Hence, Craige and Dru fell silent for a moment at the familiar voice.
"Ah... Mom, we're just happy that Dad's getting better," said Dru, quickly covering up their conversation. However, he didn't want his father to end up embarrassed by Hence and himself at his father's taunts.
"Is that so?" Lauren asked again as her eyes circulated around the three of them.
The three of them immediately nodded their heads when they heard the question as if the three of them had coordinated well.
"You guys are suspicious," Lauren whispered as she crossed her arms over her chest. But after that, she helped carry Craige back to his room.
"Dru, can you buy me and the others some drinks?" Lauren asked Dru.
A smile and a nod of Dru's head were given to Lauren in response. Of course, he would certainly obey his mother's words without refusal.
