The latest King Andrew, after conquering his neighboring Kingdoms and united them all under his command, became the Emperor of the entire region. He was a great ruler of his Empire, and everyone honor and respected him.
The Emperor and Empress Eleanor welcomed two children fruit of their love; to whom they named Arthur and Angela.
Arthur was three years older than his beloved sister. However the love and respect which they treated each other, was one of the best characteristics that defined the strong bound between the siblings.
Emperor Andrew was an affectionate man, happy to dote upon his children. Besides being an excellent father, he was an exceptional husband, and loyal to his beloved Eleanor.
Both of them loved their kids immensely.
Sophie was born the third child of Louis, the Duke of North-Bell and Amanda Rose, the Duchess. She joined two older siblings, Markus and Margaret.
Sophie's upbringing was mostly dictated by her mother, who was a hands-on parents thanks to a largely unhappy marriage. While Louis and Amanda Rose had the makings of a solid relationship and were fond of one another; Louis was a pathological philanderer, who was often in lust and never in love, which Amanda ignored by focusing almost obsessively on her children.
The Duchess was the central figure in her children's lives. She was an attentive and loving mother.
Sophie liked literature, she loved reading poetry, and appreciating the arts at the court. The young lady had a willowy, queenly figure, and genteel personality. Her beauteous emerald green eyes were the hue of the new spring growth, bright and soft all at once, it matched her porcelain skin. Her cascade hair was ore-gold bright and luxurious, it reached her slim waist. She spent most of her young adulthood completely besotted with the Crown Prince Arthur Seymour.
Arthur and Markus had been friends since childhood, a bond that had only deepened when they both became engaged to each other's sisters.
The two families became significantly closer when Princess Angela became engaged to Marquess Markus, (Sophie's brother).
She was twenty years old, and Markus twenty-six.
Princess Angela was extremely beautiful, and her angelic features drove Markus crazy in love for her.
She had a slim, hourglass figure, and deep sapphire blue eyes that sparkle from the inside out. Her sunrise-gold hair reached her waist, and her skin was perfect and glowing. She had heart shaped lips, that were kiss-inspiring and satin soft.
She was also extraordinarily intelligent, elegant and sophisticated.
Markus had all the necessary components and features neatly fitted into his physical appearance. He was clearcut man, with precise features, had straight, sculptured shoulders, a soft blonde hair, and thoughtful green eyes. He had a look of wariness, which could change when he felt relaxed or happy, into a smile of amused friendliness and pleasure which aroused feelings of warmth, and something more, in Angela.
However Angela's exuberant beauty caught the eye of a number of her royal cousins, and noblemen that attended the Royal Ball on the occasion of her engagement with Markus, and many of them asked the Emperor to reconsider giving his daughter's hand to the duke's son, as there were better courtiers than him, willing to take the Princess as their wife.
The Emperor firmly refused to their requests, and none of them dared to contradict his final decision.
The lavish banquet was held followed by music and dancing, which the engaged couple thoroughly enjoyed.
While Markus danced with the Princess, he made her a promise to give his life for her if necessary, to be always faithful, to honor, love, respect, and protect his beloved princess.
Angela listened to his words attentively, and felt her heart fluttered while he looked into her eyes to make the oath.
Markus was not proud of how his father behaved with his mother, betraying her whenever he could.
He was completely different from Duke Louis in every way. All he wanted was to have a happy marriage with Angela, and to form a loving family with her.
During the banquet feast Prince Arthur seated beside Sophie, and the two quickly got along.
The Crown Prince was five years older than her, he had grown into a tall and good-looking young man. He was a man who embodied perfect and unfaltering masculinity, with powerful shoulders, a fierce dark blue eyes that seemed to flash and glitter with an attractive manly smile. He was outstanding in complexion, in feature, in manners, and in voice. All his movements were large and perfectly balanced, like a real King.
Arthur had fallen in love with Sophie at the first sight. The two spent time together regularly. They laughed at the same sort of things. Both of them began writing letters to one another, when they couldn't see each other.
He was attracted to Sophie's beauty, sweet and elegant personality, and Sophie to his kindness and handsomeness. The couple were desperately in love with each other, and when he proposed to her, she eagerly accepted. She was the only woman with whom he would be happy to spend the rest of his life.
The match had the approval of their family who were overjoyed with the good news.
Although Princess Angela and Markus got engaged first than their respective siblings, it was the Crown Prince wedding the one that took place.
At the ripe old age of twenty-two, Sophie and Arthur were married in the private chapel at The Great Palace, one of the Emperor more luscious residence, located in Woodland, no far from Dawfill the Capital of Turon.
That same day the coronation of King Arthur took place.
At the end of the ceremony, the couple knelt before Empress Eleanor and Emperor Andrew to receive their blessing. To mark the occasion, Duke Louis bestowed on his daughter a mansion in North-Bell, for the couple to use when they were in the City. That was the best wedding gift given by the Duke to his daughter.
The house was a perfect paradise, it all seemed like a dream.
After their wedding, Arthur and Sophie spent their honeymoon in North-Bell, and weeks later the couple moved to The Royal Castle in Whitlow.
The marriage of Princess Angela and Markus was celebrated one year following their siblings wedding. It was a completely success. Their devotion to one another only strengthened as the years went on.
The couple had a happy marriage and Markus fit in well with the Royal Family.
Two years later Duke Louis died unexpectedly in North-Bell, and was succeeded by his son Marcus.
Queen Sophie and her husband hurried to the city to grieve privately with their family.
Though Margaret, played a key role alongside her newly widowed mother, she was determined to become a nun with the expressed purpose of redeeming her father's soul and seeking forgiveness for his sins, which made a public statement that she disapproved of his dissolute lifestyle.
