Ynna has been walking all over her room nonstop, just like yesterday but it's a different problem today. She doesn't know what to wear. She wants to impress Kairos, she wants to be the most beautiful woman in his eyes but she still looks like a mess after hours of searching for what to wear.
"What are you doing?" Her brother startled her. He's lying on the wall while staring at her.
"Has it been a while since you have been there? Don't you have anything to do besides irritating me?" She asked her brother. It feels like her brother's hobby is to make fun of her.
"Let's just say that yes, I've been her for a while now. You've been screaming for quite some time too. What will I wear? Does this look okay? What the hell. Are you going on a date Ynna Dario? Is someone courting you? Tell me Ynna, I will punch him on the face." Aziel threatened. It might not look like it but her brother really takes care of her.
She gulped. What can she reason him with? How can she tell her about the deal with Kairos?
"Don't get angry, okay? I'm going to tell you something." She bit her lower lip.
"So I was right! Who is it? Don't lie Ynna!" Anger can be seen in Aziel's eyes.
Ynna's hand brushed onto her face, "It's not like what you think it is! Well, kind of but no. Let me explain, okay? Don't suddenly go on a rampage." Ynna said trying to calm her brother.
Ynna told him about her deal with Kairos. Shock filled her brother's face. Aziel already knew about her feelings for Kairos but he didn't know that it would come to this.
"You did that? What are you thinking? I know that you really like him but as your brother, I'm worried Ynna. Are you even thinking? You know that you will only get hurt in the end, what did you do? You became his rebound, Ynna." Aziel said in irritation.
Ynna sighed. Her brother has a point. She knows that what she's doing is wrong but she still chose to do it. It's her chance. The two already broke up so she thought—she can finally have a place in Kairos' heart.
"You're crazy sis." Aziel shaked his head.
Ynna just smiled, "I know. Please don't tell it to mom and dad. I will take care of this, hm?"
Aziel just rolled his eyes, "Whatever. Just make sure you won't get hurt. I know you Ynna." He was about to leave when Ynna pulled his shirt.
"Help me choose what to wear, please?"
Aziel frowned, "Ugh, girl things."
Ynna is wearing a little black dress with a white cardigan on top. Her curves can be seen. She's been standing in front of their gate for a while now. Excitement can be seen in her face.
Her heart pounded when she saw a glimpse of a familiar car. The beat of her heart intensified as the car gets closer to her.
"Hey." She was startled by what she heard. Kairos is already in front of her. She didn't even notice because she was busy thinking of Kairos again when the real thing is right in front of her.
"Hello." She nervously said. The truth is she started to feel more conscious when she is with Kairos. When they were still on the stage of being best friends, she never felt uneasy when it comes to him even though she has feelings for him but, now? It's a foreign feeling.
When Ynna checked every bit of Kairos, it almost felt like she fell in love all over again. He is just wearing a simple attire but it is enough to attract people's attention. His hair is even messy, maybe because the roof of his car is open and it even added to his charisma.
Kairos intertwined their hands, opened the door, and made Ynna enter the car. Her heart pounded once again. When they didn't have this kind of relationship, they also held hands but she didn't think anything of it, why now?
"You look pretty." Kairos smiled at her. What a gorgeous smile.
His smile caused Ynna to blush. Is she sure of what she heard? He really thought she's pretty? Well, Kairos used to tease her a lot, calling her ugly and all. Kairos complimenting her made her feel butterflies on her stomach.
"Uhm, you look handsome." Ynna said back.
Instead of being happy, Kairos' forehead wrinkled.
'Is he not happy because of what I said?'
"Really? Am I more handsome than the guy you are talking about?" He suddenly said. Ynna frozed like a statue, she suddenly can't move her body.
Is he jealous? She thought Kairos already forgot what she said last night. She was just lying. That Troy guy is not even attractive for her. Kairos is the most gorgeous man in her eyes!
"Y-yeah, of course." She stammered. This conversation is really making her nervous. Is this how they are going to spend their first date?
Kairos' face cleared up when he heard her say that, "If you so but I'm still more handsome than him Ynna, you really don't have any taste." Kairos smiled as he said.
'If I don't have any taste then I wouldn't be falling in love with you, you clown.' A thought inside Ynna's mind.
Why did his mood suddenly change? Is he really jealous? Of course not. Stop thinking about it, Ynna. You are only going to ruin your day. That's impossible because he doesn't have feelings for you.
"What? I was just joking but Troy, well I guess he's handsome too." She tried to act like the other boy is attractive to her.
"Stop calling him handsome Ynna for fuck's sake." She noticed that Kairos' grip tightened.
Ynna laughed at him. She annoyed him even more, "Troy is really hot. I saw the latest magazine and he was really gorgeous. Is he doing some kind of magic? Really. Why is he so handsome? That's the reason why I like him, he's really handsome--"
"One more time Ynna and I will kiss you."
She stopped at what the man said. Not just stopped but silenced. She could feel her cheeks burning.
'I will just annoy you even more if you tell me that.'
Ynna shuddered at the thought of it but she would never do that. She's sure that Kairos is only joking about kissing her. I mean, why the hell would he kiss her?
"I know a boy and he's really handsome. Do you want to know his name? He is--"
Ynna's eyes widened when she felt something soft on her lips. It was Kairos kissing her! She gasped. It was then when she returned to reality when Kairos removed his lips from hers.
"Kairos." She continued on with what she was about to say. She blushed. Kairos really did kiss her! Ynna's face turned into a tomato.
"Good."
