Picking up the key Tempest began unlocking her collar in front of the man. When she finally spoke again, she said.
"It was fun walking on stumps after I escaped, but as you have noticed I now have legs again."
The man chained to the wall questioned.
"How did you obtain replacements for your limbs?"
"The black market does love its top tier membership card and an unlimited untraceable credit card."
"So thats were those went I didn't bother freezing them, because I though I had simply lost them not you had stolen them."
"Hmm I knew thats exactly what you would think. Nice upgrade to the collars after my escape by the way. Explosives and a tracker a bit over kill don't you think. I mean a tracker or an explosive not both."
"We always did that sort of slave collar. It just seemed like the right time to advertise it after your high profile escape."
"The black market was a great help to escape. It got me limbs, transport, safe-houses, and weapons. Through once I had lost your cards they became useless."
Tempest finished unlocking her collar moves to another cabinet. This one filled with all sorts of tools from hack saws to hammers, most crusted with blood. Taking out a simple mallet and tapping it on the table in front to hold stuff the table shudders then rip it self to pieces. The man on the wall sees this and starts shivering.
"Don't worry old man I am not going to use that much strength" quietly Tempest adds "yet."
Taking a few steps over the man Tempest brings the hammer down on his legs pulverizing the bones. It takes a second the man lets out a couple pained screams.
"Huh that didn't hurt you as much as I though it would. However it was just as satisfying as predicted. Well wait here with you limp legs."
Tempest then walks over to the key cabinet and picks it up. Carrying the key cabinet up the stairs out of the dungeon to the waiting mass of slaves. Once in the garden Tempest puts the cabinet in the middle and shouts.
"To all of you still alive here is the cabinet with your freedom. Come and get it."
The wave of human bodies the moves is immense as he had hundreds down there. All of the slaves unlock themselves and move off to one side waiting for something. Once they are all done the pile of collars as reached over three meters tall. Observing from the side Tempest watches as someone who everyone knew came out of the crowd. The matron as she was called not a particularly powerful person but a knowledgable and smart. She was the person you tried to contact if you wanted out. Once at the forefront of the crowd she started a speech about how we should help each other and start a new civilization to try and escape the horrors of other people. Through out the speech the Matron glanced at Tempest. Tempest noticing the eyes of expectation on her dipped through the garden back to the dungeon to finish what she started. When the Matron looked again she noticed their savior was no long here. Tempest continued shattering the mans bones, amputating the limb, then cauterizing the wound. This only ended when Tempest noticed he had eyes that seemed to miss his soul. With that he decapitated the rest of the body was burned, but the head was stuck on a pike and shown to the whole city as it was stuck in the central square. I watched as everything slowly started fading out to a black room with a single occupant.
