"...At your service," while finishing his self-introduction, Max began to bow. Not those half-hearted bows you see in tv shows, his body was perfectly 45° as if he had done this so much it had become second nature to him. Seeing his overly polite actions, even the originally composed Gerald began making a fuss.
'Woah, Ann is this some guy from your family?' Gerald asked.
'No... I don't recognize anyone of that name, plus, I was abandoned as a baby, making it unlikely for me to even remember them,' she responded
After their small exchange, Gerald finally decided to speak up first:
"So back to my earlier question; why have you come here?"
Max's face blanked for a few moments, before lighting up. He hurriedly got up and began searching his coat pocket. In a few seconds, retrieving a small envelope, he opened it and cleared his throat, clearly intending to read it aloud.
"Dear Children,"
'...Children?'
"I hope this finds you in good health, and if it will serve you any good, I hope to apologize to both of you. It has been far too long since I've seen your faces, so forgive me if I confuse myself,"
'Who is this guy?'
'Shh, let him talk,'
"Antoinette, my sweet darling, you were as lovely as the shining stars in the sky, I remember, only a few decades ago, when the stars were bright and beautiful; how your father... my godson, and your mother... my daughter, stood under the night sky, their eyes twinkling in delight when they heard you were in your mother; Oh, If only you could have seen her face when he declared to pluck the night's stars for you if you wished for it!"
'Ooh, looks like someone was born special,'
'Shut it,'
After a slight pause, Max began reading again, this time though, both of them noticed how this section had a different style of writing.
'Someone else is talking,'
'Yeah,'
"And, Gerald, Oh dearie me, although I haven't seen how you've grown from that wee babe in the cot to the big strong man you are now, I know you must be doing wonderful! After all, your lovely Antoinette's been by your side, Hmm?"
'Love her all for it,'
'I'll kick you if you don't shut up right now...'
"...I'm sure, the world has been harsh to both of you. Your pathetic grandparents couldn't even pave the way for you to grow up safe and sound, having to leave both of you in an orphanage, to fend for yourselves, It brings this old woman to tears,"
Max paused again, this time though, his eyes began to turn red, as he began to read the last part of the letter, it was a mish-mash of both styles of writing, some were written by the grandfather, and some were finished by the grandmother.
"I... Have no doubt, you were both phenomenal children, the only ones in the world to have any sign of telekinesis, truly a special power. Both a gift from the gods... And a curse foretelling our families ruin,"
"It pains me to say this, but we... are unfortunately on our last legs, and by the time our dear Maxwell is reading this to you now, we... will have already departed, So we have decided together: no longer will we keep the both of you in the dark, It's time for you to learn the truth,"
"Our families, The Williams and Lynd's, have been for generations, arms manufacturers, we controlled almost every munitions company in the world during the 2010s to 2090s,"
"Barrett, PGM, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing to name a few... They were managed financially by the Lynd's,"
"While we, the Williams, were the makers of every single blueprint that has ever, or will ever come out of their factories,"
'Wait... weren't all these companies the ones that...'
'Yes, the 2091 Global Munitions Terrorism Treaty, GMTT'
"But we were betrayed... By our very own; An auxiliary company, known as Accel steel provided our Iron and were our trusted partner, this time though, they used a special alloy in one of their deliveries, designed to explode whenever coming in contact with temperatures over 50°C. This cause the destruction of most, if not all the weapons made by us in the exact same time,"
"And so the GMTT was put into place, effectively crippling the ability of private companies to make weapons profitably, Naturally, state-owned companies became the more popular option, with their relatively low cost in exchange for lower quality arms,"
"Oh dear, We tried everything we could, but nothing seemed to work, so eventually, we ran out of funds to keep these companies alive, and one by one... we filed for bankruptcy; First was Boeing, then PGM, and after Barrett fell, the rest went down like dominoes,"
'Woah, didn't know something like that happened,'
'Shut it, dingus. You can quip all you want after it's over,'
"What's worse... is that they didn't just intend to put us out of business. No, our lives were something we had to give up as well,"
"The animals took your father's life, Antoinette, then your mother, cousins, aunts and eventually, only Me, Max and Agnes were left, since we had already predicted something of this effect happening, we had already turned you over to a trusted friend of ours, who owns St. Lewis,"
Getting this far into the letter, Max was just about ready to break down in tears, while both Gerald and Ann had incomprehensible expressions on their faces. Nonetheless, Max continued, although crocodile tears were already falling down his cheeks, he continued to read in a monotone voice, just so they could clearly feel the intent of the letter for themselves.
"Since this letter has been, unfortunately, sent to you, the chances of us meeting are slim to none, so let this old man give you... a parting gift: Inside this envelope is a 5.5 million dollar cheque and the deed to our last weapon factory in Britain,"
"Inside the factory, dozens of blueprints hide in plain sight, all you have to do is find them, most of the firearms, but there are other, far more dangerous things, Bioweapons, chemical weaponry, explosives and Ω-nuclear weapons,"
"Use them how you will, we have no right to stop your actions, but remember this, there are more, factories just like the one her scattered across the globe, each giving a piece of our magnum opus: the Ultima series. Sell it, use it as leverage, give it away if you want. All we want is for you to use these last remains to be happy,"
"I love you both, children... Happy hunting,"
Love, Agnes Lynd & Orion Williams
Finally, after finishing the letter, Max began crying his heart out, snot and tears mixed to make a truly depressing scene, even Ann began tearing up at the sight, and though Gerald looked unperturbed, only he knew the emotions he truly felt.
'Poor man had to endure all of that just to deliver this letter'

1 day later, 4:59 PM
On the outskirts of West London, a lone factory stands, it's huge grey metallic walls over 20 meters tall a sight to be sure, and a presence overwhelming to anybody. And standing in front of the giant factory, were three figures, 2 male, 1 female. They were naturally Ann, Gerald and Max.
In Gerald's hand, a key card, it's bright orange colour giving the impression of liveliness, though the thing it unlocks were far from lively. After all, in the doors of those factories were weapons far ahead of their time; Weapons capable of mass destruction.
Finally, as they overcame the realization of what's inside, Ann nudged Gerald, gesturing for him to open the doors. Slightly sulking, Gerald finally relented after her nudges turned into light slaps, and he began to trudge slowly forward, and after a few moments of hesitation, swiped the keycard over the card reader slowly.
-BEEP!-
Slowly, the giant metallic wall split open, the dust and dirt particles coating the wall began to blow out in all directions, and when it finally calmed down, and what was revealed to the trio could only be considered a miracle. Taking a few moments until they finally comprehended the sight before them, they all had their jaws dropped to the floor in shock.
