Chapter 18 - Chapter 18

As Axel and Fulario sit next to each other in silence while they are waiting for the others to finish grabbing a drink and some food for themselves, Wyatt and Mirin, as well as Sophie is taking care of them inside of two different shops that are next to each other.

"Hey! Don't be too rude and take what others have. If there's no more of that same food then you need to take something else. Ok?" Wyatt exclaimed as he stares at the chaotic group of kids that are running around the shop while grabbing whatever food they can get. Wyatt sighed at the hopeless situation that seemed to not follow his hope of not having to do much more than what he needed. However, a few seconds after Wyatt sighed, a little girl who seemed to be just a bit younger than Sophie walks up to him and tugged on his onesie. She wears a long yellow dress with green polka dots that covers l the way to her ankles. Her eyes were yellow like a sunflower and her hair was a wavy yellow hair that matches her eyes that covers her back.

He looks in the direction of the little girl as he kneels and asked her, "What's the matter? Are there any problems? Are you not satisfied by what this shop offers?" he asked in a slow and seemingly peaceful note towards the girl that seems to be too nervous to talk to him.

"H-here!" she said in a shy tone as she gave Wyatt a card while looking away, trying to not stare at him directly. Wyatt took the card and read it quietly. The card says, "Give this card to your loved ones!! Show them how much you love them!!"

Wyatt then thought to himself, 'I never knew this kind of cards existed in this shop. Guess you learn something new every day, huh?' he then looks back at the shy little girl and pat her head as he asks her, "Hey, what's your name?" he said with a little smile on his face as he tries to not make her too anxious.

"M-my name is... H-Helena..." the girl said in a shy note as she still tries to avoid any eye contact with him.

"Helena? That's a beautiful name. Thanks for the card, I appreciate it," he said as he kisses her on the forehead. Suddenly, the girl pushes him off and then quickly ran towards the other side of the shop, disappearing from his sight. Wyatt once again thought to himself, "Was that the wrong this to do? Am I even suited to take care of these kids? I really, really don't understand kids"

He then stood up and looked for all of the kids before gathering them once more to pay for the price of the foods that they took. When they all grouped up again in front of the cashier, Wyatt notices that the little girl from before, Helena, was among all of the other kids. The cashier then counts up the total bill as Wyatt walks up to her and opens the zipper on his onesie. If one were to look carefully, it seems like he doesn't wear anything under his onesie, and inside his onesie, there are a few small pockets and from one of that pockets, he took out his wallet.

The cashier said, "The total bill would be 23 silver Louras," she said as she stares at Wyatt.

Wyatt thought to himself, '23 silver Louras? If I remember correctly, 10 bronze Louras is equal to 1 silver Loura, and 10 silver Louras is equal to 1 gold Loura and lastly, 10 gold Louras is equal to 1 Crimson Loura. At least the price sounds reasonable so it should be fine,' he then took out 3 gold coins. The gold coins have a signature mark of what appears to be two swords that are in a cross formation, as well as a symbol that appears to be a sun on the upper right part and a moon on the lower left part.

He then gave the coins to the cashier in which she accepts. As she was about to count the change. Wyatt said to her, "Ah, hey! Keep the change," he said in a low and casual note. As if the cashier was one of his close friends.

"Are you sure, mister?" the cashier asks in a confused tone to confirm what she just heard.

"Of course I'm sure. Just keep the change. I don't think it's that much of a difference," he said in another casual tone.

"Then, thank you, mister," she said as she gave a small bow towards Wyatt.

"Don't sweat the small stuff. This is just ordinary life for some people here in the City," he then puts his wallet back inside his onesie at the same time the cashier straightens her back to stand up straight again. She then notices that Wyatt doesn't seem to wear anything else inside of his onesie.

She suggested, "Mister, if I may give you a recommendation, there's is a cloth shop not too far from this shop. It's just around 30 meters to the right of this one," she said as she looks at Wyatt with excitement.

"Ah, I see. Well, thank you for the recommendation. I'll think about it for a bit," he then turns around and faces his group of kids that holding around 1 or 2 snacks and foods each. He then continued, "Alright everyone! Since each of you have your food now, we'll be going back to the main lobby! Does anyone else have anything else that they want to buy or bring with them?" he asked as he pans around the group of kids trying to see whether anyone is interested in anything. He then decided that they are all set and then leads all of the kids to exit the shop. The cashier gave a small wave with a smile as they exit the shop.

When they pass through the door, they were greeted by Mirin, Sophie, and the other half of the group. They seemed to be waiting there for quite some time.

"Uh, how long have you been waiting there?" Wyatt asked Mirin who is staring at him with dagger eyes.

"Oh! Not too long. We were also just got out so I guess we're going back together," Sophie answered with a cheerful tone, just like how she used to be.

"Alright then, let us go back and meet up with Axel and Fulario again, shall we?" Mirin said as she sighed then leads the group first. The group of kids followed behind her, some of them are even leaving Sophie behind. Wyatt notices the weird atmosphere as he scratches the back of his head before following along. Followed by his group of kids and Sophie to meet back up with Axel and Fulario who are waiting for them in the lobby.
