After that incident, Lisa and Mahriise brought back Huck to their initial hut and base and took care of him for a while. He was unresponsive upon laying down in their shelter. It would be surprising if he can still act joyful and positive after what happened to him. It wasn't just a case of him getting suicidal or accidentally getting himself into trouble but it also has something to do with his internal crisis in which he couldn't figure out what was he supposed to do.
Lisa and Mahrisse glanced at him with a worried expression, they could try and cheer him up but they have decided to abstain from doing so as it would only have the opposite effect. What he needs right now is some time alone in order to organize his thoughts and sort out unnecessary feelings to get back on track.
