"So we need to heeeead...over there." Cari pointed to a lake that the demon deer were drinking from.
They crouched in the bushes.
"So what's the plan?" Richard whispered and asked.
"Angel you're going to head right and Richard you're going to head left. I'll head straight in. I'll go in 40 seconds. Leslie, you stay here and only jump out if absolutely needed." Cari whispered.
They nodded then got into position.
"5,4,3,2,1." Cari jumped out from the bush and ran at a deer and tried to punch it but it put up some kinda barrier!
"Well shit." Cari thought to himself in a little bit of a panic.
The 3 deer were about to rush him when suddenly Richard and Angel jumped out and startled the deers.
Cari noticed then he rushed at the deer in front of him and grabbed it by its antlers and twisted its head sideways, having a pushing war with the deer. Angel and Richard were as well.
"Les! Throw me a stick or something!" Cari shouted.
"Alright!" Leslie ran and found a stick on the ground then hurried and threw it out next to Cari's foot!
"Damn it I can't reach it. Les! come out here and hand the shit to somebody!" Cari was starting to lose his grip.
Leslie jumped out of the bushes and ran the stick to Cari. Cari quickly grabbed it, letting go of the deer with one of his hands then he jammed the stick into the deer's eye then pulled it out with all his might! The deer let out a hellish scream. Cari rushed over to Angel and stabbed the deer Angel was struggling with in the eye, then rushed over to Richard and Shoulder bashed the side of the deer, knocking it off balance. Richard kicked the deer in the legs and made it trip and slammed him to the ground using its antlers. Richard while still holding onto the deer's antlers stomped on its head as Cari started punching it in the throat!
Angel pulled the stick out of the deer's eye then stabbed it in the other one when he felt like he was going to die. Then he took the stick out and stabbed the deer in its throat. He rushed over to the deer right in front of Leslie and shoved the stick right into the deer's side. the deer lifted onto its hind legs out of pain. Richard ran over and punched the deer in the side as hard as he could, then Cari ran up next and stomped its hind leg and broke it. Then Angel took out the stick and sent it straight through the deer's neck killing it.
"Holy...fuck. That was a lot of work." Cari said, out of breath, slumping down on the deer.
"This was trash." Richard sat down in the water.
"Too much blood." Leslie turned her head away from the deer, not wanting to look at it.
Angel stayed silent and let go of the stick. The feeling of running a stick through a deer's neck didn't really sit right with him.
"So even the animals have some sort of magic. It put up a barrier when I tried to hit it. We'll have to learn how to use it." Cari went over to Richard and helped him up.
"So do we just take their antlers to show proof of beating them?" Richard asked.
"I don't know. Mind as well just in case." Cari shrugged his shoulders.
an hour later... The group walked back into town with the deer antlers. The sun was just going down.
"We're back," Angel said as Cari walked past Avery and Osdy to turn in the bounty.
"Yo. We did it." Cari smacked the bounty on the counter where the female bartender was.
"you did? I thought you would die." The bartender responded.
"Here's the proof." Cari showed her the deer antlers.
"Alright. Here's your 5 silver." She handed the money in a pouch.
"We don't even know how much that is." Richard thought to himself.
"Sorry, I'm a little dumb. How many bronzes equal one silver?" Cari asked
"You really are dumb. 1 silver equals 50 bronzes. Everybody knows that." The woman said.
"Thanks. Oh yeah, you have any place I could sell these antlers?"
"The shop right across from this one buys them." The woman pointed out the window.
"Ight thanks. See ya." Cari walked out with Richard.
"So we got 5 Silver now." Richard told the group.
"How much is that?" Avery asked.
"250 bronzes."
"How much is that?"
"I don't know Avery."
"Can we find a place to stay with it?" Leslie asked.
"I wouldn't know. all these damn questions." Richard said, scratching his head a little irritated.
"I'm honestly good with sleeping outside," Angel said.
"If we have to then I'll do it as well," Osdy added.
"That's the last option though, right?" Avery asked.
"Welp while you guys were talking I went and cashed those antlers in," Cari said, walking up behind them. "Come on. The man in that shop told me about a place we can stay at for tonight." Cari takes the lead and leads them a few blocks then finally arrives at an inn.
They walk inside and it only costs 10 bronzes to stay. But then there was a big problem...there were only 2 beds.
"Osdy and Avery definitely aren't getting the beds. They didn't really do much." Richard nodded and put his hand in the air.
"I vote that Osdy and Avery sleep on the floor." Cari raised his hand.
"What! Why!?" Avery shouted.
"Oh I'm sorry bitch did you go fight some demon deers!? No? well then eat a dick." Cari responded.
"That seems fair." Osdy shrugged it off.
"Here take a pillow." Cari tossed Osdy and Avery a pillow.
"Now here's the real problem. Who is sleeping on what bed." Cari shot a look at Angel, Leslie, and Richard.
They all looked at Each other for a minute.
"I'll sleep with Les-"
"No," Cari said, cutting Richard off.
"I got an Idea. Hold on." Cari pushed both of the beds together.
"Instead of all the boys being crowded on one bed now we have a little move-around room. Now, who wants to be in between two guys?" Cari chuckled a little like it was a joke but this was a very serious situation.
"This only weird because Leslie is a girl!" Angel shouted.
"I guess Les could sleep at the end of the bed by our feet," Richard suggested.
"I can do that." Leslie nodded sadly.
"Alright, Angel, you're definitely in the middle of me and Richard," Cari said.
"Fine. Whatever." Angle Said a little irritated.
A few hours later...
"I knew this would happen. I don't sleep. This shit sucks. I guess I'll head out for a little." Cari thought to himself as he got out of bed and walked out and wandered to the roof.
"The view is nice." Cari thought to himself as he looked at the septillion stars in the sky with the calm warm breeze washing over him.
Meanwhile in Leslie's dream...
Leslie sat in front of a white orb that was smaller than what the normal human eyes can see. In a place of nothing of darkness. No sound. Then In Richard's dream, He was sitting in front of a black orb in a place of nothing of white. And in Angel's a place of blue with a blue orb. In Avery's, a place of red with a red orb. In Osdy's a place of many colors with a clear orb.
As they all reach out and try to grab the ord, it comes closer to them and unlocks more.
Meanwhile on the roof.
"!?" Cari looks around in a panic.
"Something is definitely off!" Cari rushes down from the roof and into their room. Everything seems normal. Cari still got an uneasy feeling though. Like he's being watched. Cari shut the door and sat his back against it and watched over everybody. Not looking away for one second...
When the sun rose. The feeling of being watched was gone.
"Good...I only need to rest for an hour and I should be good to go for the rest of the day." Cari thought to himself then fell into a state of between awake and asleep.
Meanwhile at the kingdom's main castle.
"My lord we tried everything but there were no weapons. But It is definite that the weapons did appear." A guy with purple hair was on one knee in front of a king in the castle.
"This is bad. Could the dark elves have somehow stolen it?" The King tapped his figures nervously.
"The lead that we have right now are some teenagers that were seen around there. Asking Odd questions. They were also dressed weirdly according to the elves."
"I see. Find them and bring these weird people to me." The king demanded.
"Yes my lord." The purple hair man stood up and walked out.
When he walked out the door the rest of the heroes were standing there.
"So he orders us to find them?" A guy with blond hair and blue eyes asked.
"Yes. Let's go." The purple hair guy took the lead and went to find F.B.I.W.C.
An hour later...
Everybody in the inn started waking up.
"Good Morning you guys," Osdy said sitting up and stretching.
"Goodmorning." They all said at the same time.
"...I'm hungry," Angel said, rubbing his stomach.
"Better eat an air sandwich," Cari responded, standing up.
"No, but like we really do need food," Richard said.
"I can eat," Avery added.
"I guess we can head to the bar. I think they serve food." Cari said.
"I need a shower. I hate sleeping in the same clothes." Leslie thought to herself.
"Today we need to work a little harder. Because we really need the money." Cari thought to himself.
After they all woke up they headed to the bar.
This time everybody walked in.
"Yo, we back," Cari said, sitting on a wooden stool at the counter.
"How ya doing." The bartender said with her angsty teen-type voice.
"Hungry. You guys serve food here?" Cari asked.
"Yes. Sit in a booth and we'll send somebody over."
"Thanks." They all went and chose a booth.
"Order cheap. We don't have much money." Cari said as he looked at the menu.
"I'll show you cheap."
"Richard, what does that even mean?" Cari asked.
"I dunno." Richard shrugs his shoulders.
They all ordered and kept it under 2 silver.
"That was good," Angel said then let out a burp.
"Yeah...So what now? Leslie asked.
"We need more money so another bounty. Then we need weapons. Come and pick one out with me somebody." Cari said getting up from the table. Richard and Leslie got up and walked over with him.
"Which one guys? The slime one or the bat one?" Cari asked Richard and Leslie.
Richard pointed at the bounty with the bat on it."The big bat one."
"I guess It doesn't really matter," Leslie said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Ight. Hey you guys! we out!" Cari yelled to Avery, Angel, and Osdy.
"Here we come!" Angel yelled.
When they walked out a few steps suddenly 6 people popped up in front of them Faster than they could see. It was the heroes.
"These people Siro?" The blond hair guy asked the purple hair guy whose name was Siro.
"The weird clothes. skin colors match the description." Siro responds, fixing his glasses.
"Go easy on them. This could be a mistake. Go easy on them, guys." A girl with red hair in the back said. She gave a nice warm feeling.
"Let's just take them and leave." A girl with short pink hair said. She looked like she had a temper.
"I hate being outside. Let's hurry up." The guy with black hair seemed to be depressed.
"They don't look strong. So disappointing." A green-haired dude with a scar under his eye said, shaking his head.
"Who are you, people? And why did you just pull up on us?" Cari asked, backing up a little.
"You don't know who we are? These are definitely the right people." The blond hair dude said.
"We need you guys to come with us." Siro looked like he was always pissed.
"Nah." Cari walked past him.
"Hey. Where are you going?" The blond hair guy popped up in front of Cari.
"To do this bounty. I need the money." Cari held up the bounty.
"If you come with us we will provide you with much more money than what that bounty could make you," Siro said, flipping up his glasses.
"...I'm listening." Cari turned back around.
"All you need to do is speak with the king and give us some answers."
Cari looked at Siro and noticed that all of them were dressed in the same nice fit.
"We should just go," Richard said.
"Ight fine. Lead the way." Cari said, to Siro.
He nodded then started walking.
Everybody followed them.
"You think we really can trust these guys?" Leslie whispered to Richard.
"No. But we need the money. And I don't think things would have ended well if we tried to walk away."
"What if their king is a creep and we being brought there for some type of slave trade," Avery whispered.
"They'll have to kill me if we get into something like that," Cari responded.
"Same" Angel nodded his head.
"Let's just hope it's not." Osdy leaned into the conversation.
"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to you guys." The girl with the red hair said with a calming smile.
"All because you cute and have a nice smile doesn't mean I'm just going to trust you," Cari said, cracking his neck.
"Am I supposed to be happy or hurt by what you said?" She asked.
"Why not both?" Cari responded.
"I- uhh. I guess?" She was confused now.
"Simp," Avery said from behind Cari.
"Shut up you hater," Cari said, turning around and flicking Avery's head.
"Ay bitch!" Avery jumped at Cari but he had already turned around and didn't care.
They walked till they got to the golden gates of the castle.
"Damn this place big. Why do you need this much laand?" Richard said walking up to the gate.
"The king is of the Ichu bloodline. He deserves it." Siro said.
"Oh, ok." Richard didn't look like he cared.
The gate opened and as they walked through, 50 guards came out and formed a line on the side of the stone path leading to the door of the castle.
"Welcome back heroes!" The guards yelled at the same time and smashed their spears on the ground.
"Damn giving us the good entrance," Cari said smiling.
"It wasn't for you." The blond hair guy said.
"I know that. Way to kill the mood." Cari responds and puts his hands on his head.
"Oh." The blond hair guy didn't really know what to say.
They walked through the doors of the castle.
"This floor is nice," Richard said as he looked at the floor that was clean enough to eat off of.
"Skateboarding in here would be dope." Cari tried to slide on the floor with his shoes.
"What is skateboarding? Sounds cool!" The green hair guy asked.
"I'll tell you later. Anyway, you guys good? Look a little nervous." Cari asked his friends.
"We're about to meet a king. It's a little nerve-racking." Leslie was walking stiffly.
"And you got all these guards strapped up as well." Avery looked at the guards following them.
"I'm alright I guess." Angel was clearly nervous.
"I can hold together but I'm starting to get a little nervous." Osdy rubbed his hands together nervously.
Richard and Cari were chilling.
They stopped in front of a big door then they all entered, and sitting on a throne at the end of the room was the king.
"Are these the people?" The king looked angry.
See ya next time...
