In a lit room, a portal lit up. Weirdly, among the many places here, only this one seemed to work.
From the inside of the portal, a boy walked out.
Helkep opened his mesmerising eyes and surveyed his surroundings.
Seeing all the other portals shut down, he blinked his eyes.
'Did the situation recently stabilise?' Helkep tilted his head slightly.
He walked towards the exit and opened the door.
Just as he walked outside, a thick metallic scent drifted in his nose.
His steps paused immediately, "Blood!"
His brain began to run at its peak state, immediately allowing him to grasp the weird situation.
Without waiting, he turned around and walked towards the portal, just as he crossed half the distance, the portal shit down.

'Was this a scheme? If so then by whom? Something like this happened before as well, that time I saw Shila.' Helkep rubbed his chin before shaking his head.
'Lets walk out.' Helkep calmly started surveying the dusty passage.
