight was about to be finished up.

The guy yelled and swung his nunchuck at Osdy but Osdy caught it the punched him in the face. Osdy grabbed his arm and punched the guy repeatedly until his face was covered in blood.

"Yo guys! You done with your fights!?" Angel yelled down from the ground. Osdy and Avery looked down from their roofs.

"Yeah, I just finished mine!" Osdy yelled from the roof.

"I just did as well!" Avery added.

"We should look for Richard and Leslie then," Angel said as him and Avery jumped to Osdys roof.

"Yeah. Richard is probably simping," Avery laughs a little bit.

"He might, to be honest." Angel laughs a little bit.

"Then we better hurry," Osdy said a bit serious.

Meanwhile...

Richard and Leslie were hiding in a tree.

"We need to find where their main bases is. But every plan to find would most likely get us caught." Richard explained.

"We should really find everybody else." Leslie was feeling a bit worried about them.

"Why? It's best to stay hidden so we can come up with any type of plan." Richard tried to convince her.

"You said every plan is a little stupid and we can't just stay here. We'll be surrounded just like last time." Leslie stood strong on her point.

"Fine, we'll go look for them." Richard sighed.

They jumped out of the trees and stuck to the roofs.

Meanwhile...

"I need about 1 hour till I'm at full strength." Cari was leaned against the white brick wall. "I wonder if they are doing ok." Cari thought about the group.

15 minutes later...

"There they are." Avery pointed at Leslie and Richard on a roof surrounded by bodies. They rushed over to Richard and Leslie.

"Yo." Angel casually said as he stepped over a body.

"Where have you guys been?" Osdy asked them.

"Hiding." Richard sounded a bit irritated.

"What's wrong with you?" Avery asked.

"Nothing."

"We don't have time for this. Let's find a spot to hide." Osdy sounded a bit irritated as well.

They headed to the jungle. And sat in trees.

"Any plans?" Angel asked.

"I don't got anything." Avery sighed.

"If we had that someone as stupid as Cari running around fighting it would be easier to sneak around." Richard leaned his head against the tree.

"We should split up. Leslie with Angel. Osdy with Avery. We'll divide and conquer. It's the best shot we got right now." Richard looked steady in his decision. They all nodded and agreed.
