It's been a few hours and the sun started to rise. The gentle wind was nice and the air was fresh.
"Incoming!" A guy yelled as he saw hundreds of enemy soldiers coming.
"Alright, noobs get ready!" Roy demanded.
As the enemies got closer it sounded like thunder cracking the sky.
Not afraid of death Roy hopped to the top of the wall and stared down the enemies with his arms crossed.
He waited and waited then when the enemies got close he yelled "fire!"
And fireballs came shooting over the wall and blew up all of the liquid! The explosion was huge! It wiped out hundreds of enemies! If there was no barrier around the base it would've been caught up in the explosion! It went 50 feet in the air and stretch 1/3 of a mile.
"Whoo! That's nice!" Whooped Lolite.
"Dang Lolite! You did a good job!" Hivor tried to compliment her over the sound of yells, screams, and, explosions.
Roy stood there stone face. Not even flinching at the explosion. After a little, the explosion stopped.
Roy jumped down into the crater the explosion made then jumped out of it. And stood there in front of an enemy army with his arms crossed, with no fear in his eyes.
All of the soldiers on Roy's side appeared by his side. There were only 50 of them. compared to the enemies 603 soldiers.
"This is your mission! Get rid of as many of these basters you can!" Roy commanded.
"Yes sir!" They answered!
All the soldiers charged at them and so did Roy's soldiers.
The sounds of bones getting crushed and people dying. Screams that made your ears feel like they were bleeding and weighing on your chest.
Then after 5 mins, a dark elf managed to get through.
The class just stared at him thinking to themself "he trying to kill us." But the thought of killing somebody did not sit right with them.
Suddenly the dark elf rushed at Lolite! But Hivor stepped in front of her and caught the dark elf's punch.
"You could've chosen almost anybody else." Hivor shook his head. Then slammed the dark elf's head into the ground and stomped his head.
"Don't fear. If you do that on the battlefield. It'll probably be the last thing you do." Hivor whole demeanor changed as he pulled his foot from the dark elf's cracked open head. "You will all have to kill." He looked at the wall and waited for another to get over.
After a few minutes, the dark elves started flooding over the wall in groups of 5 and six every 1 minuted.
Hivor put lightning and his fist and then faked a dark elf out by kicking him then side then he spun and backhanded the dark elf. Another one came up behind Hivor but before he could hit Hivor, Snark slit the dark elf's throat then kicked the dark elf away before the blood could get on him.
"Worried about being clean on a battlefield, how unlike you." Hivor teased Snark.
"Shut up." Snark and Hivor were back to back laying out anybody stepped up to them.
A dark elf came at Lolite with a knife and she jumped up and grabbed his arm then spun off it and broke his neck with a kick. Turisa ran over to Lolite and launched her even higher into the air then punched a dark elf in the face and dropped him.
Lolite aimed for a spot and threw a potion at a group of dark elves getting over the wall and they caught on fire!
The battle lasted 4 hours...
When it was finally done Hivor walked outside the bloody Base and out to an even more bloody sight.
Roy and only 20 of his soldiers remained.
"30 soldier casualties and 12 student casualties," Hivor told Roy.
"A truly, a sad day." Wailed the lieutenant as she looked at a dead soldier.
"We have to pay our respects an-" Suddenly Roy was cut off by all the blood on the floor rising up. "It's demon qompo!" Roy warned even then every felt as it stopped. As Roy felt a spear go through his stomach.
"Da-Damnit." Roy fell to one knee.
"Commander!" The lieutenant yelled and tried to rush over to him.
"Stop! Focus on the enemy!" Suddenly another spear was hurled at the lieutenant. Her life flashed before her eyes as the spear got closer...and...closer.
Then like light, Roy was in front of the spear! It pierced his back and made him cough up blood.
He looked the lieutenant in her eyes down to her soul. Then he headbutted her!
"Don't ever do show weakness in front of the enemy!" Roy yelled then grabbed the spear and took it out of his back. His breathing was heavy. He turned around and looked at the demon finally formed.
It was a double-headed chicken-moth with a half-human body and wings.
"Skreeeeck!!" The demon screeched like a thousand chalkboards getting scratched and crying, babies.
"Such a horrible sound!" Snark covered his ears out of pain. So did everybody else.
"Listen up! We must stop this thing at all cost!" Roy's voice managed to roar over the scream.
Snark, Turisa, and, Lolite all ran out to see the demon and help fight.
"Da heck is that!?" Lolite was asking the right questions.
"It doesn't matter. Just know it needs to be stopped." Roy yelled as he stood up straight. His eyes lit up a bright red.
"Let's go!" Roy was the first to rush in. He grabbed the spear that the giant demon was holding and pulled the demon at himself then uppercut it! Lieutenant came up from the side and formed a form of dry ice around her hand and punched the bird in the side with the force of 10,000 rocket launcher shots.
The bird let out a nightmare fule scream then flung Roy off this spear! breaking his arm and a few ribs and sending Roy flying! Hivor came running up the spear and fired 10 lightning lava bullets at the bird's eyes! But it quickly blocked with his spear. Snark came up and sliced the bird's stomach with a lightning-fire sword! Just as the bird was about to strike Snark but Turisa sliced the bird's shoulder with a gold and diamond dagger that had spikes on the blade!
Lolite ran up and tossed a position in the bird's left eye and it melted the bird's eye!
The bird screamed and a blast qompo was let out! Knocking everybody back. The bird shrunk and its fur\feathers turned red. It was down to only 6'0 foot.
The bird sat there for a second. Then in not even milliseconds, the bird took of a soldier's head off. Blood splattered everywhere and went on the bird's face.
"Damn he's fast!" Hivor thought to himself. "Snark! Lolite! Turisa! If we want to stay alive then get into a group!" Hivor yelled. They followed his direction and got into a group.
The bird looked at them and sensed fear. Its head turned upside down, as it did that you could hear its bones cracking. Then the bird got down on all 4's. "Put a barrier now!" Hivor yelled! Then rushed at them huddled in a group! A barrier shot up and a blast of power shook the ground like the strongest earthquake ever!
The bird cocked back his arm and raised his spear and was going to strike through the barrier! But then the bird was suddenly punched and sent flying away by a just barely alive Roy!
"Don't give up! Go NOW!" Roy's voice sparks a feeling into the soldiers that can't be described.
They all rushed at the bird while it was on the ground then charged up everything they had into one final blow and fired it at the bird!
"AAAAH!" They put every fiber of their beings into the final move! The huge explosion filled the sky and reached space! The earth rumbled! It sounded like the sky was going to crack open!
The blast lasted for a while.
After it was done though. The soldiers went over to the massive creator they made to see if it was still alive.
"It looks like we've won. HAAAAA!" Roy raised his fist in the air and yelled.
"YEEEAH!!" Everybody celebrates and cheered!"
After that was done they soon were crushed by Reality. Death. the number of dead bodies. Allies and not allies. Hivor, Snark, Turisa, and, Lolite didn't think about it until now. But...they had all just taken lives. And watch some die right before them. Not able to do anything but just tried to help themselves.
The cleanup process was simply tossing the enemy bodies into the big hole they made.
The stars hit the sky and Hivor was sitting alone on the wall. The smell of blood still filled the air.
"Hey." Turisa, Snark, and, Lolite sat down next to Hivor.
They all just sat there and looked at the millions of stars.
"...Is this...what war feels like?" Wept Turisa. "It so empties and...sad."
"It makes you wonder why are fighting." Snark fell to despair as well.
"I thought I was the only one that felt like a weight was laying on them." Lolite sadly agreed.
Hivor looked at them, "I guess we just got to push through the pain." Hivor managed to barely crack a smile. "Those dark elf's used to be normal at one point. What if we are fighting just people. And race is just separating us?" Hivor thought to himself.
"I wonder if the gods that left us ever look down and laugh at our constant struggle to survive. If to them this is all just a game. If so I hate this game. And I want no part of it." Snark protested and punched his leg and rubbed his forehead out of frustration.
"...If that's how you feel about it then you shouldn't be a part of it. Try gardening. Flowers are pretty cool," Hivor suggests with a smile.
"Gardening? I don't know the first thing about it. Are you messing with me?" Snark scolded Hivor.
"No seriously." Hivor motioned his hands for Snark to calm down. "Gardening is fun and relaxing. I can teach you how. Oh! Maybe we can start a gardening club." Hivor beamed.
"But my duties as the leader of the student council..." Snark was always busy with that.
"Me and you can split them 50\50. That way we both could do this gardening club thing." Turisa told Snark.
"Hmm..." Snark hesitated.
"Come on...come on..." Hivor started to chant.
Come on...come on..." Turisa and Lolite joined in.
"Alright fine! We'll try some gardening." Snark grinned.
"Hey, come down here," Roy asked, all bandaged up.
They all hooped down.
"Despite what people say. There is no glory in war, But keep true to yourself and you will find glory in yourself. After your first battle, I know how you feel so keep these words in your heart" Roy blustered.
They all just nodded.
Roy looks through them, "Sorry to tell you but the fight isn't over yet. We must travel out because an enemy camp has been discovered nearby. Our final mission is to go there and destroy it."
"A mission? Are there any reinforcements coming?" Snark asked.
"No. This mission will be done with us. The last few remaining survives." His words crushed them.
"That sounds like a suicided mission!" fretted Lolite as she stomped her foot forward,
"I would never take allies on a suicided mission!" Roy's energy instantly crushed hers, "I believe we can win. That's why I'm taking this risk!"
Lolite stepped down and looked at the ground.
"Anything else?" Roy's energy alone made it feel like he was staring at your soul. So when he really did stare at you it only got 10 times worse. The group was silent.
"Alright then. We leave tomorrow. Be prepared, this will be a long trip. We leave at sunrise so get some sleep." Roy turned and walked away.
Right after, the lieutenant walked up to them, "Hey try not to worry. Roy's main adjective when it comes to these things is to keep his people alive. Try to have more faith in him." She tried to reassure them. It worked a little.
After that, they all decided that they should just get some rest.
The next day, The sun was shining and the sky was blue. It felt nice.
Everybody got up and ready to travel.
They all met up on the outside of the wall.
"Everybody ready?" Roy asked the group.
They all nodded.
"Then let's go." Roy turned and started walking...
A week into traveling in a forest while they were taking a break.
"So every plant has a different way of growing and such." Hivor was teaching Snark, Turisa, and Lolite about gardening. But he kinda didn't know what he was doing.
"Hey, Kanka. You know a decent amount about plants. Why don't you help teach?" Roy asked.
"I guess I can help them out." Kanka grinned and got up and walked over. "So you guys plan on starting a gardening club after this? Well, I'm pretty good with plants. I can teach you guys a thing or 2."
"Oh! That be nice." Hivor went and sat down
That day they had a lesson on plants. And it continued along the way while they were traveling.
A weak later they had a test on what they know. Hivor scored the highest with Lolite coming right behind them.
"I can't believe I lost to him again..." Snark mopped.
"It's ok. At least you scored higher than me." Turisa tried to make him feel better.
After 2 more weeks later they had finally arrived at the dark elf base.
They stood over it on top of a cliff. The base was in a canyon and was surrounded by walls.
