"Your gonna be Kassies manager?" Says Sofia. "Yes"
"No." Says Sofia. "Why not?" Says Lavern. "Well you have to handle money. You don't pay contracts and I don't think you even know how to be a Manager!" Screams Sofia. "And I'm her mother so I should be her manager!"
"Well I sign my name under the gigs! I plan everything out well! And I know how to Do paper work!" Screams Lavern. "Lavern is now Kassies manager" says the guy. Sofia's mouth drops. Lavern grabs Kassies hand and takes her behind stage to get her ready.
Kassie comes on stage. "Hello everyone!" She yells. They clapped and they cheered. Lavern,Sofia and Sarah make there way at the lighting room. They sit down and don't talk after what happened. Kassie grabs her microphone and Points at the instruments people to start playing. She starts singing. "Oh what would imagine would it be without you." She sings. She goes around the stage waving at others. "Ohhh imagine I could see what it was like withought you by my side." The guy hands her a purple rose her favorite.
She grabs it and says thank you. She sings more. "I'm her mother and I have to take care of the money." Sofia says. "No" says Lavern. Sarah gets angry for what Lavern just said. She puts her hand on the lights. Kassie was singing and then the lights was flickering on and off. Kassie stops singing. She looks around. Sarah makes neon colors. It hurts Kassies eyes.
Lavern gets up and looks around to see what's happening. She looks at Sarah and pushes her away from the buttons. They start shoving and pushing each other down on the floor leaving security to come get them. Kassie looks up only seeing them fighting and security coming and coming to get them.
The crowd takes a big turn and tell her to keep singing and don't pay attention. She was just looking at what they were doing. they were took to the Bosses room for them to pay them. "Here's 50" the boss says. They take the money and walk out.
Kassie goes thru the Hallways looking for her locker.
She finds it and sees Conner by her locker. she stands there and thinks. Conner sees Kassie and nervously waves. She walks over to her locker. She pushes Conner off her locker and opens it. "Hey Kassie" says Conner. She didn't say a word to him just grabs her next class which is history. Conner grabs her arms. She moves her arm "Leave me ALONE!" She screams. Conner stands there with his arms out while watching her walk away.
" when the night has come..And the land is dark...And the moon is the only light I can see" she says I'm the microphone. She sits down on the chair. She waves at the crowed.
Lavern was sitting in the lights Control. She was Smiling. Someone throws a purple rose on the stage. She looks down and sees the flower.
"I won't cry.." Kassie sings. She still looks at the purple rose. Her mind digs thru the Memories of The bouquet of purple roses that Conner use to always give her.
"Oh I won't shed a tear.." she picks up the rose.

The crowd claps. She smiles and waves. "You know.." she says in the microphone "here's one lesson you want to know from me.."
"Never fall in love" she says. The crowd cheers.
"There gonna break your heart just like mine did." Says Kassie. She laughs "but I'm fine now" she says. The crowed chants her name "Kassie!, Kassie, Kassie!," The crowd cheers she waves and she walks off stage.
It was May 14,1985.
It was laverns 16th birthday. Abby which is laverns mom, She gives her a necklace. "Woah!"says Kassie. Lavern looks at her Necklace. "It's pretty" says Kassie. Lavern smiles and gives it to Kassie "put it on for me will ya?" Says Lavern. Kassie picks up laverns hair and puts on the necklace.
"There!" Kassie says. Lavern gets up and goes to the mirror. She smiles and Kassie taps on her shoulder. "Here's my gift" says Kassie. Lavern takes it and opens it. It was a Pearl ring. She hugs her and Kassie hugs her back.
Abby picks up Lavern and takes her home. Kassie lays down on her bed after she was done writing in her diary. Sarah comes in from a shower. "Hey." Says Sarah.
Kassie was confused. "Wanna go to a party later?" Says Sarah. Kassie was still confused "A party later?" Sarah laughs "yes!" She says. "No" says Kassie. Sarah comes over and sits on Kassies bed. "Cmon it would be fun!" She looks at kassie. Kassie sighs "sure" she says. "Okay get ready!" Says Sarah. She runs out of the door. Kassie gets up and gets dressed. Sarah opens the Window and gives Kassie a sign to its clear.
They climb out the window and jump off the fence and run off without Sofia knowing. 30 minutes later they got to the party. It was at a abandoned house. Sarah smiles and she pushes Kassie in. Half of people from school was there. A girl comes up to them
"hey Sarah!" Says the girl. Kassie recognizes her face.
It was the collage students that
Sarah walks home with. But Sarah never went to collage. "Glad you came! Oh?" She pauses. "Is this the sister?!" Says The girl. She points at kassie. Sarah nods and the girl get closer to kassie "nice to meet you!" Says the girl "my name is D.J" she says. She puts her arms on around her and shows her around. The party was loud hurting Kassies ears.
She shows her to the table we're the drinks and beer was. D.J. Hands her a beer.
The beer was flooding all over Kassies hands. "Sorry I-I don't drink.." says Kassie. Sarah and D.J. Laugh. "Take a sip!" Says D.J. Kassie backs up and walks away. She squeezes thru People to get they the stage. She squeezes thru more people and bumps into someone and spills the drink on the other person. "I-Im sorry!.." Kassie says. The person turns around. Kassie takes a good look at that person. It was Conner.
