Jodin looked at his niece and wanted to know for what reason she came for.
Rosy was right now in a dilemma. She wanted to avoid a marriage, but her family would force her or use ways to marry a man, she doesn't want to meet.
After she stopped sobbing and steeled her mind, she explained her situation.
„Uncle, my parents want to marry me without my consent to a man!"
Jodin guessed it already and knew this would be happening. He thought about many ways, but many led to goin against the family. They can still hold their title as Count, but their family would be angry and he knows, what they are capable of.
He remembered, when his brother clarified Bleijirk Village as one of the biggest Villages and how the economic there brought battlefields.
Unfortunately, many inhabitants suffered because of the battlefields between political powers, like Marquises or Counts.
He didn't want to participate, even if the profit would be great, he decided not to. His reason was obvious, he doesn't care about money. He has more than enough and is thankful for his prosperity he gained by birth in the family.
There was a catch, that the Underking of Bleji did and Jodin noticed it. The many officials were battling for more land and economic strategies were common.
The Underking of Bleji suddenly proclaimed a political contract and the Village signed it afterwards. The economic stabilized and it turned peaceful again.
He must had reasons for letting them sign it and the conditions were nothing more than to assure their stabilization, for allowing them to claim land.
Since then nothing noticeable happened and even the Infernal Church was silent about everything.
The Infernal Church was normally known for there participation in country or official affairs, but they were silent as well.
This got him thinking there has to be something in that Village or near, that they need to solve silently.
Since they wouldn't interfere, he planned on using this opportunity to get Rosy into safety and let her live peacefully.
„Since my brother wants to speed up things, we have to do as well. I already claimed a big shop and plan on turning it into a clothes shop. You could learn sewing and get a job. You should learn how to get money, young lady."
Rosy was happy by hearing her uncle planning it beforehand and embraced him tighter.
„Thank you, Uncle!"
She loosened up her embrace and wanted to pack, but forgot about something important.
„Wait, where is Gers?"
„Oh, you mean your pet? He was last time eating outside."
She left the office and walked down the stairs, but saw her annoying cousin and cursed her luck.
„Hey Rosy, where are you going?"
„Hey Milla, I'm planning to look for my pet outside and you?"
Milla formed a small grin and she loved to know about everything. Since she was small, she had some kind of power complex and in the age of 18, she already counted as Viscountess, which considered is a terrifying accomplishment in her age.
„Okey, have fun searching!"
She smiled and walked behind Rosy upstairs. Rosy really hated her and continued walking downstairs.
She went trough the majestic and elegant main hall to the foyer. Many male family members looked at her and greeted her, which she speedily ignored and left the mansion by the entrance doors.
The beautiful sunshine and warm breeze welcomed her. She loved the feeling of being free and not the chains.
She walked to the nearest forest, that is about 250 meters away from the mansion. Her pet Gers liked walking to forests and she searched for him there multiple times.
„Geeeerrrsssss!"
She was screaming his name and searched for him everywhere, but she was unlucky and she wondered, why is she always bad with luck.
*crack*
Branch cracking could be heard and Rosy instinctively looked behind her to search for the cause of the source.
„RAAAWWRR!"
The roar of a beast on all fours crushed against her ear drums and she was startled. It had sharps teeth, dark green skin, saliva leaking out of it's wide mouth, two horns on each side of his long skull and the grass beneath him started to wither.
She was sure by the effects of the beast it had to be a Mutated Beast with poisonous attacks and her luck was even worse.
She pulled her sword out and this was a bad situation for her. She was only in the Spirit Nurturer stage, while the Mutated Beast had to be Spirit Strengthener. She was at a disadvantage and fleeing would be impossible.
*breeze*
After Rosy positioned herself in a defending stance, she was waiting for him to attack and the Mutated Beast stood still, until a cold breeze brushed her. The Beast looked to the right and sprinted to that direction, vanishing from Rosy's sight.
She was internally happy, but after she saw the leftovers of the meal from the beast, she froze and her legs gave out in strength, resulting in her falling to the ground with her knees in front of the leftovers.
