My father was shocked to hear what I had to say. What was so important for Rock Flames that he couldn't tell it to my dad and wanted him to go back home? It seemed a weird request.
Whatever the case, my father agreed and packed his bags. I on the other hand, took out the clothes I had packed. A new message was received by my father sent by Rock Flames. It was his address. My father lent me some money for future use as he was sure that this would take time. He left all the necessary things. It was nighttime and we decided to sleep.
The next day, when I got up, my father had already gotten dressed. It was around 8:00 am. He was waiting for me to get up. He hugged me and said, "Bye Blaze. I will meet you soon. Call me from somewhere when you are coming back. Take care." He grabbed his luggage and opened the door. I accompanied him downstairs till his car parking which turned out to be awkward as I was wearing a T-shirt and pajama.
He told goodbye one last time and then drove off. I came back, alone in my room. I had been alone before but this somehow seemed different. I took a bath and got dressed. I quickly got a taxi and told the driver the address.
By the time I reached the office, it was 9:05 am. I took the lift and rushed to the given address. There inside the room, I found Rock Flames and Oliver standing, waiting for me to arrive. Panting, I began with a sorry. None of the two appeared to take my apology. Rock Flames directly began with what he wanted to say.
"What do you think? My only purpose for organizing the Warrior Battle Fest was to crown the strongest warrior?" Rock asked. Oliver was smart enough to keep quiet. But as you guessed, the champion cannot keep his mouth shut.
"Yes." I guessed. Rock Flames looked at me as if I was an idiot, which I proved to be after giving this answer maybe. "No! Of course not!" Rock Flames shouted. "There is much to it than just what you think."
"Well, what is it then?" Oliver enquired. Rock Flames looked at both of us then turned his back. "I shall now tell you a tale." He said. I thought, was he a school teacher before?
"Don't ignore this tale. It is more like a legend. This legend may even change your lives." He said. Well, I didn't want any change. My life was going all fine. I thought of saying no thanks and running away but as Oliver was eager to know the tale, I didn't do any such thing.
"This is the story- the legend of Raptor." Rock Flames started. Oliver and I looked at each other, exchanging glances. The word Raptor somehow got me excited. I was now as eager to listen to the story as Oliver.
Oliver and Rock Flames were standing so it felt rude for me to sit on the relaxing sofa in front of me. Standing there, I listened to the tale.
