Chapter 25 - Military Station I

2 Guards were walking on the way to the operation center of the military base, they were assigned to.

„Do you think Lieutenant Lou will listen to our request?"

The left Guard asked the Right Guard. In rankings, they were only Ensigners and the most with this rank were at the Spirit Nurturer, Peak Stage. In the world standards, that wasn't very good, but it had significant meanings for power tools, like the King or the Monarch need.

They use these people for the military, but the person in control of everything is the Fleet Admiral of the military and if he orders his subordinates, only then will it be issued.

Right now, they were on a base, divided as secondary and only acts for inner affairs happening in the city or villages nearby. They normally don't have many tasks and many people are because of that eager to join, but the Captain, leading most of the operations, is merciless. Every ensigner is scared of him and don't dare to provoke his wrath.

Only Lieutenants dare to, but they suffer as well. Therefore, many subordinates try to avoid him or complete the tasks successfully.

The Guards currently wanted to ask the Captain, but he was busy and only Lieutenants could reach him. Thus, the guards decided to ask the Lieutenant Lou, known as a promising Lieutenant with many tasks completed and is a good example for ensigners.

The Lieutenants are known as the top of the ensigners and their power equals the Spirit Strengthener, Final Stage. They can order Ensigners and have more tasks to fulfill.

They were now standing in front of the operation center, where every task gets issued from and every document is normally stored. They observe suspicious people and if their activities are classified as strange or accused, then they will be spied or abducted for interrogation.

In some cases, they get tortured until they are killed or their memories are being manipulated to forget what happened. That humans forget their wife or family was ordinary for military operations and many soldiers are used to it.

*knock* *knock*

„What is it?"

A deep voice came from the other side of the room trough the door and the Guards steeled their minds.

„Sir, we have a request, can we come in?"

It was for a moment silent, until the deep voice came again.

„Fine, come in!"

*click*

They opened the door and a man with a scar on his right arm could be seen. He was tall and his hair was tlong, reaching his shoulders, but tied. He wore a dark green cap and a simple green robe. His body was that of a gorilla and his face looked always firm.

„Tell me, what is your request?"

He asked in a simple tone and waited for their answer.

„Sir, we wanted to ask if you could pass on our request to the Captain."

The face of the man had suddenly a smirk, as if something funny happened and laughed.

„HAHAHAHAHA!!"

The Guards were confused, why he abruptly laughed and raised their eyebrows.

The Lieutenant halted his laugh and looked at the Guards, like they had be idiots.

„Wait, you are serious?!"

„Y-yes!"

The Right Guard answered honestly, causing the Lieutenant to rethink his vision of them.

„You idiots! Do you know what the Captain will do with you, if he hears your ridiculous request? I don't even need to hear it to know that!"

He screamed at them angered and tried to calm himself down.

„B-but sir! We found a kid in the Bleijirk Village with a high intelligence in the age of a three year old! He must have potential to be already that smart at that age! If we let lose of this chance, it could turn into a disadvantage against us!"

The Guards were scared of him, but tried to stay by their opinion.

Lieutenant Lou looked at their faces and studied every facial change to see, if they really meant it. His face retorted into anger and he stood up, with slamming his hands on the table.

„If you guys think so much of the kid, then take him in or abduct him and see if he disguises himself as someone else. How can you be so naive and not do the preparatory work?!"

They felt insulted and the image of them for the Lieutenant was clearly of apes, but they couldn't argue against it. He was somehow right and had to accept their mistake.

The Right Guard sighed, „Excuse us, Lieutenant Lou. We shouldn't have wasted your time!"

„Scram, before I have to do it!"

They left the office of the Lieutenant and headed to the entrance. They could only hate their ignorance for not doing it righteously and needed to first of all look over his identity.

„Should we ask Lieutenant Reko? He is in control of the documents and normally stays there."

The Left Guard was unsure, „That guy is creepy. Did you hear what he apparently did?"

„Huh? Nah, heard nothing."

The Left Guard neared to him and silently spoke in his ear.

„He apparently abducted hundreds of people and caused a mass murder, for the reason, they were strange or accused. He didn't even interrogated them and went straight to the knife to kill them. He's a psychopath!"

Unbeknownst to them, a man in the age of 26 with long dark green hair and a handsome face, with bags under his eyes, was behind them listening. He was Spirit Strengthener Final Stage and hearing the whispering was easily for him.
