"Don't you think I know that?!" He roared. His voice echoed in the abandoned basement room. "I know that it was my fault and that is why I kept chasing you… again and again and again… I kept asking for forgiveness… but you just… you shut me out, Sky," he gave me an accusatory look.

Max jumped off the table and leaped at me aggressively. I flinched with fear. "You will learn to love me again, Sky." He breathed on my face. "You will. After I take his money and kill Jordan, I will take you far far away from here. Far away, Sky. You'll eventually fall in love with me again when you see how much I love you."
