Ashely suddenly turned around to look at Ella, and walked over to whisper something to her, "I asked him to bring him over so you won't be by yourself on Valentine's day, so you better don't waste the money I spent on that ticket."
"Jeez! That's so thoughtful of you! At least I won't feel left out when you and your boyfriend start chit-chatting and making out." Ella said dryly as they returned inside the concert hall.
The audience screamed in excitement as the artist and his dancers rocked the show leaving them in Awe. The beats of the songs were so high, the sound from speakers were thunderous, one would think the speakers would get damaged.
Ashley swayed her body to the rhythm of the music and rubbed her body against Dan, leaving Ella rolling her eyes. Williams who had been quiet the whole time moved closer to Ella, making her turn to look at him.
'He's good looking. Too good-looking' Ella mused as she took in his appearance. He was a dark skinned guy who stood 6ft tall. He looked really cute and smart in his vintage shirt and the short he wore and then she looked down to see his shoe. He wore a black Oxford sneaker.
Williams observed as Ella watched him and he couldn't deny the fact that she was a breathtakingly beautiful. She wore a short black gown with a V-neck, a pair of silver stud earrings and a silver chocker necklace to compliment. She was on a blonde color hair in a neat ponytail. The hair color blended well with her skin. Her face had a brush of make-up and light touch of red lipstick. Looking down at her feet, she wore a nude T-strap sandals. She looked elegant in her simple attire.
"Hello Ella! My name is Williams." He said with a smile.
"I know. Dan already did the introduction, remember?" Ella asked, returning his friendly smile.
"I was so enthralled by your beauty that I've forgotten everything else." Dan said with a flirty smile making Ella roll her eyes.
"What do you do for a living, Williams?" Ella asked.
"I'm an upcoming actor, what about you?"
"I'm an upcoming music artist." Ella said. she smiled feeling proud of her little achievements.
Ella had been so passionate about music right from a young age. She wanted to be like her late dad who was a musician. She had written down her own songs and recorded them in a studio. She always went for talent shows hoping to win so as to gain fame and the money prize to help her pursue her career in music.
She always prayed to get recognized by a big record label or get the right connections to link her to a big record label that would sign her as a member.
"I would love to listen to your songs. Judging by how pretty you look, I'm sure you sing like an angel." Williams said.
"Angel? She sings like a toad." Daniel said with a chuckle when he overheard their conversation.
"You will never get an autograph from me when I become famous." Ella promised with a giggle.
She was not yet a popular artist but she had a little fanbase from the music shows she was invited to perform and from the sales of her music online on blogs.
They danced in pairs, screaming at the top of their lungs and laughing crazily at their funny dance moves. "I feel thirsty. I need to grab a drink. Do you want something to eat or drink?" Williams asked Ella.
"Yes please." Ella said, while Dan followed Williams so he could get Ashley something too.
"So?" Ashley asked with a teasing smile.
"So what?" Ella asked innocently trying not to look at her friend in the eyes.
"Don't act like you don't know what I mean. What do you think about Williams?" Ashley asked smiling sheepishly,
"He's a nice guy," she said bluntly.
"That's all? You don't like him?" Ashley asked with a disappointed frown. She look at her friend expecting to hear something else.
"What were you expecting? Love at first sight simply because it's Valentine? C'mon, you're not that naïve." Ella said with a roll of her eyes before returning her attention to the stage.
"I'll be a star like him one day, I just need a good music label to sign me." Ella sighed dreamily.
Williams who just returned with their snacks overheard her, "Don't worry, soon enough you'll get accepted by a big music label." He assured her confidently.
Ella grabbed the cake William bought for her as she started eating immediately. She was a little bit hungry. When she finished the piece of cake, she drank her drink using a straw. William bought a two bottles of soft drinks, he opened his and took a little sip from it to quench his thirst.
"Wooohhh!!" They all clapped and cheered the artist as he ended his performance, giving thanks to his Fans for showing up for his concert before leaving through the backstage.
"It was nice meeting you, Ella." Williams said as they walked out of the concert hall. "I know you've got the voice and the style. You're going to shine, just don't give up." He added as he stretched out his arms to give Ella a warm friendly hug, then they walked out of the concert hall headed to the car park outside.
They got into Daniel's car as he drove them home. The road was quite busy as it was a Friday night coupled with the celebrations the valentine day brought.
He drove closely since it was late in the night and eventually dropped off Ella and William at their various houses, and headed to his house with Ashley.
They just arrived at his house then he stopped the car honking for his gateman to open up.
"Thank you for buying the tickets babe, today was fun!" Daniel said looking into Ashley's eyes while holding her hands to place a kiss on her the back of her palm.
"It's fine, I had fun too" she said smiling cheerfully.
