Eros took in a deep breath as he looked out the window [ We're almost there ] and again Pashidowl was in his head " I'm curious about how this trip will end " [ You say that like we're not in this together ]
Pashidowl laughed playfully " The worst that could happen is we fail miserably, I have to wait a long time to find another suitable host and you lose your power and/or die ". Eros furrowed his brows [ So all or nothing then ]
Dodwen's voice suddenly interrupted their talk as he jumped up, " We're finally here " [ This has been agonising ] He looked out the window and started laughing hysterically, " Freedom ".
Eros shook his head slightly and there was a small Pashidowl on his shoulder, whispering into his ear " The first important question is who are you going to pick to stay in a room with you "?
Eros made to swat him away and he disappeared quicker. Dodwen looked at him, " Did you say something Eros "? Eros shook his head, " Not all. Must be the excitement ".
The silence in the carriage was beginning to suffocate Dimitri [ We haven't gone this long without insulting each other ] He glanced at her and saw her staring at her hands.
" What are you doing "? She looked at him, confused as she raised her hands and showed him the blue nail polish on them, " My skin seems so fresh and young ". Dimitri sighed [ She seems fine to me ] but she went on, " I'm an old woman you see. Not to toot my own horn but I'm a bit wrinkled here and there ".
Dimitri looked at her closely, " You're joking ". She shook her head as she touched her face, " I think my face is even the wrong shape and its as smooth as marble all of a sudden ". Dimitri got up and crossed to the other side, " If you wanted to see yourself so badly, you should have just said something ".
Dimitri held out a hand mirror with a bored expression and Nova's smile disappeared immediately she saw her reflection and she screamed, " Who's face is that "? Moving back, she was so agitated she ended up filling the carriage with snow and she screamed again.
Dimitri crawled out from the snow that had taken him to the floor and saw her standing on the chair, " What's wrong with you "? She pointed at him, " I should be asking you that and what did you do to me? Why am I shooting snow from my hands "?
Dimitri got up and carried her down, " This joke of yours isn't funny ". Nova looked him up and down, " You listen here pretty boy, take me back home ". Dimitri made a disgusted face, " Pretty boy? What do you mean pretty boy "?
She put her finger to his chest, " Take me home pretty boy ". Dimitri sighed, " I have a name ". Nova smirked again, leaning forward " Well, what is it pretty boy "? Dimitri looked away from her, trying not to lose his temper " It's Dimitri ".
Nova nodded slightly, " Nice name young man ". Dimitri rolled his eyes and Nova put her hand to her chest, " I'm not sure what you've done to me or where I am but my name's Pollen and I hope you'll take me back home. I must get fresh sunflowers for my sister ".
