Her memories flushes back. It was Conner. The face the black-blondish hair. She backs up. "Kassie..." he says. She backs up and looks around. "What are you doing here?!" She says. "I was invited-" the girl that was right behind him cut him off "hi Kassie" she says. Kassie takes a good look at the girl.
It was lyla also.
Kassies memories comes back. She stands there and she starts to tear up. Sarah and D.J. Watch in the crowd of Kassie crying. "Kassie.." says Conner. "Don't you TOUCH ME!" She screams. Kassie gets angry and
Yells "Im tried of you trying to TALK TO ME and ACT innocent for what You done!" Lyla stands there watching them fight. "I'm sorry!" Says Conner
"No your not!..I know your not!"
"How do you know im not?"
She points at lyla "cause you still wouldn't be with HER!" Everyone looks at lyla in the crowd. Everyone whispers and looks at kassie. She starts to cry even more he goes up to her and hugs her. She punches his stomach.
Conner packs up from her and kinda starts to throw up.
"Is that Kassie Z. London?!" Says someone in the crowd. "It's Kassie from that restaurant!" The crowd starts to smile. Kassie looks around and sees everyone starring at her. Kassie looks back at Conner and runs thru the crowd. She makes it to the exit and walks out. Sarah pats D.J. On the back and runs the the exit. Kassie climbs in the window and still cries.
Sarah comes in from the window next and slams the window shut.
"What the hell is your problem?!" Shouts Sarah. Kassie sits on the bed covering her face.
"Huh?! Tell me?!" Sarah puts her hands on her head and runs around nervous. The door knob twist and opens, it was Sofia.
"Hey you girls are still awake?" Sofia looks at there clothes "you guys are still dressed?" She says. Kassie gets up and walks to the mirror and grabs her pajamas. Sofia closes the door and walks back to her room. Kassie walks over to the bathroom to get dressed. She comes back in the room turns off the light and digs herself into the blankets and closes her eyes.
It was raining heavy for the morning Monday. Kassie runs into the school doors with her umbrella flying everywhere.
She gets in with her hair all wet and even her rain coat. She starts to walk they the halls and sees everyone staring at her. Kassie remembers half of the people that were from her school were at the party that Sarah took her to. She finally got to her locker leaving no eye contact with anyone.
Everyone whispered when they see her in class, at lunch, and in the gym room. It was Kassies 5th period and she was ready and prepared for her time to sign out of the school. There was a tap on her shoulder. The person handed her a note. "Notes?" The note said. Kassie grabs her book and turns around and hands it to a person she never seen before.
She look confused at him. He shrugged and grabbed the notes and copied them. The bell rings and everyone walks out of the class for there next period. Kassie starts to walk for her locker to grabs some books for next class, the guy runs "hey wait!" Says the guy. Kassie turns around and sees him running towards her. He slows down and huffs and puffs and gives the notes back to Kassie.
He looks up and smiles "thank you for letting me borrow the notes" he says. She smiles back and takes the notebook. "So...you new here?" Kassie says. "Yea I'm Isaiah. We moved from Arizona" Kassie was surprised that someone moved to New York from Arizona. "Was it tiring?" She says. He laughs "of course we had to take hotels and a lot of gas money to go more farther over here!" They both laugh and walk to 6th period.
They walk in the class room and out there bags down and start getting everything ready for class. They sit next to eachother and start talking. Conner has the same class as Kassie and Isaiah so he walks in on them talking together.
Conner kinda gets jealous so he walks over. "Hey Kassie who's this?" Says Conner. Kassie doesn't say anything to him. Isaiah waves at him "my name is Isaiah. I'm new here." He says. Conner looks at Isaiah and gives him a ugly smile and walks to his desk. Kassie feels embarrassed and Isaiah notices. "Who was that?" He says. Kassie looks up. "My ex." She says. Isaiah was shocked that he was her ex. He just kept quiet.
Everyone walks out of the doors to their cars and start walking home. Kassie leans on the ramp waiting for Lavern to walk out. Isaiah sees Kassie and runs to her. "Hey!" He says. She smiles "hey!" They both talk. Lavern grabs her papers off of her desk and someone taps her on the shoulders. It was mrs.
Thomson. Lavern grabs the paper and grabs her bag and takes off. She stops in the hallway and looks at the paper. It was Next grade classes and sign ups.
She covers her face in stress. Lavern slowly walks away.
She comes out looking for Kassie and spots her. "Kassie!" Shouts Lavern. Kassie looks and waves at kassie. Isaiah waves goodbye to Kassie and Lavern and walks home. She points. "Seriously classes?" Lavern looks up at her. "Yep." Sarah stuffs her face with chips. "Haha..I had to do that 8 years ago!"
They both ignore her. Lavern starts to sweat. She shoves the paper in her bag and takes out candy for the sleepover.
It was 2 o'clock. Sarah is still asleep and Lavern and Kassie are still awake talking.
"So who was Isaiah hm?" Lavern starts to poke at Kassies shoulder "no one special!" Kassie says. Lavern laughs "no seriously tell me who he is"
"He's a new kid"
"Oh new kid? You like him?"
Kassie gives Lavern a look. "No I do not like him..remember-"
"I'm not falling in love, i know I know" Lavern lays down.
"How much money?" Kassie says.
"125"
"I think it's enough."
Kassie lays down next to Lavern. "Should we start leaving slowly?" Lavern says
"Yes we will start tomorrow."
