INT: FOREST – DAY.
"Let go of me you mean vampire." I yelled at him.
Olivia's POV.
He tied me to a tree; I stared at him as he started a camp fire preparing his soup.
Was he going to cook me? I thought. Whatever way I have to find a way to get out.
"Shut up stupid girl. You are my breakfast now." He said sternly.
I scowled. "You should be ashame of yourself; stalking and grabing a lady in the forest."
He laughs hysterically. "You're calling me a womaniser? I am not that kind of man, I am only going to eat you."
I frowned deeply; obviously that wasn't what I meant. I sighed. I knew he was mischievous from the onset.
"So you are going to cook me?" I asked staring at the fire and his pot of soup.
"Of course, what else do you think I would do with you?" He smiled mischievously.
I gulped very hard. "I thought vampires do eat people raw." I said mockingly.
"Hey!" He exclaimed. "I'm civilised, I can't eat you raw. But I will first drink your blood."
"Hmm." I hummed contemplatively; I think he was a young vampire, a little bit above my age maybe, else he would know that if a Xphynx dies it's body doesn't remain on Earth, instead it dissolves into shinning dust particles.
I wasn't going to tell him that else he would kill immediately.
I sighed. Where was Ethan now? I thought.
"Why on Earth would you eat someone." I asked.
He sighed frustratedly; I was causing a big distraction for him. It was the only way to remain alive.
"Listen Breakfast. I don't eat people, I'm much more civilised than that. But it turned out you are a Xphynx, you are irresistible. It won't hurt having you for breakfast." He explained.
My frown deepened; he was selfish. "My name is Olivia not Breakfast."
He smirks. "I'm Einstein. In case you are asked in the afterlife who killed you, you can say Einstein did."
"You're crazy man." I snapped.
"What?!" He exclaimed. "Am I not good enough to kill you?"
Sincerely speaking he was a jovial man, and ironically coming from me he was a nice man. I think he was just trying to be bad. If it wasn't my life on the line, I would be on the floor laughing right now.
"You are a traveler, I guess?" I asked.
He sighed. "Of course, I was going to L'rindell before I met you." He said.
"Could you please just let me go.
The rope is killing me, it's too tight." I pleaded.
"Just shut up and be a good girl." He yelled.
I pout.
"It's such a good thing I found you. No one would mess with me again or call me stupid. I would be called. Umm... The Immortal Vampire Lord Einstein." He laughs hysterically.
I scoffed, he wanted my blood to boost his ego. Cruel world. I thought.
"Morelike stupid Einstein." I jest; it was obvious I wasn't good at that.
He stood up to meet me making my heart skip a beat. He sniffed on my neck.
He smirks. "You know." He began. "You are a beautiful woman, you could make a good wife except for that you talk too much."
"I will never marry you, not even a vampire." I blurted out.
"Jeez!" He exclaimed. "Cool down, it's obvious I can't protect you or keep you to myself. So I will just have to drink your blood, then cook your body and eat you." He said.
I stared at him; that was hilarious.
I heard footsteps behind him, it's obvious he heard it too because he turned to look who it was.
I sighed relieve. "Ethan."
"Stay away from her." Ethan said.
He looked so fierce and dreadful that moment that although I was relieve I was kinda scared.
"Ow... A werewolf. Well I found her first. I'm not sharing." Einstein snapped.
Ethan graped Einstein on the throat, his claws piercing through his neck.
"Ethan no." I said calmly.
Ethan stared at me; his eyes bluer than ever, filled with rage and he was taking it on Einstein.
Blood gushed profusely from Einstein's neck, Ethan was choking him to dead. He lifted him up a few inches from the ground.
I couldn't watch.
Ethan tossed him to the air, were he hits his back against a tree.
Einstein groans in pain.
Ethan stared at me like a predator sizing it's prey, he wasn't himself. My heart threatened to pop out of my mouth any sooner.
He strolled to meet me. His beards out and ruffled, his fangs so long that I fear he might bite his tongue by accident.
He loosen the rope.
I tried to go but he pinned me back to the tree dominantly.
I gazed at him; the looks in his eyes had changed in a matter of seconds, he stared at me dreamingly. I could tell it wasn't him, somehow his werewolf had manage to pull through.
He pants, sniffing on my neck and enjoying the pleasure it brought to him. "I want you Olivia." He said against my neck.
His hand trailing on my waist and thighs. "I want you now, I want you everytime." He said dreamingly.
I gulped hardly. "Ethan you have to —" he placed his index finger on my lips.
"Hey!" Einstein called disrupting Ethan's mood.
Ethan's eyes flashed in anger. He turned to meet Einstein but Einstein seemed fast and prepared, he stabbed Ethan with a dagger.
"No!" I yelled.
Ethan using his last moment flung Einstein to the air before falling to the ground.
"Ethan!" I called; he was gradually passing out.
"Please don't do this." I pleaded.
I opened his shirt to reveal his wound. "Why aren't you healing?" I asked alarmed.
He gulped, his eyes still flashy. "It's poison. The blade was poisoned." He managed to say.
"Ok, please hold on." I placed my hand on his wound; I could feel the burning sensation of the poison.
Gradually he healed with the aid of my healing touch, but he was still so weak and dying.
"Ethan please wake up." I called.
He held me tightly; his hand feeling so cold already. He was passing out, and I wondered why.
"Olivia." Irene called from behind, followed by some of the town's men."I'm glad you are okay."
Einstein who was groaning earlier, got up and dashed further into the forest.
"He is dying Irene." I said tears flooding my eyes.
Irene placed her fingers on his neck. "He is poisoned." She said.
"I know, isn't there a way I can help." I asked panickingly.
Irene nodded in negation.
I sighed. "Ethan please." I shaked him vigorously but he didn't seem to be responding.
He winced, in pain. "Olivia!" He called softly; I think he was himself now.
"Ethan look at me, I will save you. Please don't die." I said.
"Irene?!"
"You can't heal him, it's a very strong poison." She responded.
I felt Ethan grew weak in my arms, he's body getting cooler each minute, he's eyes dim.
He pass out.
