Chapter 13 - MAREY'S FEAR

"Luis, Luis! Why are you silent? say something don't scare me!" called Marey several times while rubbing Dean's face which looked pale.

In a semi-conscious state Dean hugged Marey tightly. Marey grew increasingly anxious, rubbing the back of Dean's cold hand over and over again.

"Luis, open your eyes Luis what's wrong with you? What do you feel? what happened to you Luis?" Marey asked, crying sadly, afraid of losing Dean.

"Marey." called Dean in a croaking voice calling out the name Marey.

"Luis, will I call the doctor? I'm afraid to see your situation like this." said Marey, rubbing Dean's half-conscious face.

"Don't Marey, I'm fine. I'll be quiet here with you." Said Dean in a weak voice, his eyes still half closed, with a very pale face and lips.

"If I don't call the doctor, your pain will get worse, Luis. You must listen to me." said Marey in a choked voice, eager to scream out of the tightness in her chest.

Feelings of guilt gripped Marey's heart and couldn't bear to see Dean's condition.

"I'm just in a little pain, Marey, I'm fine. Can you hold me tighter, Marey. I felt cold, Marey." said Dean trying to endure the pain so Marey wouldn't worry too much about him.

With Marey sadly hugging Dean tighter, Dean cried in his heart holding his chest even more painful.

"Luis, lie down ... I'm going to rub your body with eucalyptus oil so it's warm and not cold." said Marey as she laid Dean down softly. Marey painstakingly rubbed the eucalyptus oil that she had taken from her bag onto Dean's neck, stomach and feet.

After scrubbing Dean's body with eucalyptus oil, Marey took a thick blanket and covered Dean's body to feel warm.

"Now try to sleep, but you must first take the anti-pain medication." said Marey while giving Dean medicine for pain and fever.

"Now go to sleep Luis." Marey said again, after Dean took the medicine.

"How can I sleep Marey, I'm afraid that when I sleep I can't wake up anymore." said Dean staring at Marey who was tidying the blanket.

"Don't talk like that Luis, nothing will happen to you. Close your eyes now. I am here to keep you company, until you wake up." said Marey trying to calm Dean's heart.

Dean's eyes were closed but his facial movements looked restless, the thick blanket seemed unable to dispel the cold.

His body was shaking, Dean's face was pale in pain. With his body curled up, Dean endured the pain simultaneously in his chest and stomach, and all of his joints felt weak.

Dean endured the pain, not wanting the pain to make Marey worry like the previous days.

Dean's hand squeezed the end of the bolster in his arms, tears dripped down the corner of Dean's eyes because he couldn't stand the pain.

Marey accidentally saw Dean's back trembling, Marey's heart became even more guilty seeing him.

Marey grabbed Dean's forehead, where Dean's body was very cold.

Dean's face was very pale, his lower lip was trembling, there were tears running down the corners of his eyes.

"What's happening to you now Dean." screamed Marey's heart, as Dean stared at he with teary eyes.

She removed the blanket that covered Dean's body, it was clear that Dean's body was shivering with cold with both hands gripping his chest firmly.

"How is this, I'm having a hard time getting into the bed. But I have to try for Dean's sake." said Marey trying to move her legs to her feet and climb onto the bed.

With great difficulty, Marey finally got on the bed, and hugged Dean's body, who was shivering with cold.

Marey lifted Dean's back and head into her lap, then hugged Dean back so tightly.

Dean responds to what Marey did to him. Without a sound, Dean's head slid into Marey's chest, with his hands hugging Marey's waist.

Marey rubbed Dean's back gently. Marey couldn't bear to see the suffering Dean was going through.

The fear of losing Dean made her chest even more tight. Marey's tears flowed silently. A tear fell on Dean's face and Dean felt something wet on his face, warm against his cold skin.

Dean slowly opened his eyes, staring at Marey's face which was right above him.

"Are you crying again Marey? am I worrying you?" Dean's voice was deep.

Immediately Marey wiped her tears quickly, shook her head with a sad smile.

"I'm not crying Luis, and I'm not worried either. Seeing you who are so strong, and always smiling, why should I cry?" said Marey in a choked voice.

"I can be strong, and was able to survive until now because of you, Marey. I want to get well so I can be with you to make you happy for the rest of my life." said Luis's voice with a weak smile between the corners of his lips.

"I'm already with you right? you have to get well for me." Marey replied with tears in her eyes.

"Of course Marey, I'll try to get better. For you Marey." said Dean, teasing Marey a little so that she didn't get lost in her sadness and anxiety.

The pain that Dean felt eased slightly as Marey hugged and rubbed his back gently.

The chill that attacked him gradually warmed as Marey hugged him tighter.

"I promise you, Marey, I won't worry or sadden you again, I will stand by for you." said Dean to himself.

"I'm glad to hear that Luis. Now, don't you want to sleep?" Marey asked with a full gaze.

"Yes, Marey, I'm already sleepy ... you sleep here right? accompany me." Dean continued, staring at Marey's face, who looked tired.

"Em ... alright, but I'm sleeping on the sofa huh?" said Marey as he lifted Dean's head from her lap and replaced him with a pillow.

"Go to sleep now Luis ... I'll take care of you." said Marey while kissing Dean's forehead.

"Marey, I love you." Said Dean staring into Marey's face with a look full of love.

Marey smiled gently rubbing Dean's face then tried to get down and get back into her wheelchair. Marey's paralysis is not permanent, it can still be moved but is very weak and still not strong enough to stand up.

"Marey." called Dean with a serious face.

"Yes Luis, what's wrong? do you still need something?" Marey asked, turning around and approaching Dean after sitting in her wheelchair.

"Don't you love me still, Marey? Do you still love Dean, your ex-boyfriend?" asked Dean sadly.

Marey paused, looked gently at Dean's face, which still looked pale.

"Why are you silent Marey, do you still hate Dean?" Dean asked again, hoping that Marey didn't hate him.

"Would you like to hear my answer Luis? Are you curious about my heart's feelings?" Marey asked with a smile.

"Of course Marey, we've become lovers. Does my lover not love me at all. If you don't love me, why are you crying and worrying about me?" asked Dean with a deep gaze.

"All right, Mr. Luis, please listen to me." said Marey hanging her words with a smile and a seductive look.
