Ynna stared into a wall in her room not knowing what to do.
"Omg. Did I really agree to do it with him? Right, I did!" She tried to keep her mouth from screaming.
Ynna's hands ran through her hair. She can't believe that she's really in a relationship with her best friend.
Sometimes, she smiles by herself without even knowing it. She really careered being a rebound but she thought of somehing, what if Kairos doesn't move on? What if Maggie and Kairos reconcile? What if they go back to what they were, will they go back? Will she be forgotten and play the role as a best friend once again?
"Right, this is not permanent." Sadness is all over her face.
She was surprised when someone called her. It's Kairos again! Even if it's not permanent, she can't stop herself from smiling.
"Hey best friend!" She answered.
She heard Kairos chuckling. Goodness. Kairos is not even laughing in front of her but her face still turns into a tomato. If only he's with her right now, she will surely faint if he laughs in front of her.
'The way he laugh is hot.'
What can she do, it's true! What more if Kairos is beside her?
"I thought we're in a relationship Ynna, why are you still calling me your best friend?" Ynna knows that Kairos is acting cute on the other line.
Her body dropped on her bed. She rolled before answering, trying to hide her excitement.
"H-huh? Right, then what should I call you?" She bit her lower lip after answering.
She can't contain herself. She's about to burst from happiness. What do they call each other? Baby? She doesn't like it, it's his endearment with Maggie. Buttercup? What are they, a song? Build me up, buttercup? Sweetheart? No, it's too corny.
"Kairos is fine, mon cheri." She pouted. But she wants an endearment!
"This is unfair! Why are you calling me mon cheri while I only call you Kairos? I don't want to call you by your name!" She said in irritation.
She can hear Kairos' heavy breath. Is he mad at her? Is she too hyper for him?
"Just call me Kairos, mon cheri. My name sounds really hot when it comes from you." She blushed. Here it comes, it's flirty Kairos.
O--kay? It felt good when he said that. His name sounds hot when she says it?
'Psh. Flirt.'
Ynna feels like she is about to go crazy. Last week, she doesn't know what to do. Now, she's all over Kairos.
She giggled, "Why are you laughing?"
Her eyes widened. She forgot that she's talking with Kairos while thinking about Kairos!
"H-huh? I remembered something funny." She said while scratching her nape.
"Oh, maybe you are thinking about how handsome I am?" Kairos grinned.
' Of course not! You are not just handsome because you are so handsome!' Ynna slapped herself. What is she thinking? If only Kairos can read her mind. You are an embarassment, Ynna.
"Are you crazy? You are jusy assuming. You know Troy, right? He's even more handsome than you." She lied. You are more handsome than him.
The truth is, she really doesn't have a crush on him. She only hears from her co-workers that Troy is famous. He's not that ugly but Kairos is still the hottest guy for her.
"Oh really? Who the hell is that Troy?" Ynna heard a cold voice from the other line.
It's like a different version of Kairos. This feels like a deja vu. Ynna's forehead rolled, "Troy, the guy on the magazine. He's really handsome." She kept on lying. She can't tell him that she's lying after all this time. She will faint from embarassment.
"Really, more handsome than me huh?" She can still hear the other version of Kairos.
'No, you are hotter than that guy!' Ynna thought.
Why is he acting like that? She doesn't want to think about it but, is he jealous? No, no, no. Of course not! Why would he be jealous? That's impossible.
"Nevermind. Let's go somewhere tomorrow. We missed our chance to watch a movie." Kairos said.
Tomorrow? Is it a date? Are they going on a date? Once again, Ynna felt happy. It felt like they are really a couple.
"Sure, I'm fine with that. Are you going to fetch me or do I go to you?" She asked him.
"Don't. Just wait for me and I'll fetch you by 8." He answered.
Ynna tried to keep herself from smiling. Maybe she should slap herself again because it feels like everything that is happening is not true.
"Alright, I will wait for you." She said.
She heard something from Kairos' side. It looks like it's about business.
"I got to go. Have a good night mon cheri." Kairos called her before ending the call.
"AAAAAH!" Ynna screamed inside of her room.
She rolled on her bed. Threw the pillows. Spinned the clothes.
"We were both young when I first saw you!"
She started to sing Love Story by Taylor Swift. Classic.
"I CLOSED MY EYES AND THE FLASHBACK STARTS, I'M STANDING THERE!"
She pointed at something then went to the balcony to continue singing.
"YOU'LL BE THE PRINCE AND I'LL BE THE PRINCESS!"
Of course, she closed her eyes to feel the song.
"IT'S A LOVE STORY, BABY JUST SAY YES!"
"What the fck?"
"Ynna!"
Her eyes widened when she heard someone call her. Ynna hid hersrlf in embarassment. It's her brother together with her parents! They looked at her with an is-she-crazy look.
"You are doing something crazy again. Do you want to fall from the balcony?" Her brother, Aziel asked.
Ynna's hands are still above the air. She slowly pulled it and returned to a normal position.
She giggled, "I'm sorry. Peace." She made a peace sign.
"Dad, Mom. I think she's crazy." Aziel shaked his head before walking out.
She's really crazy. Crazy about Kairos. Ynna pouted before biting her lower lip.
