Chapter 4 - 004: First Love?

Two male nurses pulled Vulcan down the hallway, forcefully by the arms. They were hurting Vulcan. It almost felt like Vulcan's arms were going to pop off or the blood inside his veins were going to pop out of his skin. The doctors were the ones who frightened Vulcan the most.

The four doctors and nurses escorted Vulcan to a room. The red head doctor took a card from his white lab coat pocket and slid it on the door's scanner. The nurses pulled Vulcan into the dark room before the doctor with the orange colored hair switched on the lights.

The nurses who had ahold of Vulcan took him to the other side of the room to where an operating table had been waiting. They lifted Vulcan up and carried him to it. They strapped his wrists and ankles to the table.

Vulcan had no idea what was going to happen. Whatever this room was, it had strange tools and equipment like the first room he had been in. This room frightened him the most.

"I thought this one was going to be successful." Said the red haired doctor to the other three. The group of doctors was standing next to a touch screen computer. He began tapping on the screen, seeming to be turning things on in the room.

The doctor went over to Vulcan, grabbing something from under it. It was a syringe and small bottle of some kind of clear liquid. Vulcan watched the man insert the syringe's needle into the bottle. The man gently pulled the plunge plunger out, watching the liquid rise into though the hub and stop inside the barrel.

The orange haired doctor went over to Vulcan, now carrying a metal neck brace with Vulcan's SVA nickname. Vulcan grimaced, feeling the cold metal against his skin and the harsh way the man snapped it around his neck.

The doctor with the red hair grabbed Vulcan's arm, feeling around for a vain. It seemed these people did not care where they stuck a needle.

Vulcan grimaced again, feeling the cold needle slowly into his skin. He could feel the needle enter his vein. Breathing hard, feeling the liquid sting him from the inside. Soon Vulcan's vision became blurry, starring up at the doctor who watched him slowly crash.

.

"Under the knife I surrender"

.

Vulcan's breathing increased, his chest quickly moving up and down. His own memories clouded his vision, Flashing right before his eyes.

.

"The innocence yours to consume"

.

The doctor watching him from above, exciting him. Seeing a patient freak out over the injection. Every other patient had fought back against him, but this one was too terrified to do anything. "Such an innocent little thing." He said.

.

"You cut it away"

.

"And you fill me up with hate"

.

Vulcan's vision became even more blurry by the second, pain attacking his right arm. The pain moved up to his shoulder, slowly starting tp spread all over the inside of his body. What was happening?

.

"Into the silence you send me"

.

Vulcan's began going in and out of consciousness. He had no idea what was happening to him. His body felt like it was on fire, though it wasn't the same pain he had felt during the cult years ago. His eyes went back and forth, switch from light baby blue to black eyes with red slits. This repeated as Vulcan tried to tear himself from the table. The fearful state leaving him only for a moment.

.

"Into the fire I consumed"

.

Vulcan's pain the suddenly consumed his body, causing him to scream out in shear pain. He closed his eyes tightly.

.

"You thought I'd forget"

.

Then the pain suddenly stopped and Vulcan fell silent. The pain had only lasted for a moment. He stared up at the ceiling, slowly beginning to pass out. What was happening to him?

.

"But it's always in my head"

.

Vulcan's breathing slowed down, his vision becoming blurry once again. He continued to stare up at the ceiling with fearful eyes. His eyes slowly started to close as the other doctors came closer to him. Then his vision went black, Vulcan going unconscious.

Vulcan laid unconsciously on his bed, back on the unit. He was lying on his bed with his arms up and his hands next to his head. His legs were sprawled a little at the knees.

Mifflie was sitting on his bed, waiting for Vulcan to wake up. His brother was also sitting up on his own bed. Miffie and Astruxen were talking to one another.

Vulcan could hear some of what they were saying, but couldn't hear the rest. Only because he was going in and out of consciousness from whatever that doctor had injected him with.

"Miffie," Said Astruxen, "Is he awake?"

Miffie looked over at Vulcan before shaking his head, "No."

Past memories filled Vulcan's head. His head was swimming, begging for it to stop. Vulcan always was scared of seeing that man again. His face would never leave his mind. What a place to be seeing him.

Suddenly red, blue, green, and purple lights flickered to life on Vulcan's neck brace, indicating that the neck brace was activating. Vulcan's nickname appeared on the nameplate of his neck brace. In just three letters it spelled out "Sen".

"He's awake," Miffie said to his brother, looking in Vulcan's direction. He watched the neck brace come to life.

Vulcan open his eyes, silently. He stared up at the ceiling for a moment as Miffle stared at him in silence. As if to wait for him to say something first. It wasn't long until Vulcan looked at Miffie.

"Sen... Are you all right?" He asked, worried.

Vulcan only nodded silently.

"H... Sen?"

"Yes?" Vulcan asked as he sat up.

Miffie starred at him. Seeming like he was watching him more than he was looking. "Sen, you should meet my brother."

"Oh.." Vulcan nodded, "Okay."

Miffie moved to the other side of his bed before looking at his brother. Astruxen laid his eyes on Vulcan and stared for a little bit.

Vulcan looked at him. He looked almost exactly the same as Miffie, but with white hair and black roots. Vulcan looked at Miffie for a bit before looking back at Astruxen. Then he looked back at Miffie, then at Astruxen. "Hello..." Vulcan softly greeted.

"Hi." He greeted back.

"I'm Vulcan." Vulcan said.

"I know," He replied, "Miffie told me."

Vulcan nodded and looked at Miffie.

"My name is Luka." Astruxen introduced himself. His neck brace had his nickname, "Astruxen." Nobody was allowed to call each other by their birth names, but the three of them didn't care. They did it always, knowing there was something fishy about Silver Vale Asylum.

Vulcan looked at Luka and nodded.

"We're triplets." Explained Miffie. "Our oldest triplet is Luna."

Miffie was called to the front desk for something out in the hallway. Miffie silently got up from his bed and headed out the room.

Luka said on his bed, facing Vulcan. Vulcan wasn't making eye contact. Luka wasn't making eye contact either. Luka seemed really tired from sleeping all they time. Vulcan could tell by his eyes.

"What are you?" Vulcan asked Luka. Vulcan knew Miffie was part demon and part Vinx, but he wasn't sure what Luka was. Luka certainly didn't act like what a demon would.

"Corrupted Angel." Answered Luka, "My brother and sister and I were created."

"Ah," Vulcan replied, looking over his shoulder. Looking to see if Miffie was coming back.

"I need a boyfriend." Luka randomly said.

Vulcan seemed a little confused by what Luka told him. Though, he didn't ask. He looked back at him, "Not a girlfriend?"

"I don't mind who I get," He said, "I'm bisexual.."

"Ah." Vulcan replied, looking back over his shoulder. Vulcan wasn't exactly sure what sexuality he was, but he guessed bisexual due to his anatomy.

Luka nodded, looking over at the door.

Vulcan was actually scared of relationships because of his anatomy. He never asked anybody, nor did anybody had ever asked him to be in a relationship with him or that person. Though, Vulcan thought that maybe he should try. Maybe it would come out good. Vulcan didn't go by looks, he went by personality. Though, hygiene was a must, he knew that if a person really loved you, they would be with you through thick and thin. No matter where you been, what you did, or what you said. People can change. Sometimes people change slowly, or fast, but you certainly can't change over night. You have to have practice until you can know for certain you have changed.

Vulcan looked back at Luka, "Well... you can ask me if you want to." Vulcan nervously turned his attention back on the door.

Luka looked off into the distance, seeming like he was thinking.

Vulcan wasn't planning on begging for it. If it was a no, then it was a no.

Luke made his decision after a few seconds. "All right," He said, "Will you be my boyfriend?"

Vulcan slowly looked back at Luka. He stared at him, almost surprised it was a yes. Almost surprised Luka had made his decision.

Luka stared back, waiting for Vulcan to answer.

Vulcan's eyes softened. "Yes. Sure." He said," Why not."

Luka nodded, closing his eyes. He stood up from his bed and walked around. He went over to Vulcan and sat down next to him. Vulcan nervously looked at him. Luka looked back, their eyes locking. They stared at one another.

Vulcan quickly snapped his eyes away, turning his head. He looked his eyes, a pale red appearing on his cheeks. They weren't allowed to make contact. The nurses would have separated them. They would have put one of them in another room where they could never see each other.

Luka smiled, wrapping his right arm around Vulcan. This caused Vulcan to softly squeak and gently jolt from the older male touching his waist.

"Cute." Luka's smile grew bigger and he pulled Vulcan into his lap.

"We aren't supposed to be doing this-" Vulcan whispered nervously. He looked at him, his face close to Luka's.

Luka laid his head against his head and closed his eyes. He wrapped his arms around Vulcan's waist.

Vulcan was surprised. How could somebody do this with a person like him? How could anybody hold him like this? Did Luka not realize Vulcan was both... Vulcan decided to close his eyes. It made him smile gently.

Miffie came back into the room after a few minutes. Luka was sitting on Miffie's bed across from Vulcan. Miffie seen his brother smiling for the first time in a few months.

Luka smiled at Vulcan. His smile was beautiful to Vulcan. It's been a long time since Vulcan had seen a smile as beautiful as this one. Vulcan smiled back at Luka. Vulcan's smile had always been gentle and sometimes it look like a smirk. It wasn't a his real smile, though. He has lost his smile after he had became a victim of a cult 4 years ago. Only that Pureblood Vampire Prince had blooded me. The Pureblood had the same gentle smile. It was almost as if he had given Vulcan that smile.

Miffie walked to the two, wondering what was going on.

Luka and Vulcan looked up at Miffie.

Miffie stayed silent, thinking about something.

"Hey..." Vulcan nervously began, "Can I uh..."

Miffie and Luka looked at Vulcan.

"Can I... call... both of you by... your real names...?"

"Sure," Luka answered.

"Go ahead." Miffie replied.

Vulcan had met a 13 year old girl, who had came to the asylum with Luka and Miffie. Miffie had blooded her in front of me because she had tried hurting herself multiple times. It seemed Akrina had a troublesome life and it seemed to be affecting her.

Miffie was the strongest out of his triplets. He was able to somehow use his powers and abilities without his neck brace affecting him. It made Vulcan wonder if Vulcan was able to do that, though it was possible he couldn't.

Miffie had waited until a male or female nurse wasn't looking and took Akri's hand. The girl had already wounded herself at the time, so Miffie didn't have to make a wound, himself. Miffie gave Akri some of his own blood.

It had made Akri sad afterward, but he accepted what was done. he kept quiet about it.

Vulcan looked down the Akri. She had long light purple hair with black streaks and her skin was the color of limestone and she was smaller than him. he was thinking about something. She seemed part human, but Vulcan wasn't exactly sure about that. Vulcan was only aware he was the only human on the ward.

Miffie had went to the front desk to ask a nurse a question.

Vulcan tried hard to listen to what Miffie was asking the nurse. Since he had that neck brace around his neck, he couldn't hear one word. He couldn't hear anything like he used to. His hearing ability was like the average human's, like as if it had been switched off.

Miffie walked back to Vulcan and Akri.

Vulcan looked up, "What is it?"

Miffie looked back at him, "I asked if we were able to go outside."

"And what did she say?"

"She said we can do whatever we want, as long as if we don't walk off the war, attack people, or anything that can get us restrained." Miffie said, "And we also have to have a nurse with us. Just a female nurse, gladly."

A female nurse had walked pass the three, heading down the hallway. It seemed she was the one who who was supposed to be in charge of them for the time being.

"I guess we go with her..." Miffie said, starting to follow the nurse.

Akri and Vulcan followed after Miffle.
