Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

The series of light then vanishes again as he has now arrived back at Dos Office where Wyatt, Mirin, and Fulario are already waiting for him in front of the office.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Is everything alright?" He asked as he looks at the trio waiting for him.

"Welcome back, young Axel," Fulario welcomes Axel back as he gave a wide smile on his face.

"....Can we go now?" Wyatt asked Mirin in a tired tone as he is sitting at the bottom of the stairs in front of the office.

Mirin glanced at Wyatt before replying, "Right, since all of us are already here, let us hire that same Transporter again to get to the ShadoWarp," she said as she looked back at the Transporter standing behind Axel.

Axel glances around to see that the Transporter is still standing behind him and asked the others, "So then, shall we get going now?"

The trio gave a small nod as they walk closer towards the Transporter. Axel gave a small nod to the Transporter as he then, once again, holds his hands together and chant, "Movere," once again, a series of blinding light envelops the group as they are transported to the nearest ShadoWarp.

A few moments later, the light disappears, revealing that they are now near a towering building that has see-through glasses that reveals the dark portal situated in the center of the building.

Axel reaches towards his pocket as he took out his wallet but the Transporter interrupted, "About paying the services, you don't have to. Mr. Tara had already paid me in advance to deliver your group to your destination as well"

Hearing this Axel was surprised, "Really? Is that so? Then I guess I owe him this one then. Thank you for the service," He said as he bows a little towards the Transporter.

"Don't worry, I am only doing my job," he replied as he then, once again, holds his hand together and chant, "Movere," a few moments later, he had disappeared from the group's sight.

"Alright then, shall we get going now?" Mirin said with a smirk on her face as she seems eager to enter the building.

Axel gave a nod and then they proceed to enter the building together. Upon entering the door, they see a giant device, one that is almost as tall as their office, radiating an ominous and mysterious aura.

"No matter how many times I've been here, this always blows my mind," Axel said as he checks the massive device and the building surrounding it. The building itself is made out of see-through glasses on its bottom floor and concrete walls that continue to the top of the building.

With two entrances and exits, the place is crowded as usual. Many people use this place as a way to get to work or to simply travel to a faraway distance as the limit of travel doesn't seem to exist for the device.

Upon nearing the device, one could see two bulky figures on each side of the device and a slim figure. The two bulky figures are men who seem to be in their mid-thirties. Their huge frame radiates an intimidating aura towards everyone who goes near the device. The two men wear black suits. One of them has a giant mace, while the other holds a giant energy cannon, one that seems like it's so heavy that it's a two-man job to carry and fire the cannon.

Meanwhile, the slim figure is a man, with a smaller frame than the two bulky men but he radiates a more fierce aura with an eerily wide smile on his face. The man wears a white and black shirt and fingerless gloves along with a black trench coat. He has a dreadlock with a black eye. His eyes are scanning constantly for suspicious individuals and manners.

Axel and the others started to line up for their turn. When their turn arrived, Axel greets the men in the black and white shirt, "Hey, Ryan, long time no see!" he then extends his hand for a handshake.

The man named Ryan then shakes Axel's hand as he replied, "Axel, is that you? Damn, long time no see, bud," he then releases his hand, "How is it going for you?" he asked in a joking tone.

"It's good. Sophie's been growing strong and hear this one out, can you believe what she said before I leave her? She said that she'd grow up to be strong enough to help me!" Axel exclaimed as both of them burst into a laugh.

"Yoooo, that's sick, dude! You'll get a sidekick when she grows up! So, where is she now? I don't see her with you," Ryan asked as he looks around the group but sees no sign of her anywhere.

"Ah, about that. I drop her off at Mirin's acquaintance's Childcare," he replied with a more calm tone.

"Damn, ok. So... Where are you going now?" Ryan asked in a curious tone, his eyes are flickering with curiosity.

"Right now we have a request at District 4 but we don't have any idea what we're dealing with so we'll just have to wing it," he replied as he glances back at his group.

"Good luck out there, mate. You never know what kind of shady, shitty shenanigans are out there," he exclaimed as he sends Axel and his group off.

"Thanks for the warning, man. See you soon," Axel then gave Ryan a small wave as he and his group walk past and into the device. Inside of the device, it felt hazy and ominous. But after walking for a few seconds, they arrived at the other side where they are now within another similar building but with different figures guarding it.

They quickly walked outside of the building. After walking out of the building, they immediately notice the staggering amount of food stands and restaurants. People walking past each other and eating food almost instantly after sitting down. Some are eating, some are drinking, and some of them are just casually chatting with their groups.

"It truly fits its name of the Cuisine Gatherings of The City," Wyatt exclaimed in a tired tone as he looks interested in some of the foods that he can see from where they are standing right now.

"Alright then, let us get to the hotel before it gets dark. Maybe we could go grab a bite or two before we start looking into the request," Fulario suggested as he also looks interested in some of the foods that are served there as well.

The group then continues their journey through the dense crowd and food stands that are almost literally everywhere to reach their resting place.
