Famo and Resna had taken a different route to the Season's Castle to join the other elders to welcome the children as per custom. Resna smiled contently as she walked out of the castle [ It does seem nice here ]
She heard a disgusted grunt coming from behind, " Poor job on the cleaning though ". Arthur laughed heartily from the stairs, " A perfectionist as always Anala ". The woman in particular had a somewhat stern expression on her face.
Her hair was once a bright fiery pink but had now turned completely white at the roots with the ends of her hair turning into a curly pale pink ponytail, " Nice to see your as peppy as usual ".
There was a soft sigh from the door as a tall man with shiny curly starch blonde hair and rectangle rimless glasses appeared, " Can we just get this over with. It's cold ". Arthur seemed even happier as he held his hands out and walked towards him, " Ottis. You look so good. Been a while since I saw you when your head wasn't in a book though ".
Otis shook his head as he backed away, " No Arthur ". Arthur nodded his head with a smile as he closed the distance between them and put him in a hug, " You never even came to visit. You hurt my feelings ".
Otis set his glasses as Arthur let him go, " Would you believe I didn't get any letters? And even if I did, it never got to me ". Arthur nodded, " No matter, I shall surprise you with a visit anyways ".
Resna intertwined her hands as she watched them all [ I never imagined I'd stand so casually among rulers, talk less of seeing them act so naturally ] She laughed softly to herself, " Surprises me every time ".
" As self centered as always, I see ", Kira walked with Famo and he laughed, " Forgive me, iron wall ". Kira frowned slightly, " I told you to stop calling me that ". Famo rolled his eyes casually, " And you'll have to keep doing that ".
Resna laughed uneasily [ I just hope those two won't constantly be at each others throats the whole time ] " They're almost here Famo ". Famo nodded and walked towards her with a smile, " As dashing as always ".
Resna smiled slightly as they began to walk, " Only you'd think that, but thank you ". He smiled all the same as he put his arm over her shoulders casually, " I'm gonna keep saying that till you finally agree with me ".
She laughed softly and he kissed her even paler sky blue hair, " Since it is true ". They all walked outside, servants and guards in all. The front yard was massive with a fountain in the middle that led to three beautiful curved staircases.
There was a tall black iron fence, about ten feet tall and a heavy black gate with the words SEASONS CASTLE written boldly on top. The fences were lined with shrubs and pine just as tall, making it hard to see the other side. The flowers and plants in the flower bed were slowly wilting as well.
The carriages came in one by one, all stopping around the fountain. Arthur and the others who were at the top of the stairs watched as they all slowly came out of the carriage and either gave a low bow or curtsey.
Arthur took a step forward and raised his hands high, " Welcome one, welcome all to Seasons Castle ". He watched them all stand back up and gave himself a pat on the back [ Nailed it ]
